This is very short and seems to be a prequel for a series. It's a quick read about a gal that is writing a book about demons so she has tea with one to get more info. It was interesting. Would like to see where the series goes. I like this author.

Cute short story not sure what it has to do with cursed candy Lol but a witch looking to update her book on demons sits down to tea with her Niece a witch "demon hunter" and a demon. Very Quick read. Nice first look at a new series by what is becoming one of my favorite authors.

Trixie together with her nearly 80 year old great-aunt Griselda, plans to update their encyclopedia of magical creatures called All things Magical and Bumpy Things in the Night. They seek out the creatures using Trixie's unique power of creature tracking. A power she hides from members of her family (except aunt Griselda) due to it being highly unusual.
First stop: A Cafe. Trixie's magical abilities lead her to a Cafe where she and her aunt encounters a demon who invites them to have tea with him. Described as being a rather handsome Demon with a semblance to Henry Cavill, Trixie is immediately smitten with him. Aunt Griselda makes no attempt to hide her flirtatious ways with the handsome Sylvester.
Sylvester agrees to provide them the information they seek, but asks for something in return from Trixie. As Sylvester begins to relay the information the duo realizes that they know much too little of demons, their characteristics and background.
Wanted to like this one because 'witches and demons' but they were too soft for my liking. And the back story of how demons can wander around in cafes doesn't sit right with me.

Cute little introduction to A Cursed Candy Mystery. You get to meet the demon Sylvester, the witch great aunt Grizzie, and her niece Trixie. Looks like the beginning of a great friendship at least.

Silly and fun story of witch Trixie (with great-aunt Griselda) interviewing (with the hope of updating a magic encyclopaedia) and having tea with a most accommodating demon.

Fun little short story, very well written and it left me wanted to read more from this author.
