I started out not sure when I read book one, but now I love this series and the bit of humour infused along the way.

Wicked Predator is the fourth book in the series Masters of the Deep, and is a paranormal shifter D/s tale with a shark and a Navy SEAL who also happens to be a dominant. These men know what they want and expect their women to fall in line.

Logan and four other shark shifters were born to follow in their father's footsteps to protect the secret of the sunken USS Kracken. He is a dominant man in everything he does, and when one woman gains his notice when she gets too close to the Kracken and their secret, he won't be denied. After one taste, she is his, she is the submissive he didn't know he wanted, and the sparks fly. Sydney is used to being in charge, but Logan knows just how to help her.

The chemistry is hot and melt the sheets; these men will stop at nothing to preserve their secrets and protect their women from the evil trying to control them.

I am so enjoying the series Masters of the Deep by Felicity Brandon and Delta James. Each book seems to get better and better. The latest book Wicked Predator had me sitting up late reading and biting my finger nails worried and excited about what was happening. The characters Logan and Dallas are captivated by each other at first sight. The passion and love they had for each other was combustible. Along with their fellow teammates and the women who love them they keep each other safe and are trying to figure out the danger they are in. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series and I recommend this series to everyone.

This is the forth book in the “Masters of the Deep” & it was an exceptional well-written entertaining read. This book can easily be read as a standalone but I would recommend reading the series in order to understand the underlying storyline. The plot has good world building with excellent scene descriptions and is extremely intriguing with a lot of interesting situations that is guaranteed to attract the reader’s attention. The characters are basically from different species (human/shark shifter) and are really fascinating with their individual personalities & they are quite realistic with their reactions and/or emotional feelings.
There is: a human female (Dallas Miles) is employed by an oil company as a chief environmental investigator, a alpha male navy seal & shortfin mako shark shifter (Logan Knight), a devious male shareholder (Eli Green) of a company (Pistris Oil), a environmental hazard/oil spill, friendship, comradery, unethical experiments, intrigue, drama, suspense, action, adventure, suspicions, deceit, corruption, manipulations, secrets, danger, threats, enemies, unexpected surprises, protectiveness, domination/submission, steamy scenes & a happy conclusion for this couple with a very intriguing epilogue that could be paving the way for the next book in this series.

Wicked Predator.
By Delta James and Felicity Brandon.

Shifters are a species that fascinate me, even if they are created from an author’s imagination, but what fascinates me the most is the variation with how an author decides what characteristics a specific shifter should have including the explanation of how and why they came into being. So it’s great when an author look’s at their idea’s and chooses to create something a little different
Well this novel has been written outside the box, these shifters are a type never seen or heard of before, secrecy is still a number one priority, but those within the family unit are made aware of who and what they are how they came into being including how deeply these men will go to love and protect their families and their other halves.their team becomes their world and nothing is above those who they love and care about.
We meet the SEALS team, Nash, Mason, Zac, Flynn and Logan who are Guardians of of the site of the Kraken, a special site owned by the navy and houses a lot of secret and sensitive information that must not fall into the wrong hands so their team is the barrier between the US government and the people.
Finding a partner was not really on Logan’s list, but as soon as he meets Dallas he knows she is that special someone who can give him everything he needs and desires within all aspects of their lives. A spill has been caused from one of the oil rigs, so Dallas is sent out to investigate and contain the oil but she finds herself in a situation that shows her this was not an accident, someone has major illegal activities going on and the rig is central to all the action.
As Dallas and Logan begin to grow in their love for each other, it becomes obvious Dallas has been placed in the crossfires of the criminal activities and those who would like her gone, so Logan does everything he can to keep her protected and safe.while the team tries to figure out exactly who is involved and how far it reaches.
Is it possible to find out who is behind the evil of the spill and the illegal activities on the rig, is the Kraken site and the SEAL team safe, you will find enough fascinating action and suspense happening throughout the storyline including some rather steamy and hot affection lovingly given to each of the Guardian couples who are central to this intriguing storyline, while giving this adventure tantalising scenes throughout, and is definitely for 18+ age groups a little to extreme for anyone younger.
Without giving to much away. believe me when I say you will find this book fast paced enough to keep you wanting to find out exactly how this adventure will end if they are able to stay safe and protect against those determined to bring about their downfall.
If paranormal romance is a favourite genre of yours then you should grab a copy of this book immediately and get started reading, this book can be read as a standalone or you can become invested in the series, do not miss out on all the mystery and adventure surrounding this unusual SEALS team.

