Sweet story of instant love, and finding their happily ever after.
This story was well written, the characters were loveable in their own way, and some scenes were spicy. Ren and Savannah were a cute couple with an attraction that was quick and off the charts.

Ren falls head over ass, completely and utterly in love with his Feisty! A hilarious, sexy instalove that needs no help from the town matchmakers, the thought of Ren polishing nails or hunching over on the small pedicure stool - especially whilst trying to reign his dirty thoughts and wayward body in had me in stitches.
A lovely crossover to other Kat Baxter books too, I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.

Ren meets Savannah when he comes to her home to watch over her. Her brother Luca, Snowed In with the Grump Ren's boss asks him to go watch over her because of a mafia's son who could be living right across from her. Savannah comes home to find Ren in her home, she owns the hair salon right in front of her home. Savannah's grandmother gave the salon to her. The house their grandmother gave to her brother but Luca lets Savannah live there. Savannah tries to hit Ren with a bowling pin but he grabs her, he tells her her brother sent him. When her phone rings it's her brother and Luca tells her he sent Ren to watch over her. Luca wants Ren to blend in so he tells Savannah to train him to be a manicurist. Savannah and Ren head to the grocery store to get some food, but then they run into some of the blue haired ladies group. They want to know if Savannah is dating Ren so she tells them yes. They soon head home and get ready for bed, Savannah tells Ren the next day she'll start to train him. The next day Savannah gets ready and heads to her kitchen but she runs right into Ren. His towel came undone and he doesn't want to let Savannah go, she tells him she'll just turn around and head into the kitchen. Before she gets to the kitchen she takes a sneak peak. They get started, Ren is trying to paint Savannah's nails but he is terrible at it. Next they head to the salon and she tries to get him to wash her hair but he gets water everywhere, Savannah is soaked. Next Savannah leads him over to the pedicure chair and has him message her, she gets so lost in what he's doing she moans. Savannah tells Ren she knows he's not attracted to her, but he tells her he is attracted to her. Ren lets Savannah know that her brother, Luca let him know he'll kill him if he touches her. Savannah lets Ren know that her brother doesn't have a say in who she dates. Soon Ren is sliding his hands up her legs then he pleasures her then they make love. Ren figures out that Savannah was a virgin and wants to know why she didn't tells him. Savannah tells him she didn't want him to know. Ren tells her he needs to go get a few things, after he leaves he calls his sister, Paige Romancing the Mountain Man and asks her for advice. Ren's sister Paige tells him to go back and apologies to Savannah and tells her how he feels. Savannah draws a bath and is soaking in the tub when Ren comes back and finds her. He comes back and apologies to her then he pleasures her once again. Soon he picks her up and carries her to her bed, then they talk about their future. Ren tells her to get some rest and the spoon and fall asleep. The next morning they wake up hearing Luca voice. Luca wants to know what part of off limits his sister is that he doesn't understand. Savannah wakes and tells her brother to get out of her bedroom, they'll be out in the living room so they can talk about this like adults. When Ren comes out he tells Luca he has one shot to hit him, so he does. Ren lets Luca know he quit the FBI so that he can work for his brother, they do Internet security. Ren tells Luca he's in love with Savannah and wants to marry her and have a family. Savannah tells Luca that she loves Ren too, and he makes her happy. Luca stands and puts his hand out for Ren to shake it, but he tells him if he ever hurts Savannah he'll hunt him down. A week later, Luca walks Savannah down the aisle so that she can marry Ren. Ren's brother and sister and there as well Savannah's friends Jackie Snowed In with the Grump and Harper Lone Star Best Friend.

Savannah is happy with her life in her hometown of saddle creek, she had never had the desire to leave and go to college or be like her big brother a big shot within the FBI, she was happy running the salon her grandmother had passed to her. There was only one thing missing in her life and that was a man to love and even though her customers kept trying to set her up on dates that she refused she was hoping to one day find Mr. Right, but she wasn’t expecting him to be in her home when she got back from work and to have been sent by her brother to keep her safe, she had the weekend to teach the man of her dreams how to paint nails and not fall in love with him, there was no way a man who looked like him and was an FBI Agent would want to be with a curvy girl like her or were those looks he was giving her be something way more?

