Rayne lives in the Arizona desert, free to leave her house whenever she wants, she chooses not to risk death by sweltering sun demons. Instead, she stays safely indoors with a computer and all the words she knows, slapping them together in any which way she chooses in the moment.
Often gory, sometimes erotic. She loves the limitless boundaries of writing, and tends to push them toward extreme.

This is I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE meets A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN – girl power, bitches!

You can just imagine reading this while Aretha and Annie are belting out ‘Sisters are doing it for themselves’, making Harvey Weinstein’s testicles retract with fear.

A perfect prequel to Killstreme. My heart aches for Casey and what she went through as a teenager with a dream. Once she is awakened to the vile real world, the true action begins. With plenty of gore and literally gut-wrenching payback, new heroines are born, and they fight dirty. Just wait for that curb-stomp. I can't wait to reread Killstreme! More, please, Ms. Rayne Havoc!

Great revenge story prequel.

Only Rayne can make you blush in one chapter and then have your jaw drop in the next.

Rayne makes you feel like you shouldn’t read what she’s writing but you can’t stop.

Fuck yes....... Mic drop.... First of all Rayne Havok is just bad ass and I know she was worried about this one. I really don't know why she killed this. You rule Rayne Havok you are queen of the "extreme" short story. On a side note this is my 500th rating on Goodreads and I am stoked it was a Rayne Havok book. I can enjoy Halloween now that I've had my Rayne Havok fix. Just awesome. Also I kinda went on a female author kick this month and all of ya scare the hell outta me with your brutality. So thank you all. Lindsay Crook, Ryder Kinlay, Rayne Havok, Elizabeth Bedlam. You all rule and thanks for all the awesome stories.

Fantastic. Works well as a prequel, but perfect as a stand alone. Love it in all it's squishy gross, and of course, the Havok staple - heartbreaking, goodness. Five stars.

Loved it!

I've been waiting for a new read from Rayne Havok, as I always know I'm in for an exciting adventure, full of exciting happenings. And this was true to form. Not only does it depict the awful things that happen to girls and boys growing up, even men and women, but this shows the brutal and hellish side on victims and then the wish for revenge. In this read revenge is whole heartedly served on a humongous plate. Brutal to the extreme with gruesome activities played out to seek revenge. A fantastic read, great characters, loved Brin , a true friend. Also loved how it ended. Is there more to follow of Casey and Brin? I really hope so! What a team! They make! Great story great characters. Definitely recommend.

Casey's Revenge might just be one of the rarest of things, a prequel story that surpasses the narrative it precedes. If you've read Killstreme for yourself, you know just how high a bar Rayne Havok set with that title, and how challenging it would be to do what she's done here. If Casey's Revenge isn't better, it's certainly no worse. It really just depends on what you look for in a story. For me, this had everything I'd have hoped for and more.
Packed with the brutality and violence one comes to expect from her writing along with the well-drawn characters and exceptional storytelling, we also have a heartbreaking story of innocence reclaimed and shattered.
Casey wanted a new start, at a new school with none of her previous mistakes haunting her or hanging over her head, and that's precisely what she believed she had. Prom night was the night she promised herself she would give Evan the night they both wanted. unfortunately, it turned out that Evan's wishes were altogether more terrible than she could have imagined. He didn't want sex, he wanted her to suffer, and he wasn't alone.
What could have broken her, simmered within her instead. Casey realized that revenge was the only thing that would give her back the power Evan and his friends had stolen from her. Her vengeance is brutal and perfect, directed toward vile young monsters who deserve every bit of what they receive.

Spoiler Follows:

Bonus points for the unique curb stomp that involves an altogether different head than what readers might associate with the term. Also, having one's head up someone's ass has never seemed quite so visually stimulating.

Ever wondered how Casey, Brin and Fiona got started?

Teenage girls have hopes and dreams. They think love, sex and all that is just that.. perfect.. like what you see in movies, right? But is it? Casey thinks she is living that dream but unfortunately that dream comes crashing down, HARD. Very hard.
So you have two choices, surrender to your pain or fight.
And Casey decides to fight.
And with the help of Brin, some might will not ever see daylight again. Maybe with a head up their rear end, or die with a bad taste in their mouth. Totally justified if you ask me :)

I loved Killstreme and this brutal prequel tells the story how it all started.

