Wish I could give this book more than 5 stars! This series just keeps getting better and better. You would think that the evil show host Zahara Zedd couldn’t come up with anything more crocked and conniving than the last games, but you would be wrong! You will fall in love with the three main characters. Willow was abducted from earth five years ago and sold as a house slave. It wasn’t a bad job, considering the other alternatives, but when she is accused of eating a pie not meant for her, her owner has her arrested. When she refuses to do sexual favors in return for a lighter sentence, the judge sentences her to five years and sends her to an all male prison planet. There she is thrown into a cell with two genslaves. Braveheart and Valor are the two genslaves we briefly met in book two. They were sent to the prison planet because they disobeyed an order to kill a fellow genslave at the end of the games. They try and protect Willow as much as they can, but when Zahara sees them together in the cell she gets the idea of calling the next games Down to Three. All of the contestants are prisoners paired in three’s, two males and one female. Fortunately Willow had watched all of the previous episodes with her owner so she know how underhanded Zahara was. The action is fast, furious and non-stop until the end. Don’t miss it!
I love the galaxie games serie, it just keeps bringing new chatecters with amazing stories. Genslaves, Braveheart and Valor are such deep souls, expecialy Valor. The three of them are amazing but he is the hero on so many levels. Willow is a very unlucky human. She was abducted and sold to be a house slave, not bad considering the options but everything changes with a false accusation and a sentence to an all male facilitie. Maybe She isn't that unlucky because She ends in Our genslaves cell. The whole chalenges from "The game" are brutal and it really makes you think: if it was me, what would I do? Amazing book!
Super third book in the series although it can be read as a stand-alone. I love the main characters so much I can’t help but root for them and their HEA. There’s tons of action and suspense as well and a truly evil villainess. It’s very steamy and yet full of romance. I love how the author brings broken characters to life and builds a future for them. I hope there’s another story to come out of this with more from the rebellion in play. Definitely recommend.
I'm rating it 3.5 stars. The action scenes and "the Game" were great. I found some of the intimate physical scenes weird as there were 2 guys and 1 girl so a threesome relationship.
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
The judge who sentenced her to a male prison planet is removed from the bench after she reveals his actions during the game.
Unfortunately, the villain and announcer is still not punished.
This is book three in the Galaxy Game series. The 2 main hero characters were briefly introduced in the last book. The heroes and heroine were enjoyable and made you really root for them and their HEA. Lots of action and romance mixed together. The author has really got me hating the I main villain and I can't wait until she gets her comeuppance. Overall great story, and if there is another book, would like to see the rebellion go on the offence for something different.
I seriously skipped a lot in this book. It was disappointing overall. It just felt like that midweek hump. Just gotta get thru book 3 to get to book 4.
All Willow wants to know is, how did she end up on an all male prison asteroid? She's innocent. Okay, so not pleasuring the crooked old judge in his chambers might have had something to do with a harsher sentence. But this? Her choice for cellmates, one that leaves no doubt what's going to happen as soon as she's put in with him. Or, two huge males that look but don't have any reaction whatsoever. Turns out she chose wisely. Valor and Braveheart are on the prison asteroid for not completing the mission they were sent on. Killing a geneslave like them. The higher-ups don't like when their "product" doesn't do or perform as told. They instantly feel the need to protect the little female, protecting her from prisoners and guards alike. Until the one being comes along that none of them can be protected from, Jahzara Zedd! TGN needs new victims, oh, ( she gives an evil smile ) contestants for the new survival show, Down To Three and this one promises to be even more grisly, bloody and deadlier then the one before. It's team against team in a race for their lives. As the planet throws everything it has at them, a small spark that's already been growing between all three of them blooms into love. When all three come together, , ,all I can write in this review is, COLD DRINK, have one ready! What a "thruple". Down To Four? I don't know if my heart can take that kind of heat and excitement again. But, I'm willing to find out! ; ) Read this book? YES!
The main characters are delightful and very protective of each other. There is some jealousy, but even that adds to the story. Each has their own strength that they bring to the game. And they will need every bit of that strength to survive the twists. As for the villain, she becomes even more vile, if that’s even possible.
