Missing dogs and stressed-out brides are not the only thing on Felicity’s mind – tonight is the deadline for the palace to announce who has been given the contract for the forthcoming royal wedding.

Felicity knows in her heart she is going to get it, but until she gets that phone call …

Get ready for high drama and high jinks – it’s wedding time again!

'I honestly don't know how he not only keeps turning out great books, but does so across multiple series at the same time! Everything I have read by Steve Higgs stands alone as utterly unique, outrageously funny, and so thrilling I need to lie down when I get to the end.'

Let's start this off with an invitation to get some FREE books. No, you didn't read that wrong, we are talking about multiple free books. I love giving away free books because once people delve into the fast-paced mystery thrills I write, they go on to buy lots more.

All I need from you is an email address to send them to. Here's the link you need - https://mailchi.mp/fd47a6eb4ae5/patri...

When I wrote my first novel, Paranormal Nonsense, I was a Captain in the British Army. I would love to pretend that I had one of those careers that has to be redacted and in general denied by the government and that I have had to change my name and continually move about because I am still on the watch list in several countries. In truth though, I started out as a mechanic. Not like Jason Statham, sneaking about as a contract killer, more like one of those greasy gits that charge you a fortune and keep your car for a week when all you went in for was a squeaky door hinge.

At school, I was mostly disinterested in every subject except creative writing, for which, at age ten, I won my first award. However, calling it my first award suggests that there have been more, which there have not. Accolades may come but, in the meantime, I am having a ball writing mystery stories and crime thrillers and will claim to have more than a hundred books forming an unruly queue in my head as they clamor to get out.

Now retired from the military, I live in the south-east corner of England with a pair of lazy sausage dogs. Surrounded by rolling hills, brooding castles, and vineyards, I doubt I will ever leave, the beer is just too good.

This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable.
Great suspense and found myself second guessing every thought I had continuously.
Can't wait to read what the author brings out next.
Recommend reading.

I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.

Felicity is in the middle of arranging another beautiful wedding when the brides prized Pomeranian dog , who was to be ring bearer goes missing. Bridesmaids are given laxatives and more chaos than felicity needs Devil Dog is on the case along with a couple of friends. Rex, from the Albert and Rex books, helps Buster to search for the missing pup and the usual hilarity ensues. Steve Higgs has scored another winner. His characters are so believable and you lose yourself in the story. I hate coming to the end of each book. Treat yourselves to a copy. You’ll be instantly hooked on Steve Higgs work.

I loved this book. Felicity Phillips and this series is something that has been growing on me. With my favorite characters, Albert and Rex, added to the mix, it was a sure winner. As usual a wedding is not going according to plan. With all the animals, Buster, Amber and Rex, as well as their new pal, Lila, involved in solving the mystery, this book is a sure winner.

I received an arc copy of the book in return for an honest review. P.S. - Amazon censors - this is NOT a promotion. It merely explains why I do not show as a verified purchaser. Get a grip on your “Community Rules” and be sensible.

Finished the 5 book series! This one was the most interesting as the author was able to weave the storyline with books in Steve's Arsenial! He made comments about a future wedding that Patricia Fisher was setting up on the Cruise Ship series. Had Albert Smith and his dog, Rex Harrison staying at the same hotel as the wedding Felicity Philips was planning. Also was setting up the New Series Steve was planning for Mike Atwell to leave the police force! All this was rolled up in a nice bridging episode! Can't wait to see which series I'm going to go for after this one!
Not sure if this is a "spoiler" as I'm NOT going into any details of who does what!

Thoroughly enjoyed my advanced copy of this book , what can I say? It surpasses all other books that conflab across Mr. Higgs book series without too much confusion of who the characters are along with being a great Felicity Phillips wedding fiasco book , it has fun , there’s drama ,it’s a page turner it’s imaginative,it’s awe inspiring…it’s too much I know but I really couldn’t get get enough , the characters knitted together from across his series books seamlessly . I’d happily read it again if I hadn’t got Pets investigate lined up ready to read

What happened to the ring bearer?
People who have pets know that the love we have for them is just as strong as for any child or loved one. But the amount of dirty deeds being done to stop this wedding points to any number of possible suspects. I love the way characters are merged from other series and the interactions into the timeline of this story shows an amazing talent for complexity that very few authors can safely manage. Some bits had me bursting out in laughter! Other parts had me holding my breath! Brilliant work!

