Gesa does not have a pride. Only male gryphons need a whole harem of lovers to stroke their egos. But when a fortune-telling fox from the county fair and a captive mute sea-dweller turn to Gesa for help, she can’t turn them away. Sometimes being a creature of valor and loyalty is a pain in the ass.
Meanwhile, Gesa’s stubborn fae lover, Oisin, is on edge. Danger is creeping nearer, and he is determined to face it alone, as he always has—even if it destroys him. Add in a controlling politician of unknown origin, the building family drama Gesa is determined to ignore back in the clan lands, and some time spent tracking down imps.
Maybe it will take an entire pride to survive this after all.
Author’s Note I was tired of reading the same old thing over and over again in reverse harem. Sick of all alpha male and fainting female all the time—and desperate to be able to tell the male characters apart—I tried to infuse some variety into my story. Gesa might not be your cup of tea, and that’s okay—she doesn’t care. Her lovers are as varied in physicality and personality as they are in supernatural race. And the characters all have their own definition of sexuality. I know reverse harem is all about the fantasy, and my fantasy is a bit outside the norm. You’ve been warned.
* Gesa’s Menagerie books are novellas of between 30,000-40,000 words. * This is a series. There will be unresolved plot threads at times/ occasional cliff hangers. * Do NOT read this series if you are easily offended. Contains: mentions of past trauma/rape, adult language (that’s cursing kids, lots of it), and sexual content (including male/female, male/male, female/female, male/male/female, female/female/male and any other combination you can think of. Oh, and probably some tentacles and diphallia).
Sometimes our greatest strengths come from our deepest challenges. I write magic and romance, starring a cast of creatures with feathers, fins, and teeth. My books include paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and fantasy romance--with the occasional steampunk or alien story thrown in just for kicks. My pan heart firmly believes love is love, so you'll see straight, LGBTQIA, monogamous, reverse harem, and poly relationships in my work. My favorite theme is overcoming our inner demons and the insecurities that hold us back. I also advocate for self-development and mental health and dabble in non-fiction as time allows. I love the outdoors and still hope to be abducted by fae! (I may have more in common with my characters than I care to admit.)
I love to hear from readers!

I’m loving this quirky and dangerous series. The cast is unusual and far from tried and true characters you normally see in this genre. The books may be short, but they pack a solid punch and still build the connections as they go.
Great concept. Super funny and definitely worth the read. Love the mystery portion and the ever growing harem.
Catching up on reviews. Didn’t realize kindle wasn’t marking these completed.
Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...
1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.
2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.
3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.
4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.
5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.
Gesa is finally, maybe, sort of, getting the hang of dating 2 guys. And possibly getting a handle on this whole adulting thing. But when she finds a mutely pleading lady in a Halloween shop she decides to see if she can help her. Even after the overly friendly introduction lol. And then there's the foxy card reader at the circus asking to join her pride. She doesn't have a pride! Really! And speaking of her (non) pride, what is going on with Oisin?
Spoilers ahead. This was a very easy wrap up for the silent lady. A quick fix for the fox. A little deeper into the mystery surrounding Oisin. And, for all his vulnerability, the human, Con, causes the least trouble. For those that don't care for F/F or M/M, you may want to duck out now. Things are building towards some extra loving among the pride members. These aren't terribly long books, and there isn't really any world building, but they are entertaining.
We start this one off with some foxy fortunes, then some great drama before we get two new roommates in the building! I love Hisashi and Kaimana so much. We learn a dark secret about Oisin’s past and Gesa handles it in her unique way. I love the strength of her character - the author did such a good job of making a tough as nails female who’s equally endearing and laughable with her interesting take on emotions. This one ends on a cliffhanger about Gesa’s family, so be prepared to have the next book or compilation ready to go!
Gesa continues to add to her -not a- pride, and the new additions keep the pride balanced and hilarious. The push and pull between Hisahi and Oisin is almost as delectable as the never ending snark between Oisin and…the world. (Okay yeah I have a favorite and it’s a short snarky horny fae). I am begging for some grumpy/sunshine interactions between Kaimana and Gesa/Oisin if she ever gets her voice back.
I'm fairly sure this is the most emotional and queer novella in the series thus far. I'm still enjoying the ride and omg the last quarter of the book made my 2020-jaded heart bleed. Kudos to the author!
Yep yep yep... This series totally entrapped me as in I can't stop reading and I need more. Damn girl love it.. need the next and the next and the next etc... Whoo whoop highly recommend
This series really is a lot of fun. I’m loving the character growth that Gesa is experiencing and how uncomfortable all those pesky emotions make her. Oh, and the Pride? 🥵🥵🥵🥵 Gimme!!! 😏
This book felt like it flew by. There was so much going on emotionally that the cases that previously were so much part of the storyline were minimal at best. However, we did meet two new interesting characters, both who are attracted to Gesa, a mute woman and psychic man. Both are beautiful and interesting and need the help of Gesa and her pride.