I was torn between 3 and 4 stars but went with 4 stars because it is a necessary story to the series.

This book continues the very weird world of shark shifters. Logan finds his match in this installment. Just like his friends before him, it's immediate attraction followed by super-speed love and devotion. If you don't like that then don't read this book. Dallas works for Pistris Oil as an environmental specialist. Their worlds collide when one of the oil rigs springs a leak. That oil spill and it ramifications aren't fully solved in this story so I assume the author will do that in the next installment. Logan and Dallas have to race against a bad guy that is very determined to win. I'm not sure what he thinks he's going to win but winning is all he cares about.

What I liked about the story is that it continued the story pretty seamlessly. Each character plays a distinct role and they all fit together nicely. Dallas and Logan are not very detailed characters. Honestly, I don't know much about them except that they are now a couple. I'm going to say that I'm okay with that because it fits this type of story. Too many personal details would bog it down.

What I didn't like were some of the small mentions or specific elements. For example, the use of the word teat. There are no farm animals in the pages of this story and that's all I'm going to say about that. Another example is the bad guy is so over-the-top bad. I kept expecting him to cackle and twirl his mustache (if he had one). Given the way he acts and the things he does, I don't know how he hasn't been investigated repeatedly by the authorities. The thing I really didn't like was that this story is kind of forgettable. I am having to refer to it repeatedly to write this review and that doesn't bode well for me remembering it in the future.

This is a contemporary romance that takes place in Mexico but mostly on a boat or an oil rig. You really need to read the prior installments before reading this one because they are so connected. I will read the next book in this series because the authors are finally introducing shark city! I can't wait for more details.

This book was exciting from the very first page. We are introduced to Logan Knight as he's swimming through the ocean to a new oil slick, trying to learn more about what happened and why the oil is still being pumped into the sea. Here, we figure out that Logan is, in fact, a Mako shark AND a shifter, adding another element to the story. This is not a surprise if you come into this series after the first three books. However, this book can be read as a standalone and enjoyed! As Logan swims back to the yacht to discuss his findings with his teammates, we meet the second main character, Dallas Miles. As it turns out, Dallas works for the company drilling the oil as their environmentally friendly liaison and is who is in charge in the event of an oil spill and cleaning up the mess. Their paths are destined to cross.

The book then takes us on a thrilling and exciting adventure of the secrets behind the oil spill, and there is suspense, danger, spicy D/s scenes, and a storyline that keeps you entertained and wondering where it will take you next. The characters are well-rounded, unique individuals fiercely protective of their family, including the families they've made out of friends and teammates. Dallas is a strong character with a high moral sense of right and wrong, especially where the Earth is concerned. She stands up for what she believes is right and fights against the wickedness the best she can. While she's unsure about how fast she fell for Logan, Dallas knows that he is hers and she is his. Logan is a character that is confident in his friends and family and what they stand for as protectors. His family is his highest priority, and he'll go to the ends of the Earth to keep them safe. They work together well in this story.

Overall, this book can be read as an entertaining standalone but would also be enjoyable when read in order. It's an enthralling read and easy to get through. The characters are well-written and realistic, even as shark shifters!.

