This book was a banger. Short simple and straight to the point. Twist and turning everywhere we went kept it entertaining as hell. Let’s see what happens In Part 2!

Hold on, wait a minute! This book gave what it was supposed to give! I was on pins and needles the entire book. I read it so fast that I looked up and was completed with the story. I love the way that Khalil stood up for Honey and his parents. Idk if I would do what Khalil did- I guess he did it because of his grandmothers health. This fast paced book is a for sure page turner! I am ready for book two!

It Was Okay…
The story line is there, I really enjoyed the plot but the execution was lacking. The book scenes were ending abruptly and others were mentioned, but not included in the story. Key scenes that could have made a difference in the story (e.g. the questioning of Red). The meeting with the Sinclair family is also a scene that should have been included vs. just being mentioned, by Honey. The book had tons of drama but no real action. After reading the summary, you’re given the impression that this is about Khalil, his lost now found parents, and an opportunity- truthfully this is a romance about him & Honey along with Kano & Egypt. The connections with the Sinclairs’ was the base of the opportunity, yet the meeting is just thrown in like some unimportant cousin. The most action filled scenes are; Khalil meeting Sydney & Kamal and popping up at the club on Red then taking him. The entire thing gave me the impression that the author was just trying to release a story. That to me made the entire story seem rushed, especially toward the ending.

Definitely A Page Turner 🔥🔥🔥
Wow that ending has my mouth on the floor I am happy to see that Kano is alright.
Whew the audacity of Sydney and Kamal you leave your child behind like he was trash and turn up twenty years later needing his help make it make sense. I can’t wait for those two to get their karma along with Kamal’s father because he was just as wrong as those two as well when it came to Khalil.
Khalil is that ni$&a he took on the role of his twin to save his Mommee and came through to school his so called dad on how to run an empire that he had no business being the head of anyway. I know that he has a plan and I can’t wait to see it unfold in the next part.
I loved Honey. Khalil meeting her was the best thing to ever happen to them both hopefully she can forgive him for not disclosing who he truly was in the beginning.

OMG
Mannn my love for this author runs deep!!! She tells stories like movies lol and Iove it. They way we got points of views in this one had me on edge. Khalil is definitely that nigga and the way he handling Kamal and Sydney is the best. I know Kamal was raised to be an idiot but Sydney not at all. But she was in such a rush to feel like she won that she ain't stop and smell the roses. Now Egypt and Honey definitely ain't with it for real. I really see them being friends for real once the dust settles. I love the way Kano and Khalil have similarities in the way they love their women. They both willing to go to war over them and I can see it happening with that ending. Part 2 going to be littt

Man, What!!
I find it funny that Kamal wanted to get rid of Khalil, but Sydney didn't want to so she gave him to her mama. A favor for a favor. Khalil only did that so he can take care of his mommee.Egypt knows the difference in Kano and Khalil. Honey didn't know the difference because they didn't spend that much time with each other. Red and Jb are going to get their a$$ handed to them. Red set-up Kano but he had to play the grieving friend so he wouldn't look suspicious. Khalil is going have a lot of explaining to do with Honey. The twins are going have to team up and decide who got to go Kamal or Sydney? If it was left up to Khalil both of them has to go. Havoc is a true ride or die. Can't wait for part 2

Wowed‼️
Omg this was sooooooooo good, I literally read this in one setting. Only putting it down when I had no other choice lol. Seriously I was hooked from the very beginning.
Geesh, I was not expecting that ending but I definitely had a feeling.
Kamal and Sydney are two pitiful excuses for parents and I love how Kahlil stay treating their asses. They really got my boy f’d up. I hope the boys come together and take their empire down.
Khalil and Honey are so perfect for each other and now that the truth is about to be revealed I hope they make it.
Whew y’all listen this is the one right here. If you haven’t read it please do yourself a favor and add this to your library, you will not be disappointed.

Two of a kind
Not trying to give too much away, but I will say I’m going to need part 2 ASAP! This book held my attention from start to finish and I’m really anxiously awaiting the next book to see how everything plays out. Now Lil’ is bae and I love how he never switched up no matter what his “sperm donors” was offering. Now I do feel like he should have let Honey know what was up but hopefully they can get past that bump in the road. As for that ending I curious to see how this “new character” will act.

