I thought after surviving the wild world of Shadow Moon that my life would be easier. Being moon-blessed saved my life, but it ruined my future. I’m still trapped on this messed up island, forced beneath the men who think I deserve to bow at their feet. But down here, I have an advantage. I can use their savage natures against them.

It’s the only way to break my leash and ensure they drop to their knees before me. I’m not the answer to their diminishing population, nor will I ever be their saviors. I’m leaving Shadow Moon, and I’m taking the strongest with me.

The moonborne will see they’re losing control and aren’t the powerful creatures they think they are.

My humanity will win. I will rise.

It's quite clear that currently I'm in an accidental werewolf phase. I'm pretty sure that this is at least my third werewolf book this week, if it isn't more, and I'm still not growing tired of them. Especially because this series is quite clearly different from the other series I'm currently reading. The first book was filled with action, fights and loads of deaths and violence. When I got my arc for this second book I was therefore bracing myself for more brute force.

Normally action packed books aren't really my thing. I prefer emotional development over action. I perfect creating a bond with the characters over being thrown from dangerous situation into dangerous situation. This book is action packed from start to finish, but the action fits with the world and with the characters involuntarily thrown into that world. The lines between human and wolf blur and instincts, especially when it comes to rare females, are hard to ignore.

Because of all the action, the huge amount of packs and the big cast of characters it's not always easy to keep track of the situation. I have to admit that more than once I read a name and needed some time to remember again who they were. However, our heroine also has a little trouble making sense of the chaos. The only two things she knows for sure are that she wants to leave this isle as soon as possible and that she wants to do this with her pack.

Since the characters are constantly fighting for their life we don't really get to know them all that well. However, the author is very aware of this. Although I personally would love to learn more about especially the guys I understand why there's simply no time time for these characters to sit and have a chat about the tragic lives they all had in the human world. However, maybe we might get to see more of their pasts in the next book. I have my fingers crossed!

Wow this book was even better than the last. I couldn’t put it down, I wouldn’t put it down.

I was at the edge of my seat the entire time because just like Eliana, I didn’t know who to trust. The men are victims of their new natures and pack bonds, some good others not.

It was interesting to see them fight against them (the new pack bonds) for Eliana.

I wasn’t a fan of Ravi or Slater at first because I didn’t know if I could trust them, but I felt the same about Kellan in the beginning and just like with him, they grew on me.

I was actually sooo proud of Kellan in this book and he has made his way into my heart just like the rest of the men. I adore him so much!! I adore them all actually.

But Kellan just has a special place in my heart. I love this series so much and I can’t wait for the next one. Ginna Moran that cliffhanger was brutal, I’m going to need the next book stat.

I love how the characters evolve in this book. For sure Elianna starts being more Alpha and more assure of herself and what she wants.
I love how all the men around her are like a rubber band...you know how you stretch it and then it goes back to its normal size...thats how the men are around her...strong and alpha and at the same time twirling around her orb and being protective and sweet and sometimes a@@holes..
A truly great story!
Hotness galore, action packed and mystery and suspense all wrapped up in a great book.
Can't wait to see what is to come!

So much action from start to finish in this story, but then book one was very much the same. Eliana and her men have been split apart, claimed by their respective packs as they try to navigate their new nature and the bonds growing between them. I'd love to see Eliana become the alpha of her pack and take charge. She didn't ask for what happened to her, and she isn't willing to accept her supposed fate and because of that, she will fight tooth and nail against anyone and everyone.

Some of her guys are super sweet, but some are definitely alpha-holes through and through, but they do all have one goal and that is to protect her. She meets new potential allies along the way and even some potential enemies.

There is one hell of a cliffhanger at the end and I have to admit my jaw dropped when it happened, cause I was expecting something a little different. I got everything crossed for Eliana and her men for book three and I hope they get to live their lives how they want to.

This book picks up right after the first one. Eliana is still looking for all her males and trying to find a way off the island. Things definitely dont go as planned for any of them. Huge surprises await in this book and lots of action.