Ren was in shock the day that his boss pulled him into his office and asked him for a favor, one that he knew he couldn’t refuse well not unless he wanted to spend the rest of his career behind a desk but when he asked him to pose as a manicurist at his little sisters salon in Saddle Creek, there was no way that he was ever going to blend in at a salon but he has little choice but to do as ordered. What he never saw coming was Savanah she is everything that he has ever wanted and the perfect package, but he is there to do a job, will he be able to keep Vannah safe and show her that what they are sharing is real and how will her brother react after he pronounced his sister as off limits?

I really really loved Savannah she was absolutely adorable with her rambling on meeting Ren and as a couple they just belonged together from the very beginning. This is a fab multi author series and I want to read more about Saddle Creek. Highly recommended 4.2* short read.

Feisty Pants, Buns of Steel, and Princess Furry-Butt

Getting Handsy With the Manicurist by Kat Baxter is part of the multi-author Pink Collar Temp Agency series. I really enjoyed this story about Savannah Daniels and Ren Tucker. Ren is an FBI agent in the Oklahoma City office who has been breaking the all the rules. He is about to be asked by his boss to break a very big one, but also to follow a very important one. Luca Daniels wants Ren to go to the small town of Saddle Creek, Texas and watch over his younger sister, Savannah because of the possibility of a very dangerous man hiding in town. Savannah grew up in Saddle Creek and when her grandmother passed she inherited the hair salon, while Luca inherited the house in the back. Savannah inherited a lot more than just the salon as she also got the "blue haired ladies" club who watch over her, trying to set her up with all sorts of relations. So when the latest set-up is proposed Savannah tells a little lie....she is seeing someone from the internet. In walk the tall, built and dreamy Ren who shows up to pretend to be a manicurist. The man may not be able to polish nails but he sure knows what to do with his hands. But with Savannah "off limits" according to Luca at least, Ren is about to break the biggest rule of all to get the woman of his dreams and the love of his life.

For me Kat Baxter wrote a wonderful story with this book. I loved how feisty Savannah is and just how much Ren falls for her, which includes that feistiness. I loved the great mix of humor, drama, romance, OTT insta-love, friends, family, and scorching hot passion. I would definitely RECOMMEND this book to other readers, whether you are already a fan of Kat Baxter or just looking to add a new author to your list. Happy Reading!!!

Plot: Ren's boss at the FBI tasks him to watch his sister when some criminals move in across the street from her salon. His cover is to be the new manicurist, but he finds he isn't really suited to that job. What he is suited to is loving Savannah, the sister that his boss has declared off-limits.

Commentary: Silly but a quick read. There's no way anyone would ever send this large FBI agent into a salon as a manicurist (nail tech) - at the very least, that's a job that requires training to be able to do it well. And in a small town, that sort of hire would attract so much attention. But the confrontation between the brother and the hero was actually satisfying. The heroine stood up for herself and the hero let the brother punch him once for free.

Instalove

This book was a short, instalove read. The author, Kat Baxter, did a great job of writing a short, concise story of love. The main couple were perfect for each other.
Ren is an FBI agent, on desk duty, due to him not following the rules. His supervisor assigns him to protect the supervisor’s sister, with instructions that she is hands-off.
Savannah is a salon owner, who is very well liked by her patrons. She is curvy, but is ok with her look. When she goes home one night, she fines Ren in her house, and there is immediate attraction between them, but her insecurities don’t allow her to believe those feelings. Ren falls in love with her the minute that her sees her.
He attempts to learn the trades of the salon, with impressive uselessness. While at the salon things heat up, and they end up having a misunderstanding. He goes to Savannah’s house, and apologizes, and this leads to more relationships between them.
Her brother catches them in bed, and causes a ruckus, but Ren and Savannah make him understand their true feelings of love.
The book ends in a beautiful epilogue full of romance.

A pedicure with Ren, please!