Rayne has done it again, being mad at the atrocities of crimes against woman that happen all the time while celebrating the revenge of the protagonists because it so rarely happens in real life. Saves me lots of money in seeing a therapist. This is so much better. And so extremely satisfying.

When you find out there is a Rayne Havok prequel to Killstreme, you stop what you are doing and you read that sweet bitch. (The book, not Rayne. She is quite lovely.)

Casey’s Vengeance is full fucking brutality. I made the mistake of reading while eating a pizza quesadilla. Don’t do that, friends. Let me lead by mistake.

Casey believes she found the perfect boyfriend in Evan. He is patient when she wants to wait until Prom night. Sadly, prom night is nothing that she thought it would be. Six months later, for Evan and three of his friends, Halloween will be their least favorite holiday.

Rayne cannot, for the life of her, write a bad book. Her characters have depth, are flawed but human, and well, kick serious ass. (Not the bad guys, they fucking suck.) Rayne singlehanded made me start loving strong female characters, I was not a fan before because they were so two dimensional.

Not at all surprised this is a 5/5 from me. I mean, I would give her a 6/5 but that would give her too big of a head.

5/5 curb stomps (fuck that was disturbing, ha)

Available on Godless.com for a whole $0.99.

Casey’s Vengenance is in my humble opinion one of Havok’s best yet.

Why? It has fucking so much heart. You feel Casey’s pain. Feel it like you’re the one who has had your innocence wrenched away from you. Your dreams shattered. Oh, Casey ain’t perfect, she’s human and flawed, but like no one deserves her life to be shattered by the group of men and the experience she endured.

Then, like any good Havok fairytale, her revenge is sweet. It doesn’t go to plan. She needs some girl power help. Just like reality sometimes. But, hey this is Havok fictional piece right? So, it all works out in the wash. And ahhh it’s sweeter and more brutal than you’d ever hope! And is a testament to when the girls stick together, they can kerb stomp any motherfucker.

This story is a perfect prequel to Killstreme, it’s possibly even better but in an altogether different way. It kinda triggered me, but you know what that’s okay, it’s cathartic and fucking awesome to fall into Havok’s stiletto kicking world.

This is a prequel to Killstreme, and I chose to read this first. Content warning for brief descriptions of rape (no heavily detailed descriptions) and gore. This story is about a girl named Casey who we are introduced to on prom night, and how her special night turns into a nightmare. I’m thankful that this story didn’t focus on detailed descriptions of the actual assault and focused on Casey’s frame of mind and the aftermath. I’m glad that Casey chose to indulge in vengeance. I think the depiction of rapists being “normal” boys and living their normal lives after brutally sexually assaulting someone and leaving them for dead is bold and scary, but also frighteningly realistic and speaks to rape culture in the real world. Casey’s character isn’t deeply developed or given much more than above average characterization, but I don’t think much was needed. Casey was just a normal girl before she was brutally assaulted, and then she becomes focused on revenge, not caring how monstrous she becomes. I liked how brutal and dark Casey became as she takes out her revenge on each boy. I like how each encounter was different and wasn’t too formulaic, it made it seem more realistic than most rape and revenge horror movies where the female protagonist suddenly becomes an invincible killing machine. Brin’s character wasn’t too fleshed out either, but again, she didn’t need to be; she was Casey’s female best friend who gladly helped her seek her revenge after Casey’s brutal assault, and that’s all she needed to be to serve the story. I think it was nice that Casey didn’t have to do this all on her own, having someone help her is certainly different from most rape and revenge stories. This book is great for fans of movies like The Last House On The Left and I Spit On Your Grave. This story is simple and it was a great prequel that has sold me on reading the next book in the series.

I f🍄🍄king love Rayne Havok!!!! 😍

Every girl wants prom night to be a special night right??
Well, that's how it started out for Casey, but it soon goes horribly wrong! And when things go wrong, people tend to want revenge!! The build up to this revenge was tense and exciting! And Rayne always gets you backing the main characters, cheering them on as they act out that thoroughly deserved karma!
I found this story heart wrenching, brutal, horrifying and completely satisfying!

This is the perfect prequel to Killstreme, it sets the next book up nicely and helps you to understand completely the reasons behind the brutal events involved!
I think I may have a new favourite!! 🖤🖤

Teenage naïveté mixed with angst, revenge, torture and death. This story unfolds and brings the reader into the dark folds of fiction, those dark corners that are feared, and that people do disappear into. Casey's Vengeance is a quick, great read, one of my first books, and surely not my last, written by Rayne Havoc. I enjoyed it, but mostly loved to be a part of the revenge of a person who was forcefully shoved, unwittingly, into a dark personality that has never been a part of life, a place where she can only return from. Buy this for a great exclusive on godless.