Wedding Ceremony Woes

I got my wish! Almost anyway! In my review of Patricia Fisher's Four Ex-Wives & A Wedding last night I wished to someday see a novel with Mr. Higgs' characters from all his related stories working together! I only wish I'd I've found this book as I finished it's complimentary Albert & Red book! Still, I remembered enough that I wasn't thrown by the time difference! It was good to see Rex & Buster teaming up. Even better to see Buster & Amber working together! If only people could do that!!

Uproariously funny!

Readers will enjoy one of the wildest weddings on record with Felicity & Albert and their pets right in the thick of things. Felicity gained a reputation as being one of the best "wedding planners to the stars", but a string of bad luck is ruining her track record and there is a lot at stake with this
event. Enjoy the unraveling of this baffling mystery with your favorite characters and friends when it becomes clear this wedding is going to the dogs.

Hilarious entry in this series, improved with the appearance of Albert and Rex Harrison from another of Mr. Higgs' series. I suspected the culprit well before the reveal, but it was good anyway. I loved the interaction between Rex, Buster and Amber. I wish that Albert had discovered Felicity's ability to talk to Buster and Amber; that could have led to an interesting exchange with Rex. But since I'm not the author I'll have to be content with the regular stories. Recommended.

Not my favorite

Very busy story with way too much of Rex and Mr Smith, assuming the reader knew the characters. Not enough of the story dedicated to the wedding party dynamics so it was hard to care about the bride, her angry sister, etc.... kudos to not letting Felicity get the Royal wedding gig. She's really a walking disaster. I adore Patricia but this is the last one of this series for me.

If you want a laugh out loud book to read with a bit of mystery thrown in, this is the book for you. Hysterically funny and completely off the wall - being able to have a conversation with your pets is an unusual concept but can lead to all sorts of weird scenarios.

Steve Higgs has done it again - a cosy mystery with laughs on every page.

Another wonderful quirky story from Steve Higgs! Felicity is on the job at the latest wedding when the bride’s dog goes missing. Rex and Albert make an appearance in this story. The mystery, fun, and characters are all wonderful and bring another case to the finish. I received an ARC and this is my honest opinion.

I read this story because it was alluded to at the end of the Albert and Rex story. I felt I needed to know what happened to them before they go off to Cornwall. I had res a short story with Buster and Amber so knew somewhat what to expect. It was a decent story with enough about Albert and Rex to keep me satisfied. Not sure if I'll read more of this series though.

Oh my goodness,  this is the best Felicity story yet! I absolutely love the folks from other Higgs books converging into other series and this one is the best so far! The dogs, the cat! And here's to Super Hero Names!
What fun!! A must read.

Again, well done, You

Multiple laugh out louds and grins. Enough that my husband is questioning my sanity. I love the intertwining of characters, both human and furry. My one disappointment was Buster & Amber not validating their human's special powers to Rex.

wedding Ceremony Woes

A missing dog, ruined meat, sick bridesmaids. The dogs at the wedding and one cat. Rex and Albert are staying at this hotel as that wedding . Rex, Buster, Lila, and Amber are on the job to find the saboteur. Well done!

Or should I say upstage the bride?! I love how Steve Higgs has me chuckling out loud as he weaves not only our favorite characters together, but their pets as well.

Entertaining always. Like how pets are most of story people woven around. It is nice to see fav characters meeting up in crossover story. Rex came up with his own super hero name! I still would like to see the detective who upped Quinn with Felicity. Cannot see Vince just my taste.

From a missing Pomeranian and a haughty Doberman this book is taken over by the four legged characters as Buster heads up the search for the missing pooch who is supposed to be in the wedding party.

This story has crossover characters from other Steve Highs storylines which makes the reader want to check out other Higgs books. Devil Dog adds more canines to his crime fighting group!

SuperDogs to the rescue!

Loved it. Poor Felicity! Buster, Rex Lila and Amber were gems in this one! Wanted to beat up that Doberman myself. And I would love to meet both Vince and or Mike Atwell. Both are worth multiple looks. Gimme more please!

Who knows where the little toy dog has gotten to?

Can Felicity Phillips, THE Wedding Planner To The Stars, finally catch a break without any dead bodies showing up to derail yet another wedding venue?

Weddings are supposed to be nice, not raining dogs and cat ..

This was not the way a wedding should look like. But then when you add in a lot of doggies , a kitty and mayhem is going to happen.

Another fabulous mystery by Steve Higgs. I love that there is humor and lots of suspense and twists. The pets and their ability to talk and argue with each other and Felicity is hysterical. The Felicity Phillips series is delightful.
