Peter Ford is given an innocent case to keep him busy and out of trouble. Before he knows it, he is thrust into a serial killer's world. He has to use his wits and determination to solve the crime before more are killed. His only help is a veteran detective who thinks computers are a fad, his friend Alice who writes for the newspaper and John, a computer technician with a wild side. The unlikely bunch has to stop a killer who is killing people with no connection.
I felt like I knew these characters. Written by someone who clearly knows what he's talking about yet he makes it easy for everyone to understand. My favorite part was even though the book dealt with multiple characters in IT departments there wasn't one mention of restarting a computer in the entire book!