This is the third book set in the Galactic Games and this time we have not one but two heroes to root for. We briefly met Valor and Braveheart at the end of Down to Two, this is the story of what happens to them after. They form an attachment to Willow, a small but resourceful "Earther", and together they strive to overcome the machinations of the awful Jahzara Zedd and survive to the end of the game. A really satisfying and exciting read. Recommended.
There's nothing really WRONG with the book, per say, it just had some things that made it go from "I want to buy to read over," to "meh, I don't mind that I read it." You know what I mean?
I loved the fact that the two alien MMCs, Valor and Braveheart, were really sweet and caring towards the FMC, Willow. I liked the idea of the story, even though it's been done a lot. I like how their bond grew over time.
Buuuut The sex scenes were pretty vanilla, and the one that was supposed to be a big deal became irritating as all hell because Willow would not STOP MONOLOGUING! Dear gods, that woman wouldn't shut up. When the two guys were working out the fact that they could both have her, it was hot, but then she wouldn't shut up and ruined it completely. I was pulling my hair out, yelling at her. The wording in the scenes is also kinda icky, like calling the liquid between her legs "cream." Bleh.
Another problem was that while everyone got injured or scared or whatever, I never really felt like anyone was in real danger, or that they weren't going to make it. I may not have known what was going to happen in the trials, but the problem with books like these is that you KNOW they're going to make it, so there's no real tension. The trials themselves were pretty boring. The first two were and the last one was not really too thrilling. There wasn't any backstabbing, side plots, horrid manipulations, or anything that made you go "No freaking way!" It was all...obvious. The "bad guy" never did anything bad and the "bad girl" was just irritating. Two of the main characters get . You're telling me there was literally no other way they could have gotten injured to make it more tense?
I would still recommend this book for people who are new to alien romances, are sensitive to triggers, or who enjoy an easy read. Like I said, it wasn't a bad read, just...too soft.
Trigger Warnings Rape- mentioned and is threaten/insinuated at beginning but nothing happens to FMC SA- Alien guy grabs FMC's boob (hard) Murder- off page or not highly detailed venomous bite car accidents wrongful imprisonment slave labor genocide- backstory
Down to Three, is of course the third book in this series: this time featuring two lien hero hotties, and a human woman. Willow was accused of a crime she didn’t commit, and sentenced to years in a male only prison. Certain she will be facing death, she is relieved to be placed with two geneslaves- that is until Jahazara Zedd, the game show host, turns up there. The prisoners now find themselves at the centre of another galactic game show, where losers lose… their LIVES. Can Willow, Braveheart, and Valor manage to fight their ways the end?
Another enjoyable addition to this slightly dystopian flavoured series. Far from being a galaxy filled with advanced races with advanced notions, it’s filled with slavery and beings turning a blind eye to their abuse. Our heroes and heroine have to resort to some not so savoury actions, just to survive, which makes for an action packed read. There is a little bit of a book hook at the end of this one, with some intriguing thoughts on what might be coming up next… but it’s a small snippet and not a true cliffhanger.
All in all it’s a thoroughly enjoyable sci-fi romance, with a bit of a twist and lots of danger for them all to surmount. Recommended for sci-fi romance fans.
Braveheart , Valor and Willow what a fantastic combination. Strength, wit , sexiness and good souls. Willow ends up and an all make prison convicted of a crime she didn't do and has no legal standing because she's an abducted human slave. Now she's stuck in a cell with to of the biggest most handsome males she's even seen. She just hopes that they won't kill her. Braveheart and Valor are genslaves being punished for not succeeding on their last mission. Being genetically engineered makes You a slave with no feelings or rights. When the see the small human female. Being thrown into their cell both are immediately attracted to her and how to protect her as best they can. The 3 of them are chosen for the deadly game show down to three. As they learn to trust , feeling bloom and grow into something none of them ever thought would be possible. This is another fun super action packed ride. With lots of danger, excitement and the healing power of love. A must read in the series! Read to find out how the out smart the game and find love passion and soulmate the best prize of all!🔥💖🔥💖💖💖🔥🔥🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥
This is a stand alone book although it is written in a series. You don't have to read the first two in order to know what is going on. Having read the first two books in the series and loving both of them, I have to tell you that this one is my favorite so far.
