Another Love

Rate this book
When Nevadan rancher Nathan Regan makes his mind up, he always follows through with his plans and that includes deciding at the tender age of twenty that it is high time he found himself a bride.

Unable to wait another year for his childhood sweetheart, Clarissa Roberts, to come of age he places an advertisement with a matrimonial agency in Philadelphia.

Twenty-two-year-old Isla Parmeter is weighing up her options —whether to stay in the bleak smoggy city, working a humdrum job, or whether to move forward with her dreams of a life of adventure.

Luckily for Nathan, she makes the choice to move to Silverado, Nevada, agreeing to become his wife.

After a long and tedious journey, Isla arrives in Silverado but is dismayed to find that the man meeting her appears to be hardly much more than a boy.

Disappointment further overwhelms her when she discovers that this immature young man is the rancher she has agreed to marry.

Her feelings are only further compounded when she meets his father — a man who personifies her dreams of what a perfect husband should be.

Can Isla fulfil her promise to marry Nathan, forsaking all her hopes and dreams of adventure and romance?

Will Nathan finally get to meet the girl of his dreams and his goal of a happily ever after?

A Wedding

This was a very good book written by Callie Gardner and I enjoyed reading it. A young woman, factory work, a very young rancher, a father, being a mail order bride, a long train ride, meeting her husband to be, he looks so young, younger than his mail order bride, meeting a young woman, walking, finally the ranch, meeting his father, something happening, unexplainable feelings for her too, not spending time with her, a wedding date and dress, will there be a wedding and to who? Why ignore her? Is there someone else? Will there be a happy ever after and if so with who? I would recommend this book to everyone. Buy the book and find out what happens. Enjoy!

Isla’s dream

Very sweet and clean story. I would loved to have given this five stars, but the ending was so abrupt😔

It would have been wonderful to have included an epilogue with a wedding scene. Sigh…

Isla who is in love with love, decides to go to Nevada to marry her mail order chosen groom, only to find that the father of said groom is more to her ideal man. Very nice story, but you'll have to read it to find out whom Isla ends up marrying.

Can she end up with the man she loves

Well written characters. I was on the edge of my seat to see if she ended up with the man she loved or married to his son.

Blissful

Great novella. Small town romance that will make you feel swoony the entire story. Is love a dream, is it lost or can they find it again?
