Who will win JT’s heart?
Maggie Chambers is used to living the high life, taking trips to Paris, Florence, and Rome with her French lover. She indulges in expensive art, fancy clothes, and expensive food until the money runs out, her lover flees, and her former husband closes down the purse strings. This propels Maggie on a mission to get money before she becomes homeless.

Unprepared for work, her only apparent skill is flirting. Soon she lands on a reality TV show, Millionaire Engagement, finding herself competing with forty other attractive women who want JT’s heart.

To make matters worse, JT’s a grieving widower who doesn’t want to be on the show but is lured into it by his business partner. He’s also a cowboy from Tucson who loves the simple life of riding his horse in the hardy desert—a life Maggie can’t tolerate.

It doesn’t take long for Maggie to realize that despite all her efforts, she can’t seem to get along with the other women on the show nor the producer, and they are determined to get Maggie away from JT in any way possible.

Will Maggie be able to capture JT’s heart before being kicked off the show?

Anastasia Alexander doesn’t have the answers to life’s love questions. What she does know is that love in the 21st Century is complex. There are no easy answers, and there is a lot of richness and juiciness in exploring all the complexity that love brings.

Her credentials are two failed marriages, equaling twenty-three years of marriage and a willingness to believe that maybe a third one will be her lucky number. Or she might decide to compete with Elizabeth Taylor for who can get married the most times. It is yet to be determined which option she’s going to go for, but until then she pours her passion and sarcasm for relationships into her stories.

First, I want to thank Anastasia Alexander for providing me with this book so I can bring you this review.

If you are a fan of the Bachelorette or the Bachelor then Anastasia Alexander’s Romancing JT Millionaire Romance is just the book for you. Just an fyi JT is NOT Justin Timberlake as I found out while reading the book. Seriously though I literally felt like I was on the set of a reality show trying to figure out who was going to win his heart! To be a fly on the wall was pretty cool seeing I like those reality shows.

My heart went out to JT whom was grieving the loss of his wife. Yet, his business partner made him go on the show even though his heart was not ready to move on.
It was a very interesting book.

JT is a cowboy who loved riding in the Tucson desert, which Maggie would never tolerate. He also was not really thinking about marrying again after he lost his beloved wife to cancer. So when his brother-in-law suggests going on a reality TV show to find a new wife, he is definitely not interested. He is finally talked into it.

Maggie in the meantime is desperate for money so she won’t be forced to give up the lifestyle she has become used to. She decides to try her luck on the reality show, but the people don’t seem to like her. She needs to make her play for JT before she loses that opportunity. Will she be able to start a serious relationship with JT? Or is she doomed to a homeless existence?

I really dislike reality TV shows and never watch them. I was afraid this book might too closely mirror that, but it was actually really good! The story line was handled well and moved at the proper pacing. Character development was perfect and the characters were very likable, especially when Maggie started to change her ways. The humor is what really made it just what I wanted in a book – fun, enjoyable, and making the characters seem real enough to be friends that I cared about. Grab your copy and enjoy!

This was a fun read for those who enjoy reality tv. I don't follow any of the "Who Wants to Marry..." type shows but this book was interesting enough to hold my attention. I didn't care for Maggie for most of the book at all. I thought she was vapid and shallow. She did some things that were detestable. I didn't think she could redeem herself. I really liked JT I thought he was an honorable man. I liked that he was sentimental and sweet. I think it is crazy that he let himself get talked into the reality show though. I thought the chemistry between them was real even though I couldn't understand it myself. I don't know what really attracted him to her...I guess it is true that there is someone for everyone. I think others will enjoy this book too. I look forward to meeting other characters in book 2. I look forward to reading more about Austin (her son) and his girlfriend Darlene.

Romancing JT is a tender and engrossing work of romance. What I liked the most about it is, of course, the protagonist, who is faced with a challenge or conflict she must overcome; the way she responds to this challenge reveals her character and sets the course of the story. The goals, desires and beliefs she is driven to pursue, and these motivations help to shape her actions and decisions, and the story starts flowing smoothly until the very last end.