Alana Khan has a knack of bringing her characters to life. You can relate so easily to them and what they are experiencing, thinking, and feeling. Her world building is great too. I do have to warn you that there are adult situations in the book, so it needs to be read by a mature audience. The book may trigger some folks as it also contains violence.
This book is action packed and a page turner. It is a bit twisted, but it is easy to read and very entertaining. Can you imagine being accused of stealing a pie, being innocent, yet still being convicted and sent to an all male prison full of big scary aliens? That is what happens to Willow. This is her story. It is a survival story as well as a love story. I highly recommend it.
This is such a fantastic series. I know this is only the third book, but each new addition I love more and more than the last. Great world building and I loved the characters. First Willow is abducted by aliens and sold. Then she is accused of a "crime" she didn't commit (stealing and eating a pie!!) and sentenced to five years hard labor in an all-male prison. As horrible as the situation was, I loved the way her mind works- the way she thinks and observes things. She ends up tossed in a cell with two other aliens- Valor and Braveheart. I absolutely loved them! They were such sweethearts- kind and honorable and fierce when they needed to be. It's impossible for me to prefer one over the other. I loved the dynamic between the three of them. This is the best book so far. Fantastic! Highly recommended. 5 stars.
Willow, abducted and sold into slavery, was falsely accused of eating a pie and sentenced to an all male prison. Valor and Braveheart are genslaves in the same prison- for disobedience. Their bond starts and grows as the three share the same cell. Down. To Three. -for the entertainment of the galaxy starts. Danger, death, plot twists, nasty tricks by Zedd ( she needs to be punished- maybe she can be entered in the next game- please) , and the growing connection between our three all drive this tale. Our author builds her worlds and characters with intensity and places the reader in the midst of all the action. You can see, smell, taste, hear and feel all that our triad experiences. So... where will the next tale take us? Great story- don't miss it.
I loved this book Willow, Braveheart and Valor were all amazing. Willow is strong, feisty and beautiful and perfect for our two heros. Braveheart and Valor are two strong, sexy, alpha males who see Willow and are totally smitten with her right from the beginning.
The storyline was spellbinding and once you started reading this book you could not put it down till you finished reading all the way to the very last page.
The story was action packed and it had everything romance, humor, danger, sexy times and best of all a fantastic HEA. I highly recommend this book this series and this author to everyone who loves syfy romance heck I recommend to everyone who loves romance period.
Be sure and pick up a copy you will be incredibly glad that you did, I sure was.
This is the best one so far. I mean we have now gone from two couples to three in a couple - throuple.
Valor and Bravehart are from the previous book (no need to read but it gives the umph to the series). They both are fromt he same geneticlaly engineered batch and are more brothers as well as friends and become very protective of Willow from the moment she enters their cell.
They bond through their needs to win the game and the want to be together and to ptoect each other - no matter what!!
I am not sure where Alan gets her ideas but she is sooo good with the shared characteristics that you forget you are reading about aliens.
The Game takes on more horrific challenges where danger and death lurk in the shadows and is expanded to include 300 participants divided into teams of three. Each team includes 2 male and 1 female prisoner. But is everyone guilty of a crime? The team of Willow, Braveheart and Valor will rely on their combined strengths to race for their life and freedom. Succeed or perish. What happens when love enters into the mix between a human female and two alpha male genetically generated slaves? Fast paced with great character development Down to Three is a captivating story.
Down to Three is an incredible sci-fi romance. It can be read standalone in the series. When Willow is sentenced to all male prison for a crime she didn’t do. But Braveheart & Valor is also in the prison for not killing a genslave. But when Willow becomes their roomie in their cell. They do everything they can to protect but when Zahara see how they are. She forces them to join the games. Willow has seen the games and know how underhand it can be. But she didn’t count on them falling in with each other. Their story is incredible and to get their ending is remarkable.