'Wicked Predator' is the fourth book in Delta James and Felicity Branden's "Masters of the Deep" series. If you've been following along with the series as each book has been released, you'll know each storyline contains the story of one member of the SEALS unit that protects the Kracken. Book one was for Mason Lockheart, the Great White shark shifter, and his mate Shiloh. Book Two tells the story of Zac, a Tiger Shark shifter, and his mate Trinity. Book three brought us Flynn, an Oceanic Whitetip shark shifter, along with his mate Devon. Now we're introduced more intimately to Logan Knight, the Shortfin Mako shifter, and his mate Dallas. It seems with this spectacular team of authors and Fate, each member of the team has found the perfect complement to become their other half. Logan, while on patrol, comes across an oil spill that's just left to run free. Dallas is an environmentalist who is employed by a local oil manufacturer in Mexico. Their sizzling chemistry sparks instantly when they make eye contact and doesn't lessen throughout the book. Remember, each member of the team does not just play at being a Dominant, they live it as a lifestyle 24/7, and Dallas, even though she is in charge of cleanups in a male dominant career, is thrilled to find and enjoy a true D/s relationship. The intrigue concerning Shark City and the corruption that has had these men chasing leads still plays a major role as more and more pieces of information are being revealed throughout the story along with the characters involved. Ms. James and Ms. Branden have called themselves geeks playing with an idea during shark week. By all means, ladies, let your imaginations continue to run wild because this is a thrilling series that only gets better with each book and I can't wait for Nash's story to come.

“Wicked Predator” is the 4th book in the ‘Masters of the Deep’ series by Felicity Brandon and Delta James. Each book features a different couple, with their own plot that takes place beneath an overarching plot. You can read and understand this book on its own, but you’ll get a lot more out of it and the bigger story if you read the other books first.

Each book in the series focuses on one of five Shark Shifters. They each transform into different types of sharks; Logan, the lead male character in this book, is a Shortfin Mako. He and the others have a classified mission to protect a secret submarine that was intentionally scuttled during World War Two. As you learn in the book, it’s both an honor and a tragedy to be part of this mission.

Logan discovers an oil rig leaking at a horrific rate into the waters off Mexico. The company who owns the rig has a fierce female environmentalist on staff. Her name is Dallas, and she has no patience for the bureaucracy of the oil company. When she and Logan meet, it’s an instalust situation that quickly morphs into instalove and a D/s relationship dynamic. You just have to go with it. The story is told from the perspective of Logan and Dallas, and of Eli Green, the baddest of the bad guys.

In addition to some intense, steamy scenes, this story is full of mystery and intrigue, corruption and deception, loyalty and devotion. It moves at a fast pace, and has some good humorous moments. The end of the book sets up the next one, which will be about Nash, the last unattached male character.

Fourth book in the series a wonderful read, great characters and wonderful plot
I will be careful about how much I actually say about this book as I do not want to spoil the plot for other readers, as I have read every one of these books, I do not want to spoil this simply wonderful read for upcoming readers.
This book is Dallas and Logan’s story and I have to say that I loved the interaction of the characters, when Logan inadvertently comes across an oil spill in the ocean, he meets Dallas who is responsible for the actual clean up of spilled chemicals as the ocean and its life will be damaged without anyone paying it any attention.
I loved the way in which the characters interacted with each other and the way the worked together with each other in their effort to deal with the spill. Dallas and Logan were simply wonderful together and bringing into that the fact the Shark Shifters have pulled her into their life and more importantly the way she actually feels about them.
I guarantee that once you begin reading this wonderful story that you will not be able to put down this book until you reach the end and discover the outcome.
I do not want to spoil the plot so will say no more about the three of them, I assure you that you will enjoy every single moment of this book.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

This book , like the others in the series, seemed to be such quick reads to me. I know it was because I got so involved at the very beginning and stayed that way until the end.

Logan and Dallas' romance was intense and steamy from the very beginning. It was absolutely instalove, but didn't feel that way. With so much action, danger, suspense, and Intrigue occurring, it seemed as if they had known each other much longer. Logan was immediately as protective of Dallas as each of the other SEAL'S were of their SO's.

Dallas seamlessly fit in with the rest of the team. I liked that they all accepted her so easily. I also like the way the entire group works together for the same goal, and treat each other as family.