Hold on to your hats, people. This is instalove on steroids and it is 🔥🔥🔥 HOT! 🔥🔥🔥 Ren and Savanna’s meet-cute is epic and it only gets better from there.

Savanna’s confidence in herself, her body and her business is $exy as heck! Ren responds to that confidence and her sassiness immediately. And by immediately, I mean immediately immediately. 😉 Ren is not too shabby himself and one duck under a flying bowling pin later, Ren knows this woman is his. Now he just needs to convince the Feisty One.

You will laugh and smile in every part of this book. You will also never look at the pedicure chair the same way again. These two light the sky up with the heat and steam and love sizzling between them.

I also enjoyed the connections these characters have with other Kat Baxter books/characters. You’ll get to hear from or about past characters and meet future stars of Kat’s imagination (they’d better be, anyway…lol).

GETTING HANDSY WITH THE MANICURIST: A Forbidden Love/ Curvy Girl Romance/Short Story by Kat Baxter. An FBI agent was sent on a mission to stay at his boss's sister's side to protect her at all times. Her name is Savannah Daniels & the owner of a salon in her hometown of Saddle Creek, Texas. Her older brother is very adamant that his agent, Ren Turner, could stay at his sister's home in the extra bedroom, but his baby sister was off limits. He's to go undercover at her salon as a manicurist. Ren is six foot, 3 inches tall and not going to be able to do nails or not much else in the salon. They decide he will just be her “pretend” boyfriend. That is a job he is so good at that he doesn't even need to sleep in the other bedroom. His kisses alone turn her into goo! She had been living alone with just her cat who has a name of Princess Furry-Butt. That name alone had me laughing. By the time her not too pleased brother shows up, they are madly in love!

Super quick and hot read! Standalone novella, but if you're a fan of Baxter, you'll recognize a couple of stories mentioned in here. Like Ren is Paige's younger FBI brother (from the romance author retreat series) and the setting is the same town as her current series following the Crawfords (the Ex-Con book recently out). Ren is sent to protect his boss's sister when news comes that a known criminal is across the street. Another team is there to take him down, but his boss wants to know she's safe. And sends strict orders that she's off limits. An order neither can follow as soon as they see each other. And, even though the story is fast, he still has a chance to screw up, but he fixes it quickly. Great novella!

I really liked this short story. It was super cute, entertaining, and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. Luca was a great brother even if he was overprotective. Ren and Savannah met after he was sent by Luca to look out for Savannah. Savannah wasn't aware that Ren was coming out to stay with her so she was quite shocked. Ren knew that he was in trouble as soon as he saw Savannah's picture but once they met, he knew he was going to keep her. There was some miscommunication that Ren made sure to clear up. Ren was super sweet, protective, and caring. Savannah was no slouch either since she was protective too! I liked their happily ever after but I do wish there was an epilogue further out. I recommend reading this book.

As always with Kat Baxter books, this one is all the feels and tons of fun!! Ren and Savannah are a feisty match made in FBI heaven. Ren is sent to pose as a manicurist to keep an eye on crazy happenings across the street from his boss’ sister. Savannah is all Ren has ever wanted in a woman but he’s going to have to work to win her over. She thinks his flirting is a force of habit and not actual attraction. She’s an incredibly feisty character that brought a lot of fun to this story. There is plenty of steam in this book too. These two can’t keep their hands off each other and a punch in the face is worth being together. Ren messes things up a little bit but being the swoon worthy character he is, he admits it and fixes it. This was a fun book to read from start to finish so I highly recommend it.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Getting handsy with the manicurist is a novella in the ‘’pink collar temp agency’’ collection.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Ren is an FBI agent sent on an assignment as a manicurist. With Savannah being his boss’s sister he tries hard to resist her but will it last?
The chemistry between Ren and Savannah is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read.

