Wonderful dragon shifter and his mate, lovely story with lots of action
Emmy Nelson had discovered that her no good fiancé had been having a torrid affair with her childhood best friend, fortunately weeks before they were about to marry. It had been a lucky escape and with the help of her dear friend Gerri Wilder she can see that he had simply used her begrudging her spend her own money on herself, she paid for everything and all he did was belittle her and demean her appearance and her writing which paid for all the things he could not do without.
After a great deal of heart searching and some arm twisting by Gerri she decided not to let the Honeymoon she had paid for in Hawaii go to waste, she takes the holiday hoping that it would help her to find herself and hopefully begin writing her romance books once again.
Kingston had received a call from matchmaker and wolf shifter Gerri Wilder stating that his fated mate was on the island, he was doubtful but as soon as he had smelt strawberry and cream and viewed the tiny fire cracker both him and his dragon felt as though they had been hit by a brick wall.
Imagine his surprise when he discovered Emmy was human and lived, he assumed with no knowledge of shifters, however life saving had called for an early show and tell and she had been totally fine. The only thing that had caused her concern was that he was the King and if she agreed to be his mate, she would be his queen.
Read this simply amazing story you will be blown way by the action and the adventures and the strength of the characters.
I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

Flame to Please is the latest book in Milly Taiden's Paranormal Dating Agency series. In this book we meet human Emmy & dragon shifter Kingston & follow them along their road to happily ever after.
Emmy's had a rough time of late. She was getting ready for her wedding until she found her now ex boyfriend cheating on her. With her best friend no less. Her friend Gerri Wilder, matchmaker supreme, thinks she needs to go on her honeymoon & take some time to regroup. The thought that this might be a Gerri Setup never crosses her mind.
Kingston is the next in line to lead his clan, but not until all the requirements are met. Which is just fine with him. He has no interest in leading his clan & is content to continue things as they are. But Gerri Wilder has other ideas.
Ms Taiden has knocked it out of the park with this latest book in her PDA series. All the books in this series are good, but there are some stand outs & this is one of them for me. The main characters had me hooked from the start. They both felt like 'real' people - other that the dragon thing of course - with strengths & weaknesses that made sense. The supporting cast was well written & did a fine job of moving things along. The story line was a good one with some new twists on a familiar theme that made it all seem really fresh. All in all, this is one book I'll read over & over.

The Pacific Dragos Clan alpha Kingston is not interested in meeting his mate but when Gerri Wilder
calls to tell him that she has found his mate and she is staying at the hotel his brother Jace works he makes his way to the hotel and then to the pool where he eyes all the women until he sees her sleeping in the sun and burning by the pool he is shocked and pleased and wakes her but doesn't want to leave her but after they talk a minute and he asks her to dinner and she races to her room shocked at herself. Emmy is very upset but her friend Gerri encourages her to take the trip she was to take with her future husband but everything is moving in slow motion for her standing at the altar. She puts all of that pain behind her and makes a decision to take a chance and step outside her comfort zone. When she meets Kingston she is surprised and very attracted and they spend time together when she finds out about him she is not as upset as he thought she would be some of his relatives seem to be unhappy with his choice of a mate or that he has one at all.
A romantic suspense storyline and the characters are so interesting you have to keep turning pages. I read a copy via BookFunnel without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.

With the expensive honeymoon to Hawaii paid in full, she heeds the advice of her good friend Gerri Wilder and goes anyway so that she can have a much-needed getaway. Kingston Conrad is the heir to the Pacific Dragos Clan and he gets a phone call from Gerri to tell him that his mate is on the island. As soon as he meets her he knows and cannot resist her even though there are some in the clan who want to keep them apart. He will protect her to the death - let's hope it doesn't get that far!
I enjoyed this story with the subtle way that Gerri enabled Emmy to go to Hawaii, the discord in the dragon clan and the way that everything was resolved. I loved that Kingston was a gentleman and stuck to that policy even when it must have been very hard for him to do that. Emmy was fortunate that her job could be done anywhere. Easy to read and understand. Contains some mature content.