I was holding my breath on and off during this book as I kept waiting for that other shoe to drop. This book, as well as the others, did not end on a cliffhanger. The story is not complete. Eli Green and his minions are evil. The mystery has not been solved. The danger is real and lurking around every corner. No one is safe. The suspense is next level. I am truly looking forward to Nash's book.

I suppose this book could be read as a standalone. I would suggest it be read in order. Each book very briefly mentions something from previous books, but the only way to get a full, complete picture is to read the series in order.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

This was a paranormal shifter romance.

Loved this book! Strong female & uber alpha characters are the best. Can't wait to see how Green gets his comeuppance. Must read!

Dallas Miles is a conservationist working for an oil company and a sub. She kicks butt when necessary but can also be vulnerable when she wants to be.

Logan Knight is a shortfin Mako shark shifter and a Dom. He and his four friends are the Guardians. The men would all give their lives for each other and the women they love, they are family.

Dallas is called in to handle an oil spill for her employer. She needs to oversee the cleanup and find out what caused it. When she gets to the rig she is enraged by the lack of action and immediately fired the useless cleanup crew. She meets Logan in a bar and they hook up. While going over the maintenance records she noticed several discrepancies but before she can do anything several thugs show up on the rig and destroy all the records. She and Logan have to swim for it only Logan disappears and a shark helps her. The major shareholder in the oil company, Eli Green, is a nasty piece of work. He and the CEO decide to try to blame the spill on Dallas but she holds a press conference to tell the truth. Green is also involved in a covert government scientific research program and is dumping toxic waste in the ocean.

Logan Knight is swimming offshore when he comes across an enormous oil slick. Horrified, he goes back to his partners and reports it. They go to the headquarters of the oil company, where he spots Dallas Miles, and knows she is the only woman for him. She works for the oil company, and is in charge of the cleanup. Will they be able to work together to save their beloved ocean?
This is the fourth book in the Masters of the Deep series, and it is just getting better with each book. Delta James and Felicity Brandon together are a thing of beauty, and this series, as campy as it first sounded, is delicious. The five Heroes are loners until they meet their women, who are feisty, independent and self sufficient. Eli Green, the bad guy, is still around, and the overarching story keeps getting deeper. Because of the story line running through the series, the books are best if read in order. So worth the one click, I give this one five stars.

I’m used to reading about an assortment of shifters - wolves, bears, lions, dragons, panthers, even the occasional fox - but I wasn’t sure about sharks when I began this series. Well, I’m here to tell you that Delta James can make even sharks into compelling, sexy, loving heroes. And I love that her heroines are always strong, smart, and more than able to hold their own with their dominant mates.
In Wicked Predator, shark shifter Logan discovers an oil spill while on patrol and Dallas, an environmentalist who works for the oil company responsible for the damage, is in charge of cleaning it up. But as the two work together, it becomes apparent something much more dangerous than just a simple industrial accident is going on. Logan and Dallas are well matched - both are avid protectors of the ocean and their personal connection is sizzling. The plot keeps your interest and the developing relationship between Logan and Dallas keeps you turning the pages. While the book is part of an ongoing storyline in the Masters of the Deep series, it can easily be enjoyed as a standalone.

I loved this addition to the series. In this one a foul oil leak Logan finds polluting the ocean and the ecologists Dallas who works on the oil rig are trying to find the reason behind it. I love the way the entire group guys and gals work together for the same and come together as family.
The chemistry between Logan and Dallas' is intense and steamy from the very beginning of their encounter at the bar . It was absolutely one of the honest romances in this series. There is so much happening in this book full of action, danger, suspense, and intrigue. Dallas seamlessly fit in with the rest of the team, it seemed as if they had known each other much longer. A lot of a D/s relationship is revealed between Logan and Dallas, he was immediately drawn to Dallas as each to the other SEAL'S were of their SO's. A wonderful read but the best way to get a full enjoyment is to read the series in order.