Total Minefield!
Corr blimey Shadow Island is a total minefield, and honestly it’s not very often you read shifter romance where humans are the preferable species!! 😯
This book picks up right after the end of the first one and the drama just keeps rolling….
Eliana is entirely separated from her chosen pack and is forced to do what she must to survive in some precarious positions!!
There’s a new ally, a new alpha vying for her attention and whole new circumstances that she has to navigate aswell! 😬 She finally manages to draw her pack together but with clashing alphas and different priorities it’s becoming a minefield with the wolves! 😩Thankfully the majority of her human borne pack and Kellan are devoted to Eliana and trying to make it all right 😍
Throw in the supernatural council and there’s more to Shadow Island than meets the eye…Elianas determined to figure it out as she believes it will be what helps her get back to the human world!
Looking forward to seeing what happens next and if they can all survive together 🙈

ok great storey but quite complex due to the amount of men and teh multiple pov's so please dont try and speed read as you will get confused - that said its a really good storey with some complex relationships and an emerging Omega finding her place in teh world and learning that Omega's arnt weak and needy.
Elaina is a brilliant FMC and has grown so much through out the first 2 books - I wasnt so keen on her initially but she keeps growing on me and i love the fact that she has backbone.
This book starts after book one whilst she is a captive and about to be given away to teh strongest Alpha and teh storey covers her escape and trying to find her men who are scattered through out different packs but yet still bonded to her.
Full of action and steam - really enjoyabe read.

Savage Wolf is book two in Ginna Moran’s Wolfpacks of Shadow Moon Island. Eliana’s story continues where book one left off. Eliana and what was left of her group were attacked by another pack while in the care of Ravi and his pack. She bowed to him and now he is technically her alpha. But now, she’s in the hands of another, and his plans for her are less than ideal. It seems though that fate is on her side as she is able to escape and find a sense of safety. Her goal remains the same though – escape the island and return to the human world.
I enjoyed book one so much and I was looking forward eagerly to book two. I hate to say it, but book one is better. In book one the characters are adapting and learn to roll with the punches. The author really kept the story engaging with the twists and things rarely going in the characters favor. Now, you can’t go a chapter without things going their way. Do things go perfectly their way? No. But do they usually go in their favor? Yes.
This book is also packed with lots of steamy scenes. Do I mind it? No, I love a good steamy scene. What I would have preferred if there had been some restraint. There is such a thing as “too much of a good thing.” I might have liked it more if it had been more balanced. Eliana is being a brat and thinking that using her sexuality is the way to manipulate the alphas, but hates when they objectify her. She wants to be an alpha, but has selfish thinking. It doesn’t make sense. I honestly rolled my eyes quite a bit reading this book.
While we get some answers with this book, the storyline isn’t as good as it could have been. Maybe less sex, less petulant behavior, less things going in their favor so much, and this book could have been really good. But by comparison book one is better by leaps and bounds. Things need to get back to that unpredictable nature, and the twistedness that made this a series I looked forward to. There is a cliffhanger ending, so we’ll see what happens in book three. I’m rating this book 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Savage Wolves, the second book in the Wolfpacks of Shadow Moon Island series by Ginna Moran, was a fabulous continuation of the first and a must read for any shifter loving fan.

Dropping us right back in where we left off in the first book, with Eliana battling it out for her men and trying to keep her pack together, this story starts off string and never stops. With one twist after another, Eliana works hard to keep her pack together—even though the island and all the other packs are fighting her at every turn. When new players are revealed, more secrets come to light that make Eliana question everything.

With her men succumbing to the other alphas calls, and her and her men split up amongst several other packs, is it possible Eliana will get her happy ending or will they all be doomed to live out their lives separately? Read on your find out for yourself! With tons of adventure, sexy steamy scenes, betrayals and intrigue this book has it all!