This book is a part of the Pink Collar Temp Agency and focuses on Ren and Savannah. Ren is an FBI agent who is on the last few weeks of desk duty when he is sent on an unofficial job to look after his supervisor's sister. He isn’t happy about having to go undercover at a salon but his opinion changes instantly when he first sets eyes on Savannah. He knows that she is his when they first meet. They have some communication issues but Ren knows that Savannah is his woman and he knows that he will do whatever he has to do to keep her forever. This was such a great story and a great addition to the series.

This was very funny but good. I love that Ren saw how special Savannah was. Her insecurities about her weight made her think Ren was not into her. But he proved to her just how much he wanted her. I actually found out about this book after I read “Snowed in with the Grump,” about Luca, Savannah’s brother and Jackie, Savannah’s coworker and friend. And then reading this book I found out Ren is Paige’s younger brother. Paige has her own book “Romancing the Mountain Man” I believe that’s the title. Now I am going to read after this, about Ren and Paige brother. Boy Kat Baxter keeps me on my toes. Good read.

This was an amazing forbidden love romance. It was probably my favorite book by Kat Baxter, it was just both so funny and deliciously steamy. I loved how this story was connected to so many of her other books in such a natural way. The chemistry between Ren and Savannah was off the charts and I loved their meet cute. The only negative thing I have to say about this story was that it ended and I wanted more.

Ren and Savannah: oh my these two are steamy together. This is a super hot, instalove novella. The dirty talking game in this story is sky high, with both characters joining in the fun. And it’s filled with Kat’s signature sense of humor, so be careful drinking hot coffee while reading this book, if you don’t want to laugh snort it out your nose.
This story has ties to Lone Star Ex-Con, taking place in the same small town, and to Romancing the Mountain Man, as Paige from that story is Ren’s older sister.

Even though this is an instalove story about Ren and Savannah you won’t be able to stop yourself from falling in love with Ren. He is over six feet of gorgeous man with a personality to match. Ren has been tasked to go undercover as a manicurist at his bosses sisters salon in a small town in Texas. The moment he lays eyes on the curvy Savannah, he's a goner.

Savannah takes one look at Ren and knows noone will believe he's a manicurist and wants nothing to do with this plan.

This quick instalove read was pretty steamy and adorable. A nice light read when you want something short and sweet.

I had to laugh that of course a guy would think that being a manicurist isn't that hard to fake. Great story. I loved the chemistry between Ren and Savannah. I was surprised that she didn't ask for more details about what Ren was protecting her from (and that went away very quickly) but it was a great, fun read.

A very entertaining read and a great addition to the series. Ren is an FBI agent currently on desk duty who has been sent to keep an eye on a criminal who is working across the street from the sister of Ren's boss. He needs to go undercover as a manicurist in Savannah's salon. The minute Ren meets Savannah he knows the decision to leave the FBI has been made. Once he is done with this assignment he wants to stay and start a life and family with Savannah. Savannah is tired of being treated like a child by her older brother and once she finds out Ren works with her brother she lets her brother know that she is old enough to decide who she wants to love and that she chooses Ren. Quick and entertaining read with great HEA.

I liked Ren and Savannah, they were likeable characters who were not afraid of their feelings. There were funny moments, sweet moments and romantic moments in this story and plenty of chemistry. I thought the story moved along quickly but well and I enjoyed their HEA, especially Ren's brother's comment.

This was a funny, sweet, cute and steamy book. I really enjoyed Ren and Savannah were fantastic together. Ren and Savannah are instantly drawn together but there is some miscommunication between these two but Ren sets Savannah straight and won't let her get away. Insta love and attraction right from first sight. It was destiny that brought Ren and Savannah together. Even though Ren was told Savannah was off-limits he could not keep away from her, even though he didnt try to hard.
This short story will make the reader swoon and fall in love with them. To have a strong sexy FBI agent instantly fall in love with you and worship the very ground you walk on... oh my yes please

Great book

Who doesn't love a good looking FBI agent like Ren. Savannah's brother, Ren's supervisor, sent him to Texas to keep Savannah safe. Something big was happening across the street from her shop. I imagine a lot of things while reading, loved the looks they gave each other and when her brother punched Ren...ouch. Read the book to get a better feel for what happens. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have. Written by Cindy :)
