After a days-long meteor storm, superpowers emerge, creating more villains than heroes. One man will learn how to unlock the powers of a small group of women and restore justice for all.
Toby Drake is faced with a crisis of conscience when a beautiful woman shows up on his doorstep, battered, bloodied and on run from a superpowered thug. Trained as an engineer prior to The Storm, Toby makes a living fixing other people’s broken electronics, hardly something that has prepared him to go up against a super. He quickly discovers that it’s one thing to hear about villains doing bad things, but another thing entirely to come face-to-face with them.
Not thinking twice, Toby does the right thing and gives shelter to an embattled woman, and the two end up hiding in an old mechanic’s shop that used to belong to Toby’s family. It’s in this shop that Toby is exposed to an unburied meteorite and is powered up with an unusual superpower – the ability to unlock and supercharge the powers of others.
What Toby doesn’t understand, however, is that his new superpower comes with an unusual side-effect, which is he ends up bonding with the women he powers up and mortal enemies of the villains he touches.

I don't even know where to start... It's just bad all around. Cringe characters with dialogue out of 70's porno. It's just lame... Like zero effort put into making a story with believable characters.
While a harem is wish fulfillment, the novel has a little too much of everything good falling into the main characters lap. Apocalypse kills 80% of the world population? But renters are still getting evicted from half-full apartment complexes for lack of funds. The main character is dense at romantic signals but has had plenty of past girlfriends. The downtown area of city is abandoned due to the collapse of large buildings, but every few blocks has a mechanics shop or junkyard or laboratory.
The harem includes every female in the story.
The main character has no combat super power, but overcomes other bad supers with a little technology, a lot of healing, and the ability to remove superpowers by touch
Read for the fun, but do not look for much realism
The story was simple, but fun and easy to follow. The MC is likable and his understanding of machines and computers added to the plot of the story. His harem seems rushed but made sense in the context of the story. I would read book 2.
In this book, you'll find: - Nice guys get the girls - "I can fix her" -
None of which are tropes I particularly like, but some people do. Still, it worked out well and made for an easy read. The only point I'd make is that it would have benefited from a stronger plot. If events that happened at the end had been anticipated a little, I think it would have been even better.
Good concept for world building, but room for improvement in other aspects.
Most of the world’s population died out after a meteor storm hit Earth. Some survivors gained super powers after the events. A hero organization took control of the lawless world. Toby Drake gained the ability to supercharge powers, but also bonds women to him.
The summary of the book mentions the meteor creates more super villains than super heroes. Yet, only one true super villain has appeared, and the rest are super “heroes.” Would love to see the world be explored more, but it is not. For the most part of the story, the main character and his harem are either building equipment or having sex. Which, the sex scenes and dialogue are awkward, or cringy would be a better description.
The story was mostly good, when Toby’s crew was dealing with low level supers. However, they had to deal with a high level super, abruptly. There was no progression with level of difficulty. Which, the last fight became anti-climatic.
If the author had cut down the sex scenes and added character development, it would have improved the story.
that being said the dystopia Adventure is full of action intriguing situations and a whole lot of thought went into the characters personalities and the World building. on one side there's a sweet romance and then on the other side there's hot passion as well. this I feel does not take away from the story it shows the real feelings that they have him and his girls for each other. that being said I guess you realize this is a harem as well but it's well done and interesting. our main character is very smart but not without his own shortcomings which make him an all-around figure in my opinion.this story has an interesting ending as well as an open end for continuing Adventures only time will tell. this author writes very well in my opinion and it keeps me entertained I can see the scenes going on in my mind's eye as I read. I am looking forward to more stories in this world that the author has opened.
Right off the bat the author sounds like he doesn't understand women at all. Women are gushing over minor acts of kindness and any nsfw content feels like it's been written by a teenager with a medical text book. Thankfully this becomes less and less common as the story continues.
That being said, the world itself is interesting, the powers are thought out and explained, and the story itself has a satisfying plot. The book really gets going around halfway and I enjoyed the trip by the end. I don't know if I would recommend this series to fans of the genre but I will likely be continuing it once book 2 is released.
