At long last, the time has come. Mukohda and his party of ever-ravenous familiars are finally ready to set foot in the Brixt dungeon, a notorious hellhole famed for being the hardest dungeon in the land! The God of All Creation himself warned our hero of the unspeakable horrors waiting below that even his overpowered allies couldn’t take lightly. Much to Mukohda's chagrin, this warning was no deterrent at all.
The Brixt dungeon may be full of dangerous monsters, devious traps, and glory-hungry adventurers who’d sooner see an upstart like Mukohda six feet under than split a share of their loot with him, but it also promises piles of treasure, oodles of rare ingredients, and EXP in abundance! And speaking of EXP, it’s only a matter of time before Mukohda unlocks his third Supermarket Tenant that the gods have been pestering him about for so long…
We finally see unfriendly people around Mukohda. In this book, This is quite refreshing since all these time, it would seem that Mukohda befriends all the people he meets. We've never seen people outright malicious towards him. And to be honest, I think it came quite late. Considering that Mukohda had been causing rave and rumors with him accomplishing nigh-impossible quests and his dungeon-diving that's always turned out successful, it's quite unbelievable that he is only getting evidently malicious treatment now (the previously merchant and noble attacks aside). But nonetheless, I'm glad the author showed it. It shows that not all things are always good. Also, I'm glad Mukohda was not able to connect any dots there. That may be purely from his innocence or from his familiars protecting him from that kind of malice, I'm still glad that he wasn't able to think about it, or else, as a person from modern Japan, that would weigh on him quite heavily.
I also want to note how in this book, it's shown pretty obviously how his familiars are all becoming a bit spoiled haha they wouldn't listen to him and their retorts to Mukohda seem to be getting ruder. I don't know if it's just me but whenever I read those parts, I get upset by a teeny tiny bit lol Tho it's not like Mukohda doesn't make me sigh too. He needs to learn that Sui is a monster and thus he needs to get stronger and learn how to evidently kill and hunt prey @.@ i think he's becoming too overprotective and sometimes, I feel like he'd rather impede Sui's growth than have him capable. Sure, Sui is improving exponentially that it can be quite scary, but still, he has to realize that it's in Sui's nature to be like that. I get that he wants to baby the slime but hnnn, I hope he realizes that Sui being an efficient killer and hunter is okay. Getting stronger is okay.
Lastly, I know Mukohda is easy to scare with everything, especially since he's spent his last (almost) three decades in modern Japan where safety isn't much of a problem, but I hope he adapts soon and becomes less scared of things haha I'm sure he'll realize soon enough that he's safe with all his familiars.
I'm excited to read the next. I wonder what more will happen in the dungeon.
Much better entry compared to the previous one, since this involved dungeon diving. The obnoxious duo of Fel and Dora-Chan are still jerks, but at least in this one we can see that they will protect Mukhoda if the need comes. And the come-uppance that the obnoxious, evil and prideful S-ranked party, that our gluttonous party encounters in the in dungeon, receives is oh so satisfying.
On to the next! At this point I cannot stop, and I just wish that the novels and the subsequent translations can come out faster!
The contract creatures in this series have gotten more & more antagonistic and arrogant over time. They keep demanding more of the main character, while offering less in exchange. They're also making decisions that greatly affect the main character, then taking action based on those decisions, without the main character's knowledge. It's getting more frustrating than entertaining to read the latest translations of this series.

Statistics ⭐ Started May 15, 2024 - Ended May 15, 2024💙 It took me a total of 4 hours, 46 minutes, and 40 seconds to reas💙 Read it digitally on my kindle💙
Review/Rating⭐ I rate the light novel a 4.1💙 The first chapter was somewhat boring to read but after the chapter 1 it became really entertaining and that this volume is very different because it is the first time... S- P- O- I- L- E- R......... Mukohda encounter a not so friendly party which i definitely enjoyed. About the foods as always it makes me feel hungry especially the one that has garlic butter in the bonus chapter that one really make my stomach growl. Can't wait to read the next volume for the adventure of Mukohda and his familiar from Brixt dungeon.💙 I must say this one is for 13+ cause this one is a little bit darker than the other volume in my opinion because of one particular chapter or page but its up to you because maybe im just overreacting.💙
Gonna continue reading the Invsiblle of Addie Larue tomorrow💙
This remains a fun read. I do have to roll my eyes how Mukouda continues to not get why he remains single while other men he meets either have a wife or a girlfriend. If you're an adventurer, you're expected to be a strong warrior and 100% braver than Mukouda actually is. Honestly at this point the only girls that will ever be willing to pair up with him are either a lot younger than him (once she's a legal adult) or someone with a merchant background. None of the women he meets as an adventurer (who are probably adventurers too) will ever be into him. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if some young women are disappointed that he's an adventurer and doesn't fit the image of one. I do continue to read this series because there's enough humor in it to make it worth reading.
