My name is Alyssa Lynn and I live in a small town in Central Pennsylvania. I am the mom to three amazing girls and when we aren't shooting each other with Nerf guns, we're shooting each other in a game of Fortnite.

Aside from being an avid reader, I enjoy journaling, writing penpal letters, going for hikes, visiting new areas, crafting for my small business, painting, drawing, and reorganizing my bookshelves.

I'm the sort of reader that reads books of all genres. I read everything from paranormal dark fiction, to dark romance, to sci-fi, to romantic comedies and everything in between. Reading is my solitude, so therefore, if a book is not good I will not complete it. I refuse to waste my time on a book I do not like, nor want to read. I read somewhere between 400-500 books per year counting ARC's.
If I take the time to review a book, it is worth reviewing, and worth reading. "Losing Sight" is my second Alyssa Lynn book. I am greatly enjoying following Ava and Kaycie's journey.Everytime I think I know what is coming next, Alyssa surprises me!!! The book has a great feel, it doesn't drag. I was kept interested even though the storyline didn't go how I had originally hoped! The ending leaves something to be wished for.... but mostly because I WANT MORE. The third book in the series releases soon and I for one cannot WAIT!

Ava, Kaycie, and Demo pick up right where they left off. Ava is working to take down Marcus. Kaycie is hiding her pain and dulling it with drugs. I absolutely adore the three main characters and love all the new ones. Can’t wait to see what Alyssa has in store for book 3. You can’t go wrong with any of her books and this series is intense, but worthwhile.

This is the 4th book I've read written by Alyssa Lynn; I can’t wait to read more of her books.

This is the second book in the Perception Trilogy; the story continues from book one and lets you know what happened to Jett; once you start reading it can’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next book.

Amazing book

Wonderful book, absolutely loved it. Couldn't put it down and definitely had me on the edge of my seat. I hate the ending though because it's a cliff hanger, is there another book coming? If not there definitely should be because it's that good.

We continue from where we left off in book one. We get a better understanding to what happened to Jet. This time Ava and her friends are really having a tough time trying to move on from what occured a few months prior. Demo is acclimating to his new life. Ava is on a mission to bring down this company that is hurting people and cloning. However, the people they rescued are trying to put in place another mission. Only this time there are kids involved. What will happen? Will they be able to accomplish their mission. The tensions run high in this book. Decisions must be made that no one wants to make. Surprises are also revealed. I would be interesting to see how this will all play out. I cannot wait for the next book.

After reading the first book in this series, I was anxious to start Losing Sight. It took me a lot longer to finish, though, because I didn’t want it to end. There was a lot going on in this story...lots of changing and growing relationships between characters, but also tons of action. There were twists that left me breathless and one that made me almost quit reading because I couldn’t bear to have it end. These characters are going to be in my heart for quite some time!

It's been one year since that fateful day. The day that changed Ava's, Jaycee's, and Demo's lives forever.

Here is my review for the first installment in this trilogy:
https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/2955450123?book_show_action=false&from_review_page=1

Alyssa Lynn takes us on the journey of a lifetime in the second installment of "The Perception Trilogy". We are greeted with our main characters from the first book. Ava, Kaycie, and Demo. We also meet some characters that have come into the picture since the takedown of one of Marcus creations buildings. Since the madness of last year, the gang has been keeping a low profile and Ava is preparing for a major battle against Marcus Creations. They've been running for a year and it's time to exact revenge. However, not everyone is as focused as Ava is. Kaycie is still distraught over losing the love of her life, Ethan. She's numbing her pain by using injecting drugs into her system. Even though she has Robb who really likes her, she can't seem to let Ethan go and start a new relationshipAva and Demo's relationship is also on thin ice. Things have changed between them but, Demo does everything he can to get closer to her again. Can Demo and Ava rekindle the fire that once burned between them?
At Marcus Creations building #2:
We meet Digit, Omega, Torque, and Lynx. All of whom are prisoners to the navy suits at Marcus Creations. Digit and Omega can hear the screams from the room near them. The navy suits are always torturing someone. They know something major is coming their way but, they don't know what.Alyssa Lynn takes you on the step by step process Ava takes to put together her plan to start a war against Marcus Creations, as well as a walk through the new shelter she built for her friends and others. In the end, Demo has a to make a crucial decision that will possibly make him lose the love of is life as well.

This book is fast paced and kept me on the edge of my seat. Of course there's some comedic scenes in there to lighten the tension from the rest of the novel. Losing Sight is well-written. Lynn never disappoints me. I'm looking forward to book #3 and what the gang is going to do to finally destroy Marcus Creations.

Thank you to Alyssa Lynn for a copy of this book in a exchange for an honest review.

With the finale coming out in April - I have now set this for sale $0.99!
Book 1 (Seeing Double) is free. AND >> I've done a read-through on the entire trilogy and tightened up some of the already-existing scenes. I've added a few tweaks here and there, and this trilogy is now PERFECT.
I hope you've read these already. Book 3 releases in APRIL 2022!
