This looks like it's going to be yet another great ZOO series.
I was caught up very quickly in this story, especially when Daria, from 'Dark Angel Merchant Marines' appeared in the bar fight that started it all! Lol
But I immediately took to Chill and, when her two team mates, Ivan and Kortez, joined her to form their own Corps, that was it - I was hooked!
I was really taken with the Bugz in this story, and I hope to find out more about them some time but, in the meantime, I'll be happy to find out more about life among the stars, in a future time! Lol
So, without wasting any time, I'm going to follow my chronological reading list, which means I'll be popping back to Daria's series, to read Book Three: 'No One Dies Alone' which, I believe, is the final book of this particular series, sadly.
So, without ado, I'm off to read it, and I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know what I think about it!
another good book, very interesting characters, waiting to see what happens next. The only thing I didn’t like no spoilers bring a knife to a rock fight for chill, give me a break. Will have to see how the characters develop, I will read the next book, I find myself interested. You will too
First of all let me say I didn’t particularly care for the zoo series. But I enjoyed these new books that are placed 1000 years in the future. The characters in this book show a lot of promise. The action is fast-paced and for netic, I hope that technology improves somewhat in the future of the series.
Awesome read. So glad to see some more ZOO spin-offs! It puts a great new twist on a epic foundation of stories while also being a great stand alone series. But I have a feeling it's going to be a whole lot better if you've read some of the other ZOO series. ( Cryptid Assassin, McFadden and Banks, Birth of Heavy Metal)
Another great Anderle series. This one was entertaining and funny. The little bug hero was an unexpected twist. The action is non stop and the storyline was great. All you can ask for in a book.
Another hit Michael, don't know how you keep coming up with the great story line's but don't stop! Snarky characters -bugs-plenty of action &a twist I never saw 👀coming! (Yes Ivan I mean you) one quick question, where did there ship come from?
All the bu....tail kicking you expect from a Michael Anderle tale.
I just finished the entire series, and kept the first book so I could review everything. As is usual with a MA story, this one started off with a bang and keeps the hits coming. I really enjoyed this one. Next!
A good action sci-fi with lots of guns and fights and interesting characters. A fine first of a series that promises surprises with the few threads dropped in the overarching long plot spanning the series.
Love the play between the members of Dead Evil Mercenary Corps! They have each other’s back when they need. They all contribute to their missions. Can’t wait to read more!
