This should have been a really fun read for me. I love horse books and good ones are not easy to find.

The part about the horses was good. The girls were fun and easy to like. The overall story was good. So all I can figure out is that the writing style was not for me. It was hard to read because of the issues on Kindle with the book I got on NetGalley. The spacing and many hyphens were in the wrong place. The chapters did not start on a new page like in most books.

I think some illustrations of the horses and girls on their adventure would have been fun.

I really wanted to love this book! It could have been a great gift!

Where was this book when I was in middle school?? I'd have loved it just as much, if not more, as I did reading it now as an adult. This really is the perfect blend between horses and adventure. The only thing that drags down the rating for me is the writing. The story is solid, but the writing is sometimes disjointed and looks like it's in the middle of editing with sections being moved around. I hope that this was fixed before publishing as I read an ARC.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for letting me read and review this ARC.
