Very simple patterns which might be worthwhile if you're making quickie Christmas or housewarming gifts. Most feature bulky yarns. I couldn't see any patterns that held my interest.

A neat collection of patterns using chunky yarn (or double-strand). Chapters are broken down by estimated length of time it will take to make the project. From face scrubs to blankets, there's a good range of practical products. The photo instructions are very clear but I didn't fall in love with the patterns.

Worth checking out from your library if you're at least a comfortable beginner but more advanced crocheters may not find much here surprising.

None of the patterns caught my fancy, but it has great photographs.

I thought a subtitle with “no-fuss” meant easy and beginner-friendly. Boy, was I wrong! I might come back to this library book once I’ve got more of a hang of crocheting.