Emma goes to Hawaii on what should have been her honeymoon trip. The first night there she meets Kingston ( a dragon shifter prince ), and as usual The Fates Will Not Be Denied !! This book takes place in the Gerri Wilder series and as usual she and the Fates are copacetic. Emma is Kingston’s true mate and he’ll do anything he can to prove he’s worthy of her trust and love. Not everyone is happy about the mating and on coming Coronation and things start to go terribly wrong and Emma’s life is in danger. With help from an unlikely source Kingston is able to ascend to the Throne with Emma by his side. If you like your paranormal romance steamy and full of sexy times and adrenaline rushes, you’ll love this 4🌟 read by Millie Taiden.

She and Kingston hit it off immediately. He's not sure how to explain being a shifter or mates, considering she's human. When her life is in danger, Kingston will do anything to protect her. Including a quick shift into his dragon. There are some who aren't as happy as he is that he found his mate. Kingston will go to great lengths to protect his future queen. Another great read in the PDA World. This is my honest opinion of an early copy I received.

The dynamics between Emmy, Kingston, Jace, and Malia are well thought out. There is enough heat and action to keep you reading. I finished the book in one day sitting. I went back to re-read some chapters as they were so sweet. Gerri Wilder is one of my favorite characters. I can almost see this woman in her late 50s or more looking fabulous. To know she is a shifter (wolf) and to finally know that she is about her friends was great!!! This is one of my favorite stories. I highly recommend it to PDA fans.

I found this story crazy good
What better to do then go on your honeymoon alone when you dump your fiance and your best friend because you found them together before the wedding. That's what exactly happens at the beginning of this book. It front of her tells her to go on a honeymoon along since she's been sent the money and it's non rechargeable. She goes and a new world opens up to her She needs Kingston And they have an immediate connection... I like the book, I like the characters but I did find some mistakes in the grammar and punctuation. That's why I gave it a lower rating than 5.. She's in introvert but has a need for excitement some what the she did know.

It was a good book overall. I’m glad that Milly���s gotten back to writing a little more of a stronger willed female lead, bc lately they’ve been hard to tolerate (especially compared to how the leads started off in the beginning of the series). I’m just a bit confused as to why Gerri would have her friend take off by herself when Kingston called her to come out there and explained the situation of the plane being tampered with, which is why they had to bale out and he had to shift in the first place. And Gerri’s not infallible but why would she go off on her own knowing his brothers sabotaged the plane then followed them? It makes absolutely zero sense!

My favorite Milly Taiden series is the Paranormal Dating Agency. Once again Gerri Wilder is working hard to match a good friend of hers that has just been jilted. Ok, so dragon shifters are my favorite shifter read but this one truly woven together a great love story with eminent danger to a mate. Emmy is a strong curvy heroine who finds acceptance with her body image. I would have loved to see her ex fiancé get what he deserved from Kingston. Spend sometime in Hawaii with this fabulous read!

This book was quick and lovely. The chemistry Kingston and Emmy have is off the charts. I love that we got a chance to see more about both characters individually before them coming together— which was 🥵🥵. The enemy of this story was predictable but honestly I still didn’t expect it lol. The story was 80ish % done and I was like “this will be the first hea with no conflict”💀. I was truly a clown for that 😭.

I discovered her books by accident, now I read an average of 2 a day, every story is different, every hero or heroine you fall in love, Gerri is by far the best matchmaker in all worlds , and I hope one day she finds her mate, star on book one you won't be disappointed, after I'm done with the last one she wrote , I plan on rereading them, this author is now my favorite. Don't miss out read this series

As always this series doesn't disappoint. Plenty of twists, action, and intrigue to keep you hooked from beginning to end. Looking forward to the new books in this series. Absolutely love the meet cute in this book. Kingston gets a call from Gerri saying his mate is at his brothers hotel and if he wants her then he needs to go get her.
Absolutely love this story and how the romance develops between Kingston and Emmy especially with Emmy being betrayed and getting away for a holiday but meeting a handsome shifter while there

Each book of this series never stops to amaze me. Gerri has done it again. Matching Human and Dragon mates, with the usual baddies making an appearance, but ends with a hea.

As this series develops it is great to read the author seeming to work hard at keeping it fresh. Hawaii is a great setting for a book. Gerri’s role in these latest installments is a little more active than in some of the earlier books.

I’ve gotta be honest. This was kind of boring and didn’t keep my attention. I didn’t even finish it or get to any good romantic parts because it took so long.
