I believe this book does provide some useful spell castings but like a previous reviewer mentioned. The author refers to things in the book that simply are not there. For example, there is a section in the book that has spells for legal issues. One of the spells calls for Just Judge Oil but the recipe is not in the oils section. Still, I think the book has enough substance for an novice witch who doesn't mind doing the extra leg work to find out experiment with their own oil blend or even reference another book.