Good new series start. Obviously this is a harem novel and sexy time is expected and encouraged however the premise in this series is good. The MC is a good guy i. Most aspects though i don't like his no kill policy as letting bad people go will cost others lives later. That said i love the Mechanic and his powers. Obviously not totally original still very enjoyable to read. Mr fix it for a broken world. Looking forward to Toby rocking even more.of this post meteor swarm world in the next book.
The main reason I purchased this book is because the main character had a superpower that I felt would be the best superpower ever and he was able to fully make use of the power eventually The other smaller side powers he had also really helps smooth everything out I was entertained throughout the book but I feel the main problem the author will have in the future is the size of the harem and the main characters' ability to keep up with that many women. There isn't much else I can say without ruining the plot.
Great story one.of.the best superhero ones I have read until the author ruined the ending. Describing sex with a fifty year old woman who is out of shape is not interesting for most people. There are women in their fifths with gorgeous bodies and you would.think a superhero story would be that. Plus way it ended was creepy. The woman contacting Angel like that would have been red flags for me. Great book bad ending.
A predictable and formulaic narrative frames inconsistent tone, pacing, world building, and abilities. One of the villains gets three different power sets during the story. The technical aspects do not work as described. No reason is given for communication to crash but power to work. The pornographic passages disrupt the pacing and tone of the story. As smut, it is high quality. As a novel it rarely rises to mediocre.
I enjoyed this book but have 1 gripe that annoyed me. The MC is very against killing even to the point that he literally leaves his enemies alive to come back against him. On top of that he believes in living in the moment which means not planning ahead to expected things and instead only reacting to things. The characters, world, R rated stuff, ect we're all good but that one thing really annoyed me.
I had a good time reading this book. The story is unique. The almost apocalypse gave some of the survivors superpowers. Civilization remains, but is kinda hanging on by its fingernails. The MC is well written and the relationships, while a little fast for my tastes are good.
And Toby Drake is not one of them. A normal with a unique mind. Then one touch of a meteor and things take off. And when a brother of a dead super comes around things get complicated. A good bit of fun with a lot of action in and out of the bedroom. Follow the adventure and see where Toby and his harem end up.
The direct description's wth fast naritive kept interest which lept to climaces of intrege, sensule and adventure. The definions of carictures mind body and sole turned the pages endlesly. A couple of spots a bit disjointed but more likely me page turning to quick! Enjoyed and will search for the next book. Thanks for the read.
This is a really well done superhero story. We get just enough origin story so you know how powers developed without unnecessary details. Our MC is a reasonable guy that just wants to be left alone and avoids killing.
Don't know if the author left room to continue this story but I want more. I was expecting your run of the mill Marvel superteam but with sex. Nooo this story is sooo much better.
Potentially great story with a truly new power concept. To bad it's brought down by repetitive and boring erotic sections. Erotic scenes are like salt, sugar and spice, a little bit is a good thing but its easy to spoil the flavor with too much.
An excellent super powers book!!! For the first book in a new series some very good editing and world development!!! All of the adult fantasy activities was very enjoyable!! I can't wait to see what happens next to MC and his women!!!
Interesting take on the are superheroes evil if given to much power and can one nerd balance that by fixing broken super girls, it would be a tad easy to say its like fantastic four but with women and sexy funtimes.
This leans into all the hero cliches. Hard. All the women are gorgeous and end up in the harem, all the men are villains. There is no story, there is a lack of any real characters, this reads like a caricature of a harem book. It is that bad.
The book is written in first person singular, so it's like reading someone's diary. If the best you can come up with is "Super Force" don't bother writing.
Great twist on the genre Loved the characters and the authors appreciation of women in all shapes and sizes. If u love this type of novels this is a solid addition to its ranks Obi
This is a fine adult super hero harem fantasy adventure novel. It is well written and edited. I especially like Ink character. I anxiously await the sequel.
