Well, at least that was the case for Mya and Andre. Two adults in their mid twenties searching for a bright light through rough times. Rough times that ironically lead them into each other's paths. Assumptions and misunderstanding can cause pain and confusion. Most times being in the wrong place at the wrong time can make a situation worse than it has to be. Especially when you get the chance to see things from both sides of the story. Take a look through each of their eyes and try to keep up. About the author

Growing up I loved the 90's black love movies. Movies like 'The Wood' and 'Two Can Play That Game'. MY goal is to write books in that same vein of reality. I see we have a large amount of 'drug dealer' or 'killer thug' type of books flooding the market. I just want to highlight the everyday black people in the real world with stories we can all relate to.

The concept of the story was really a good one. However, the story as well as the characters were underdeveloped. I do enjoy a simplistic story...this story lacked any dimension...In additional the narrator needs more practice...he had a great tone, but he wasn't able to convey the story well.

I liked the story.... But!

I really wanted to love this story, and I did, but.... The author writes like she speaks, so it is a different kind of read. Editing is desperately needed to catch the little issues like using 1 instead of one. Some of the details don't track in the storyline. The cliffhanger ending did not help. Check it out and form your own opinion. Other things to ponder- Dre and Mya were mostly hesitant in their actions so I'm not sure how they derived their feelings for one another. Overall, the story was decent.

Great Great read!

I’m just speechless right now. I really enjoyed this love story and everything is not as it appears. The author has great characters and the storyline is great.

Needs something

This feels like someone trying something new. Although the premise was good, the follow through was lacking. It ended on a cliffhanger, but even that seemed lackluster. It has potential, just needs focus.

Needs better editing

The storyline was OK, but the editing needs work. There were too many misspelled or incorrectly used words and poor punctuation, which made it a harder read than desired.
