Not the best Literary versions, but a solid simple introduction to classic stories that can be read, as advertised, in about five minutes.

When my daughter was younger, we read from this book almost nightly. It is a great quality binding and held up well to many, many bedtime stories. I loved the length of the stories and the retelling of the classics I remembered from my childhood.

I did not read this book for fun. It was provided by the parent's of the 9 month old I babysit to read to him. A lot of the fairy tales were the regular basics with a few added in that I had never heard of before.