I've come to learn that everytime I pick up a novel by Delta James I won't be disappointed one bit, maybe in this scenario with shark shifters I should say one bite. I will admit the idea of shark shifters didn't quite hold the same sort of interest but that's because to me they don't quite hold the same sexy intrigue as other animals, but deep down I was rather surprised by how well the authors really sold this idea. As usual such incredibly likeable characters with the usual racy and sexy D/s relationships to get lost in. Great balance of romance, mystery, corruption and just wonderful action between two characters.
This story is part of an over-riding theme involving shark shifters but can be read as a standalone story, but once you're caught up in this type of story you'll be dying to read about the other shifter couples in the series.

This is the 4th book in the Masters of the Deep series, and the series is becoming more intriguing then before! There is more espionage is being uncovered by the team and they are slowly but surely uncovering who is responsible but the question remains, WHY? This is Logan and Dallas's story. Logan discovers an oil spill in the ocean when he was returning from his patrol. Dallas is the chief environmentalist employed by the oil company responsible for the spill! When these two meet sparks fly. He believes she’s his and a sub and he’s a Dom and she’ll conform. Their story is intriguing as is the oil spill. There is more to it, why is Green involved? What will happen next in this beautifully written book? Looking forward to Nash’s story when I’m sure all will be revealed!! Thank you ladies for a very intriguing series!.

Five Brave men, who have the ability to shift into sharks, have devoted their lives to protecting the USS Kracken, a sunken sub in the Sea of Cortez. Logan is one of these men.

Dallas is working for an oil company as their chief environmental cleanup person. At the moment she is enraged by the leaking oil spill that needs to be closely monitored. That evening, she goes to a bar and meets Logan. She is an experienced submissive; he is a strong, alpha Dom. Together they are charmed and fascinated by their immediate attraction. Their encounters are beautifully sensual.

Despite a corrupt CEO and a wealthy and powerful donor, Logan and Dallas are both determined to protect the USS Kracken and to save the ocean from the oil spill polluting its waters.

I highly recommend this compelling story of five brave men and the women who help them accomplish their goals.

Wicked Predator is the fourth installment of a series of interconnected stand alone books. As is usual with these two authors, this book (and the entire series) is very well written. The plot flows smoothly, the world building is distinct, and the characters are believable. The main characters are also very likable and interesting.

This is the story of Dallas and Logan, two people who have deep feelings for the ecology of the ocean. A large oil spill brings them together, and they join forces to reveal and make accountable those responsible. The relationship between these two is passionate and loving. I found myself cheering for both of them.

As mentioned in earlier reviews of this series, the shifter aspect of these books is quite original and imaginative. I enjoyed every page. Highly recommended.

The 4th book in this series is Logan and Dallas's story! As you can probably guess, I loved it! Logan comes upon an oil spill while out swimming in the ocean. Dallas is the chief clean up person for the oil company. When these two meet up, sparks are gonna fly. She's a sub and with him being a Dom, you just know things are gonna get heated! The story flowed so well and while this is a stand alone, I really recommend you start at the beginning because the characters are all in each of the books. These shark shifters have drawn me into their little world and I can't believe how much I really love them. And you know there is going to be danger involved. I really couldn't put the book down. I was traveling when I got this so my husband had to listen to music while I read! LOL! Such a good story and now I need Nash because I'm a little worried about him!!!

Another fantastic story in the Masters of the Deep series. Logan Knight is the Maco short fin of this 5 man Seal Unit. Things are getting deep. Dallas Miles is sent to clean up an oil slick, but all signs are pointing in the opposite direction. This book is full of danger, steam and an evil villain named Eli Green. Dallas and Logan have a steamy off the charts chemistry and Logan now protects this Smart, beautiful woman who is as tough as nails.
I can’t wait for the 5th book in this series because things are really starting to hit the fan. That doesn’t mean our group of sharks and their ladies aren’t having steamy fun times. Au countre ’, it’s in spades! Nash is next, but will he be duped or get the doctor of his dreams. I can’t wait to find out!

