Trent Dalton is curious. About the vintage Mercedes that rolls up across the street every evening. About the guy who climbs out of it. Curious, not interested. He isn’t into cute, buttoned-up accountant types.
Darragh Kelleher is a man on a mission. Get Toronto’s newest wine bar up and running, hire a manager who isn’t him, and catch the next flight home. That’s the plan.
That was the plan.
Until Darragh slid his hand into Trent’s, captured by a smile.
Until Trent sensed there was more to Darragh than corporate casual.
It's been a long and meandering path from that first attempt at writing a Star Trek story, to Fan Fiction, to seeing my own books on Goodreads. A journey I didn't intend to take, a destination I never expected to reach. Life, full of surprises, page after page.
Blood Moon was a great finish to the Blood Bond series.
This book brings us back to Trent, a character I loved from the first book. Trent's first impression of Darragh is that he is cute, but "not my type." Famous last words. Darragh is not your typical vampire. Not into the hunt, he drinks blood from a glass, like a cocktail. The details of his past explain the vampire Darragh is today.
This compelling story explores their relationship with humor, surprises, some friends from previous books, and yes, plenty of steaminess. The author's writing style is exceptional, providing the reader with bountiful, visual descriptions. The unpredictable twists and turns kept me guessing throughout the whole book. A hell of a wrap-up to an outstanding series.
This book can be read as a stand-alone, but I recommend the entire series. Get to know all the vampires.