Alexander’s writing is sometimes taut and suspenseful, drawing the reader in from the very first page. The plot is complex and multi-layered, with twists and turns that kept me guessing until the very end. The characters are well-drawn and believable, each with their own motivations and flaws that drive the story forward.

Loved this book!

What a delightful surprise. I seriously enjoyed reading this book. It held my attention from the start and I read it straight through. I can give you a review that it had a good storyline, the characters were memorable, funny and real, the editing was spot on and it would be the truth. What this book is...is entertaining.

Fav quotes:
***There was something about JT and being around him that caused me to do nice things, which was weird.
***I wasn’t as mature as I needed to be. It was good you walked away from me. I needed to grow up so I could be the best partner for you.

"Romance and introspection".

When I bought this book, I was intrigued but had some doubts because it was very promising and I didn't know if it would live up to it. Now, I can say that it is definitely great. The author was able to join the funny cliché with a story of self-improvement and self-love.
In Romancing JT: Millionaire Romance by Anastasia Alexander, the main character is Maggie Chambers, a heartbroken woman who decided to turn to reality TV to compete for a millionaire romance. I enjoyed it and I liked how the author developed the story and each one of the characters.
It is a deep story, light and easy to read at the same time.

Good book

This is a good read, but not a great read. To me it was very long winded. It was nice to see Maggie "grow-up" - finally!!

The supposed picture of "JT" that is on the "cover" of my Kindle book is so far off the mark it makes you wonder if someone made a big mistake when selecting it!! JT is supposed to be an "older" gentlemen, yet the picture is of someone who might be all of 35!! Did the person that selected the picture even glance at the character???

Before I comment further, I have to admit to not watching Television over the past 5 years or more, basically because of profilfication of "reality TV" programs. So I am biased against such events to start with, then to come across this genre in TBR pile, well, it took me longer than normal to get into the feel of this story.
Yeah, plus JT was likeable, Maggie had already left a sour taste from the previous edition.
Even saying all this, I still enjoyed the outcome.

Enjoyed

This was an interesting take on love. The competition to marry a millionaire was entertaining with so many personalities kept the pages turning. Maggie was really something else and went through many changes to discover real love. By the end of the story JT learned something also and that turned into a happy ending for Maggie and JT.

Romancing JT: Millionaire Romance is a gripping novel written by Anastasia Alexander. It has all the required ingredients of the romantic novel: a sweet and romantic protagonist, a handsome and rich cowboy and a thrilling love story with its ups and downs. But the author has included much more in this great book. She has put a lot of work and ability in the development of the characters, so we can read about the relationship between the two protagonists but we can also witness the growth and change of the characters. Their personalities and behaviour are analysed and described in a realistic and very compelling way. This makes this work original and adapted to the modern times and the reality of contemporary interpersonal relationships.

This was an emotionally engaging read for me. At first I didn't like Maggie at all, she was selfish and manipulative. I like that the author allowed her to mature. JT seemed to be a decent guy but I am not convinced that he knows true love or has 100% to even give to another woman. I am not a fan of reality shows at all so that dating & kissing so many women was just not my cup of tea. The best part of the whole story to me was the character growth for Maggie, I honestly would have preferred she remained independent and find someone less petty and wishy-washy then JT turned out to be.

"Romancing JT: Millionaire Romance" by Anastasia Alexander is a fresh and modern novel where reality and fiction intertwine and create a story of pure enjoyment. In this book, we meet Maggie Chambers, who was left by her lover. In search of a fresh start and a new love, Maggie signs up for the reality show that promises a million-dollar romance. There, she competes with other women for the love of JT; could she be the winner of this reality show and thus be able to meet the love of her life?

I am a great lover of romantic novels and this seemed from another planet to me. It's modern, with very complete characters and with twists and turns that leave the reader surprised.

This was good

I loved this book. The story was believable and not overly descriptive. Though considered a bookworm, romance novels are not usually my thing but this deserves an A.