Dallas Miles is an environmentalist who works for an oil company who has had a oil spill in the Sea of Cortez. Logan is a Shortfin Mako shark shifter who crosses paths with Dallas and the attraction is instant. As their relationship grows so does the problem with the oil spill. There are outside forces at work to keep the oil spill from being cleaned up and want to blame Dallas for the mishap. Logan and the team must move to protect not only the girls but themselves from harm as Mr. Green has plans that they are impeding. Overall, this was a fast read but I have struggled with reading this series. It's an evolving storyline but each book just feels unfinished and you left with more questions than answers. Hopefully, the final book will be different.

What a fabulous story. Logan is introduced right at the very beginning when he’s on patrol in his shifter form and comes across a very dangerous oil slick. Dallas is the troubleshooter appointed to find out exactly what has happened on the Rig that has the problem. It isn’t too long before their paths cross and they both know that there’s a mutual spark between them. Great story with lots of nefarious goings on, the odious Eli Green made my blood boil, he really is a nasty piece of work. Loved the way the girls and boys from the other stories all interact with each other and I’m really looking forward to Nash’s story.

The suspense grows!

Wow! This series just keeps getting better and bette. Dallas and Logan’s story is a great one. There instant connection is a steamy and romantic one,. They know from the the first time they meet, that they are meant to be together. The storyline of this book is a great one. A die hard environmentalist trying to stop an oil spill…an oil spill that started under suspicious circumstances. The suspense of the story melds well into the overarching suspense that has been frowning from book to book. I am excited to see how these two authors bring everything together in the last book of this series. Loved this story!.

This is a good fourth installment in this series where another seal shark finds his mate. Logan and Dallas are a great match and I love how their dynamic was realistic and consensual even if it was instant love. I was really hoping for the rest of the shark shifter story to move along in this book like it had developed in prior books. This one seemed to focus on the oil spill but nothing was resolved and everything about the admirals death from the last book is still up in the air as well. I’m hoping the next one will wrap everything up, as of right now there are a lot of loose ends. It’s starting to feel drug out with the lack of action in finding answers to questions that came up in the first book.

I loved this latest story in the Masters of the Deep series. I have been a fan of this series since the beginning and it just keeps getting better and better. I can't wait for the next story to see what happens next to this group. Logan is taking a swim when he discovers an oil spill. He is furious about this. Dallas is an environmentalist who works for an oil company. She is sent to clean up the spill but things is not going as she would like. She meets Logan one night and they have an instant connection. Some other things are going on as well. Will they be able to figure out what is going on?

Wicked Predator by Felicity Brandon and Delta James is the story of Logan and Dallas. He’s a shark shifter who, along with his comrades, protects…unknown to others. She is a fierce protector of the ocean and responsible for the cleanup of a massive spill. Together, they can accomplish much….if they can get past everything else!!!

Enjoyable, exciting story….with a lot of smack….great read!!!! The characters are strong, determined, and fiercely protective of loved ones!!! Plenty of intrigue and heat!!

Logan meets Dallas and he falls quickly. He mercilessly teased the other members of the team when they found their mates, so he was ready for their teasing. Logan helps Dallas when she gets in over her head with Mr. Green and the company that she works for. He brings in the rest of the team and, of course, their ladies. Dallas fits in with them and quickly becomes one of the group while trying to save her reputation. I can't wait for the last book with Nash's story and the conclusion of the mystery.

I received an advance copy and this is my honest review.

Logan and Dallas’s story doesn’t disappoint. With each book your learn a little more about the sharks , their ladies and the mysterious sub and city they protect. Logan and Dallas make the perfect pair both strong personalities on their own together they are unstoppable as they try and figure the oil spill and what caused it. As they work with their friends to try and unravel this latest clue to what’s actually going on and who is responsible makes for a great read. Can’t wait for Nash and Sydney!

This is book 4 in Masters of the Deep series by author duo Felicity Brandon and Delta James. This is a paranormal, shifter romance that I have found pretty unique. This is Logan's story where he is instantly captivated by Dallas. This story is better read when read in series order as they all interconnect even with the individual romance storylines - can be read as a stand lone but again better in series order...