Savagely Good
Everything about this book is savage including the pace. There is so much action and plot twists and I still don’t know what’s actually going on with the island and the council and who are the bad guys and why. These books read like an amazing TV series that leaves you freaking out with ridiculously hot and sexy characters that deliver on the chemistry and steam. It’s all so vivid in my head. I can’t wait for season 3, I mean book 3 😉. For real though. Prepare to want to fling your kindle and be just as frustrated as Eliana as she tries to find her way and figure what the heck is going on. And don’t get me started on her harem of men.
I’m still not sure about Ravi, and what is going on with Slater??? That cliffy. Always with more questions than answers.
Read target warnings and enjoy the ride.

Personally not a fan, but I can see the allure

As with the first, it just feels so chaotic.
The story has heaps of promise, but I just have a problem with the structure and the way things flow.
Makes it hard to really get into it, because anytime you settle with something it disappears and another threat comes.
I also very much dislike books where communication is crappy between the characters - the FMC knows that she is in the dark, but anytime she has an opportunity to find out what is happening, she becomes “threatened” and needs to attack the person explaining things or she becomes really unreasonable

I’ve rated 3 even though personally I would say 2 - more just because I don’t want to provide a low star rating because of my personal preference/opinion
I will not be reading on - this book just makes me angry and frustrated

As Eliana stays on the island, she must find a way to keep the men from using her to fix their population problem. She knows the best way to keep them away is to use their Savage nature against them.

3.5 stars
Kellan absolutely stole the show when it came to then men in this book. He really fought for Eliana as well as the rest of her men, and I was happy to see them fighting against the new pack bonds that others were trying to create.

The story is starting to drop off a little as fast as intrigue. The series started off great, but now it's tapering off and becoming a little repetitive as far as plot points.

Turned the world upside down

Eliana, a woman with no connections, has survived the Lykoswolf bite and her pa ck of misfits had finally started to work together until another player enters the field. As the story progresses a bid for ownership is planned, a plea for help is ignored, and race to escape could lead to more than she can handle. Ginna Moran turned the world upside down in Savage Wolves. I got some of the answers that I needed but there are still some left to find. Reader discretion advised due to dark subject matter and/or possible triggers.

I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

This is book 2 of the series and it just keeps getting better. This is a page turner. The author draws you into the story and characters and makes you want to know more. In this one we watch as Eliana struggles being an omega and wanting to stand up for herself and bring what she feels is her pack together and leave the island even though they are strung out among other packs. She finally gets her wish by the end of the book but it ends up not turning out how she had planned. We are left at another cliff hanger that is just breaking my heart as a deal that Eliana has struck up has caused Kellan to be taken. I cannot wait till book 3 is out

This book was even better than the first and I loved seeing the growth of the characters and the plot continued to be fast paced and full of action.

We started right where book one had left off and the action didn’t stop until the very end. There was always something happening and it made it very difficult to put this book down. I feel like more and more kept occurring and the cast of characters kept growing, which did occasionally get confusing but you were still able to make sense of everything.

I’m not sure what’s going to happen next but I know that this author will ensure that we are glued to every single page.

Ginna Moran does it again!…….. this second book in the Wolfpacks of Shadow Moon Island series will just blow your mind. 🤯 There were so many twists & turns that I was not expecting and it just sucks you into this world with Eliana and her men. There are so many emotions that will twist your heart in all the right directions while providing the action to keep you on your toes. Absolutely fabulous! This series just keeps getting better! I cannot wait to find out what happens next! The series may not but finished yet but I highly recommend these books!! 💜🖤

I was so ready for the 2nd installment in the Wolf Packs of Shadow Moon Island and it did not disappoint! It picks right up where the last book ended with Eliana (the FMC) fighting to get back to her men. The entire novel is full of plot twists and the characters have so much growth. The spice is through the roof with this book. The story line moves super quick (I kind of wish I had reread the last few chapters of book one to refresh my memory of everyone) and just one more chapter turned into finishing the entire book in one sitting. Well done!!

I can't get enough of Ginnas writing!!!

Savage Wolves is book #2 in the Wolf Packs of Shadow Moon Island series.