If you’re a fan of I Spit on Your Grave, Casey’s Vengeance is for you! Casey thinks she’s getting a fresh start at a new school with a boy she really cares for and who she thinks cares for her. Prom is here and she thinks things will go perfectly, promising him her (second) virginity at the end of the night. Things turn sour quickly as her boyfriend’s friends enter the hotel room at the end of the night and all four of them mentally and physically destroy her. Being reborn from the ashes of trauma, Casey plan to carry out her vengeance.

I really enjoyed the buildup to the end of prom night, the emotional investment into Casey really made what happened to her so much harder to read. I love a good revenge plot, and this story does not disappoint! Casey really gets creative with how she wants to humiliate her attackers, before deciding humiliation isn’t enough to pay for what she went through.

This story, like all of Rayne’s, really raised my blood pressure levels. Out of all authors I’ve read, her stories get to me the most and always find a way to hurt me. Screw you Rayne, but also thank you for being so damn good at what you do!

Ooohhhhh boy. This one gave me the feels a little but then in typical Rayne fashion you get hit with a ton of us women are bad bitches and we don't need no mens. There's plenty of make you wince moments and the dark humour that I love.
This gives you clarification on why the Killstreme girls do what they do and how they do it so bloody well.

I read the standalone Casey's Vengeance (Killstreme, Prequel #1) by the increasingly impressive Rayne Havok tonight. It was copyrighted 2022 which surprised me a little because I felt it was on par with some of her more current works which are garnering praise these days. As a matter of note I thought her Cover Art was beautiful.

The backstory of this reading experience of immersive, creative, brutal, and heartpounding extreme horror is delivered with an even measure of extreme prejudice. Ironically, the basic plot or engine running the narrative is as sad and simple an event that it is I daresay taken for granted in too many high schools all over this nation.

Young Casey is enjoying all of the hoopla that is associated with going to her school Prom with a handsome young boy she has been dating for a few months and is visibly excited about accompanying her. The change to the new school has permitted her to have a reset and learn from some prior mistakes in decorum. But this is not a story of a young girl's emotional growth and finding sweet romance at her new school. It is conversely about how her near-death and the devastation of her soul burning in the fires of Hell until the cool rain fell from the dark avenging skies to wash away her tears.

It was Halloween. The rain only solidifies that today is the day full circle. I was washed in the rain on the first day of this new life and I'll bathe in it to leave

There is an impressive list of stories that follow the vigilante exploits of Casey and her friends (I particularly liked the Goth girl who was vicious, handy with martial arts and weapons, and was beautiful as well).

About Rayne Havoc's writing style, how can I say it? From the first story I read The Embalmer it was like she was sitting in front of me talking directly to me or kind of a very dark erotic fantasy being slowly shared with the reader. In this outing she is about as damn creative as any male author I have ever read. The torture kills of the male vermin are about as nasty, twisted, and painfully demented as any I have read by any extreme horror writer.

I will definitely be following the exploits of vengeance augmented by murderous imaginations of Casey and her gal pals.

Highly recommended reading for lovers of unfettered justice carried out against the male persuasion. If they were after me I would get plastic surgery and head for Alaska!

RAYNE HAVOK BRINGS IT! REALLY ENJOY HER WORK!

Rayne does it again, lures you in with a hot sexy steamy scene and the just like a cold bucket of water plunges you in to the depths of pain and mental anguish, just to make the reader cringe, but then the best part begins, the pay back . Rayne Havock you are a true master of the craft.

Finally! A series! Even though it’s short, I love being able to put more pieces together. Rayne doesn’t waste any time. It’s plot and straight to the point. Only ran into 2 grammatical errors but it didn’t distract from the story. Overall I enjoyed the read and hope to see more continuations and a little more character building to add spice to what’s in Rayne’s head for the next one.

I have to start this review with Fuck yeah, these girls are powerful, terrifying and downright disturbed..... I kinda love them. This book was awesome; it was so good to see the origin story of Casey and Brin; they are girl power but on PCP! I have read through the whole trilogy today, and my thirst for angry, in-control ladies has been satiated. Thank you Rayne Havok for that.