the best part of the volume was towards the end when the goddesses enjoy a spot of fujo-ing out. more media should feature fujos. the second best bit was the premier dungeon diving party of brixt's reaction to mukohda's party. while we saw elrand's pov in aveling, it was more awe and speechlessness; the 37th floor party's was utter fear at the sight of the glutton trio's absurd levels of power. it was very efficient how they were introduced; let the readers know the ridiculousness of fel, dora and sui, and the dangers of adventuring and dungeon diving; and how the exited the volume; i do wish they'd hung around for longer or we'd gotten a few more povs.
Just love it. I like seeing the innocence of Mokouda. Luckily he has his three familiars looking out for him. I enjoyed how Fel and Dora-Chan almost had a fight. I’m shock to see how the so called strongest adventurers from Brexit was trying to hurt Mokouda. I still can’t understand how much money Mokouda is making that he is having a hard time dealing on how to use it.
Okay, this volume brought the fun and adventure back for me. Maybe I’m a dungeon fiend like the familiars, but I really enjoyed the dungeon diving and getting to see a party of adventurers who were glory hounds (and a bunch of jerks too). It made things interesting, to be sure
Me di cuenta que los libros de calabozos son mis favoritos, y el calabozo aún no termina. El encuentro con la otra party fue intenso. Entretenido y tranquilo al mismo tiempo.
I'm amazed that I'm still following this series. A few volumes back my interest started waning, but each time a new volume came out, I realize I kinda missed Mukoda and the gang and continued on reading. This series has a special pull that can't really be explained.
From the very beginning, this series can be summed up into four main events. 1.Mukoda cooks food 2. Fel, Dora and Sui beg and hunt for more food 3. Mukoda prepares offerings for the gods and 4. They travel and meet new people. The last one varies, but the first three points have always remained consistent with every volume. I've never particularly favored any one of the main characters (except maybe pre-battle junkie Sui), many times I've even found them annoying, and whether that consistency is good or not is up for debate, and yet...I can't help but pick up every volume that pops up.
This particular volume has even less variation as, for most of it, Mukoda and the gang were just fighting in a new dungeon. There's nothing wrong with the writing style; it's detailed and appropriately descriptive. But the plot, nothing new. And yet, I know that if a volume 12 is published, I'll be reading that too.
It's a mystery to me. One has to really read it to understand.
Starts with the crew heading to the Brixt Dungeon. Mukoda is still an idiot, helping rude people who don't deserve to be saved or helped. He still is doormat for others, with no self-respect. Also, his comment about a beautiful person being with someone not attractive, WTF? Beauty is not everything, shallow inmmatture behavior. Because of this, I removed a star. I'm really hating him. They find a "gift" from Demiurge. The party that is supposed to be on the "lead" tried to attack them, but Mukoda thinks it was an accident. SPOILER, they die, YES! Super funny part when Mukoda uses insecticide to kill the monsters. They take a break and go out. TBC on the next volume. Onto my next adventure, Happy Readings!!!

One of the weaker entries. It was always a pretty light and thin premise, which makes sense why it's getting a bit tired 11 entries in. The major issue is the protagonist sees zero growth, and in some ways, seems to move backward. It's still a pretty relaxing read full of tasty food, but if that's the case, I'd rather read something like the Restaurant to Another World or Isekai Izakaya Nobu.
What this really needs to get some renewed energy is for them to take one of the many random plot threads they tease but then avoid to actually get developed into something.
There’s something about this series that reduces my stress and relaxes me. Mostly I enjoy the adventures and especially the recipes. However, I am getting sick of the casual sexism. Didn’t love the off handed comment the main character made about a female adventurer in a dungeon safe room and how a flat chest rendered her completely unattractive. Offensive gross and unnecessary.
Wow , so this was another fun read. So we finally met some really not nice adventures. It works as not everybody is nice, karma got them. Sui really was cute