This really was a wild ride of a read! The worst luck leads Willow to the best mates a girl could ever dream of. But this game show! Wow, everything wicked, dangerous and yes, more 'cheatery' than you'd expect, had me on the edge of your seat. However, a connection so deep that love just swept right in made this a read I was totally invested in. These three have those soft romantic moments sliced in between all that danger and risk, and I just love how that added fab depth to their story. Can't wait for more ;D
Thank you for the ARC read, I voluntarily give this book an honest review. OMG, Valor used Kenobi'd their nrew teammate! Two male, one earther (Love these characters) waiting to to see if their real nature agree to share…Just how far are they willing to go to credits but to finish? After all Braveheart had more facial expression so Valor has a mood eye which is amazing..that what I keep calling it in my head. Talk about stuck between a rock and a hard place, Being sentence for a pie, lands Willow on a planet that was inhabited with an all male prison. (dang,They got the alien equation of a silkwood shower!) Her new cell-mates Braveheart and Valor are about to be the unlucky contestants on Psycho Zedd horrendous game. Bright side Willow can help the geneslaves after having watched the vids of previous games! Between both her males Willow just may have a fighting chance of coming out of this alive. When Zedd let's loose her draft for the scheme, it's a matter of If they will make it. Valor's psychicy want mesh with Zedd, after the evil creatan aimed to place Williow with another. Braveheart was willing to suffer just for Willows happiness, that is until she doesn't have to choose between them.
Willow, Braveheart, and Valor are part of the next Galaxy Game Show, Down to Three. Willow is a human slave jailed for stealing a pie and two genetically Engineered slaves, Braveheart and Valor who were jailed because they would not kill innocent women and children. They must work together to make it through the game alive. Through out the game rules change and the challenges can be deadly. If you love SYFY and love stories along with a plot that keeps you entertained this is a book to read.
From slavery to an all male prison for allegedly eating a pie and refusing to allow sexual abuse by the judge, to being placed in the Galaxy Games is just too much for Willow to handle on her own. Willow must depend on the two prisoners she was thrown into a cell with to keep her safe if they can. Down to Three is this season’s game broadcast across the galaxies. Only three will survive. Can Willow and her two prison cell mates win the games and their freedom? There is a HEA awaiting but first heart stopping adventures to be won.
Down to three is my favorite in the Galaxy Games series. Not only did the 3 of them need to work together to win at the game. They also developed a really relationship with all three of them. Having 2 alpha mate control their jealousy and become one cohesive unit. Love it Braveheart , Valor and Willow are a terrific combination. Willow ends up in an all-male prison convicted of a petty crime. Braveheart and valor are in the men's prison remember them from book two. The three of them are thrown together for another series of The Game. Crazy alien version of The hunger Games
Really enjoying this new series and Down to Three is a great addition! I was wondering how she would move the idea into this next book with three main characters and I love how she approached it. There's a ton of action and a honestly how great is Zedd as the villian!?! These three together might be my favorite yet, love how their relationship developed and how they came together.
I did not care for the overview of each chapter, knowing what's going to happen before you read it is a spoiler. Something was missing with this book, it just didn't dig deep enough. The L word was dropped too quickly, way before we even read a connection. Perhaps if the start hadn't been fluffed over we could have seen a connection form, not just been told about it.
I absolutely, categorically despised the shows presenter. Her self interest and total disregard for any life form other than herself made my stomach turn. Willow found her true worth and her two team mates were exceptional and restored my faith in decency.
I was so hoping that Zedd got hers but NOT…lol I know there’s another book coming …when, I don’t know, but I hope that one of these books takes out Zedd …I know that horrible but she deserves it…. Thank you for another amazing book .
Its another “sleepless” night for me. 😂. I couldn’t put the book down, there are so many death defying scenes that I was worried for a minute there, I have to find out if he/she lives. Of course he/she lives but finding out the how is the fun part.