We pick up where we left off in book 1, Eliana has to do whatever it takes to stay alive and get back to her men/pack. Other alphas either want to use her to have their babies or they want her dead.

There are so many twists i didn't see coming, new characters, and I adore seeing Eliana grow and get stronger. This book is action packed AMAZINGNESS and i cant wait for the next book in the series!!!

There was so much growth and character development in this book, that in itself made it a great read. We see Our characters evolving, and accepting what they are and the roles they now have more freely now. We also see them come together, and work together for a common goal while still being headstrong, and standing up for what they want. Embracing their wolf natures, but also still remembering to be human as well. There’s also plenty of surprises and twists, and a cliffhanger that will leave you reeling. It was an epic read and I need more.

Savage Wolves is the second book in the Wolfpacks of Shadow Moon Island series and this starts off where the last book left us. This continues to be an action packed thrill ride not knowing who exactly is the worst of the worst and plot twists galore! I love our FMC Eliana’s growth and her strength in this book and working hard to get her pack together and for the bonds to grow stronger. This book has plenty of action, suspense, mystery, murder, twists, steam, betrays and intrigue. I’m looking forward to the next book!

Well book 2 in this series picks up pretty much where the first one left off. The pace and the action doesnt stop from start to finish. I loved that Eliana got a hell of lot stronger in this book too. Saying that she needed to because the guys just basically kept fighting over her like she was a piece of meat. It was a bit of a head spinner trying ti keep up with all the to-ing and fro-ing with all of the guys but it in no way detracted from the story. Which is a great one. Im enjoying reading this series and that cliffhanger ending was just killer!

We’ve been waiting for the epic continuation of the series and Savage Wolves did not disappoint. This book was action packed and spice filled, with twists and turns you don’t see coming. I did get a little frustrated with Eliana throughout the book as it just felt that was was very impulsive without thinking of the consequences and seemed to fight everyone on any decision. I know she is just trying to survive and get home but it was a little bit of a disconnect for me. Eliana’s guys would do anything to keep her safe and it shows in this book. Definitely can’t wait for book 3!

Girl. This book is SO much 🔥 The action, the adventure, the suspense! Whew! The men are absolutely the 💣 and every steamy scene was 🥵 I love how Elle becomes stronger in this book - she's really proving herself to (hopefully) be an Alpha. The relationship between her and Sloane is awesome, I love how she has Elle's back and gets the men in line! I can tell that book 3 is going to be wild and I can't wait!

Wow, so much action to unpack in this book. It starts off just beyond the last book with Eliana kidnapped in an unknown part of the island with an unknown pack. It's not a pleasant start to the book but it's raw and along the lines of the previous circumstances the pack has had to face. So many different emotions as Eliana naviagated her new "life" on ShadowMoon and all the unexpected obstacles that impact her and her pack. Can't wait to see what happens next to the pack and future together.

Book starts exactly where ONE left off… The FMC struggles to get back to her men. The enemy want to kill her or take her for their own. Some alphas agree to work together to protect her. Well she may even possibly wind up with more mates than she had the last time lol. There Is one heck of a twist with mages that I can't wait to see how it plays out.
But I'm not telling you how many… Can't wait for the next book!

This is book two in this series and picks up where book one left off. Eliana must do what she can to survive and is still looking for a way off the island. I really loved Eliana’s character growth and the strength she shows in this book, and I absolutely adore the guys. The action, suspense, twists and turns, steam, and drama, kept me on the edge of my seat and turning the pages to see what would happen next. I really enjoyed this book and it’s one I recommend you add this one to your TBR.

Can a second book be better than the first? It's a resounding yes it can. Ginna has outdone herself with this epic tale. Wolves hold a special place in my heart and she does honor it with writing savage wolves. Fighting for their lives and great battles means it's full of action and I really think it fit this book well. It's an epic tale and the fmc knows one thing for certain. Leave the island, preferably with her pack. Hoping she'll succeed.