The Good Ole Days…
This book was EVERYTHING! As an avid reader I enjoy books that make you experience every emotion the characters go through, and this book did just that. A common storyline in urban fiction but nothing ever executed like this. It was polished, intriguing, and kept me wanting more. Definitely reminded me of the era of books we read over and over back in the good ole days of urban fiction. This author is no stranger to a good storyline. Her books always are a hit. But this is one you don’t want to sleep on fasho!

so enjoyable
This storyline was so good. I wish Part 2 was already written. I laughed a lot too. Imagine Kano being still alive. Khalil and Havoc displaying basic common sense in dealing with Kamal and Sydney. I can’t wait to read when Khalil tell Honey he actually married her under his real name. I so looking forward to a happy ending that will include Sean being released from prison and Mommee’s cancer in remission. I can picture this story being released thru Tubi or Bet+ as a movie.

I'm loving Khalil and Havoc relationship I hate Kamal's ass and disappointed in Sydney's actions although she was young she know right from wrong. Honey poor thing I hope she takes it easy on Khalil. This book was so good. I couldn't stop reading. This storyline will have you feeling all kinds of emotions. Kamal and Sydney need to be ashamed of themselves. They definitely dont deserve to be parents since their end goal is all about money. I love Khalil. He is not the one to try to pushover. Although under false pretenses, I do hope for the best between him and Honey. My suspicions about Kano came true with that shocking ending and i just hope things work out for the best between these characters and the evil doers get what they deserve.

Gasping for air
Don’t leave me high and dry I need some more! I hate how selfish Syd and her husband became to even neglecting their kids physically and mentally. Even asking Khalil for help in exchange for helping mommee was mind boggling because you’d think that was the least they can do for him AND her since she raised him after they abandoned him. The end had me hype because I felt like Kano didn’t get the life he wanted and deserved. I love how Khalil and Havoc come in and take charge. It’s technically a new king in town! Time for change!

First this story flows so well. The entire experience of reading this book was so good. I was looking for a new series and decided, why not read this series because I read her Christmas book. All I can say is, WOW!!!!! I went from being Angry, to laughing, to smiling, to angry again, to YES!!! We about to get revenge. I read this book in one sitting in morning because I could not put it down. Part II here I come.

This was an incredibly well written book. It is fast paced and a real page turner. Once you get started you will not stop until the end. These people did anything and everything for money and power. These family's finding out the hard way that the power of love is much stronger. I can't wait to see what happens next and when you read it you will feel the same. I actually screamed out loud YES. I’m loving the intriguing storyline. The parents in this story are ruthless with the moves they are making to maintain a lifestyle, not caring who gets hurt in the process. Love Khalil and Havoc relationship, to bad Kano can’t say the same about his right hand. The women in the twins life are the loves of their life. Red dumbass thought he had everything figured out….NOT. With that cliffhanger, the parents better hold on!!

Lawdt, I would have never thought this was going to end like this. I did have an idea though. This book have so many twists and turns. I cannot wait to read part 2. It was kind of crazy how Khalil fell for Honey so quickly but I guess I can see how that happens when you spend so much time with someone. It was so funny how they never had a funeral for Kano or anybody ever said anything about his death

Good read
I seen that ending coming but what I didn't expect was yim to be the place he was. Now I just need part two because I feel like a lot of cards are about to fall and a lot of heads are about to roll because it's just to many games being played. I can't wait for Khalil to deal with Kamal.

Loved it!
This was a reallyyy good read. Trenae definitely did her thing. I understand Khalil's pain but his mouth is reckless and annoying. I just love Honey and I hope she gets her happily ever after! I know ish is about to get real in pt 2 and I'm here for it! Looks like more secrets and lies will be revealed 🤔

So Kano has been alive all of this time and I bet his father set his right hand to do it. I love how Khalil isn't playing with no one. He seems like he may be the good brother even though he was the abandoned child. I still can't believe their mother smh like she's disgusting. Overall is was a great read 📚.

I'm enjoying this unique take on arranged marriage. Combined with the subplots, this is a decent read. The parents are truly pieces of work with no conscience or heart. Khalil and Honey belong together regardless of how they started out - 'til death (though I hope it doesn't come to that).

Reborn
Honey and Khalil were meant for each other. His parents really messed up when they threw him away as if he didn't exist and hers are just money hungry jerks! I Can't wait to find out Kanos story because I'm quite sure he couldn't be as awful as made out to be. Can't wait to see how he ends up in in Muslims hometown.
