"We've spent many days on this island, no longer dreaming it. But living it."

We get to have a peek into all the four explosive couple's life in the future in this epilogue novella. It was obviously more light-hearted than the previous books. To all those who can't get enough of the characters and need a proper HEA to get some closure, this is a real nice way to get it! I could see how much every character accomplished and how everyone grew to be more strong, wise and most importantly they finally found peace and true happiness. I can say that if you truly loved these couples, this book will surely brighten your mood. Overall, it was a pretty great conclusion to each of the stories.

I received an ARC in exchange of an honest review

My heart wasn’t ready to give these characters up. Saying goodbye was the thing that made me ugly cry the hardest. But saying bye means that they’re happy. And damn did these brothers deserve it. I can’t explain why I speak about them as if they’re real people, but I wish they were tbh.
My fingers are crossed that we see their lives play out more in the next series, to see their kids and what they’re like 👀
Anyway, I’m gonna stop being a sap - this series is brilliant. Go read it 🔪

When did you all finally realize that it’s okay to breathe again? That it’s finally safe enough?

It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good. It’s a very cute futuretake and wrap up of the series. It’s good but it was boring and not really needed. Super cute for fans of the series. Just know it’s not anything new or even slightly interesting. Just them living their best life in the future with kids.

ngl skipping uni work to finish this series has been worth it, but I know by tomorrow morning I'll regret it so I'll keep this short.

All four couples deserved the peace they found and this family is just.. ugh I love them so much and I'm glad they're all happy with their kids and grandkids. I guess there could be a second generation series?? But yeah I'll wait for it.

I'm glad I found these books out of nowhere back in 2021.

If you were hoping for any additional answers after the ending of the past book...this extended epilogue of the Cavaleri Brothers doesn't have them. It is revealed at the end that to find out what happened to Elsie, we'll have to read the first book, Sinful Vows in another series called the Messina Crime Family.

This is just a short story for each main couple from the previous books, living their HEA. I wasn't particularly into most of the romances, so this did not appeal much to me. The author really excels at writing the action/drama, as she proved with The Devil's Den, but The Devil's Demise is mostly drama free. So if you really enjoyed the romances/relationships and want to read about the proposals, weddings, pregnancies, etc, this is for you.

What a fabulous way to complete the series. This is a novella where we drop in on each couple to see how they are all doing with little glimpses of the past. I love that we see them in the present and years in the future. Their individual family life but also the bond between the brothers and their wives. All the pain and setbacks they endured made them strong and resilient. Knowing they all found a lasting happiness and peace made me happy for all the characters. This is a quick read but each couple got the ending they deserved with each one feeling like a proper goodbye. No pressure but a second generation series is an intriguing prospect.

This was a nice way to say goodbye to much loved characters and to wrap up an amazing series I won't forget.
The reason for my rating is the author completely spoiled us with the full length books.
While I know there wasn't much sense to throw some suspense in when wrapping things up, I did miss it and found myself skimming a little bit.
That's just me though.
For those looking for sweet and steam this farewell novella is for you.

This is such a great ending to the series and everyone’s stories! I really liked the moments between all characters and seeing how strong they truly became in the end. They’ve all gone through so much and this book felt like it brought more peace. I love how they’re all supportive of each other!!

Overall if you loved the series this book will make you smile so much and the moments in this one are everything! I’m going to miss these characters:)

After all the he!! These four couples have gone through it was wonderful to see them all happy and how the rest of there lives were like.

“You’re my warmth on a cold day, and the strength when I’m at my weakest,” I say. “Without you, I’d never know what happiness is.

This is acutely a book with four connected short stories. One about each couple. You definitely need to read the first four books or you’ll be totally lost.

This whole series has been a amazing and difficult ride. Seeing it come to an end is sad but I know what comes next will be just as great or better.

✨ If you like mafia, alpha men, sassy women and LOADS of *cum* I MEAN steam.. 👀 then I have the perfect series for you.

✨ This book is like.. the conclusion of the series so you'll have to go back and read story 1, which is the devil's deal.

✨ Was I ready to say goodbye to these characters? Absolutely not. Yes they were broken and intense and crazy and sometimes I wondered what the hell am I reading here.. but I was invested so much.

✨ The Cavaleri brothers went through so much shit to find their happily ever after. And it is not even an exaggeration. The things that happened to them and their women had me gasping. Particularly.. two out of the four brothers have like.. the darkest stories that almost made me reconsider why am I reading this series. This series is intense y'all 😩

✨ These books have the dirtiest smut so if you're not comfortable about reading explicit scenes with the characters going to town without giving a fuck if someone watches or not.. then you're definitely out of your mind. Yes I'm joking of course. Or on a second thought.. maybe not 👀

✨ Please mind the triggers because these books contain graphic descriptions of r*pe, abuse, SA, violence etc.. All books in the Cavaleri Brothers series must be read in order.

1. The Devil's Deal - Dom & Chiara
2. The Devil's Pawn - Dante & Raquel
3. The Devil's Secret - Enzo & Jade
4. The Devil's Den - Matteo & Aida

And I'll end this review with my favourite lines from this book. YES they're all smut 🥵😈

Oh how much I absolutely loved and adored the Cavaleri brothers! This was the perfect book to bring such an amazing series to an end. In this last book you get to see just how strong everyone is and how well they’ve all came out on the other end. I absolutely love Lillian Harris’s books and this one is no different.🖤
I’m so sad to see this series come to and end but can’t wait for what she has next!

What a fantastic book this is and a great way to end the series! Getting to know each couple, as a couple, in more depth is a treat, especially reading about their families and what they did going forward. This is such a different book, being much lighter, but it still has reminders of their darker pasts.

There’s a section for each couple enabling readers to gain a positive closure and happy ever after for the entire family. Sure, it’s not all sunshine and roses but that’s the terrific part about the book—it makes it more realistic. Be prepared to hop on that emotional roller coaster as you get teary after losses and happy surprises, angry over surviving family—the other side though—and delighted with the immediate family dynamic they have now. Great descriptions like this one—“It vibrates through me like a plague of my own damnation.”—enable readers to gain so much more from the story. The entire way through the book I visualised every scene with clarity because of the fabulous descriptions and analogies—the snake one is amazing (even if I am terrified of them!🤣)

This book answers all of those pesky questions I still had rolling around in my mind, and let’s face it, this series is so powerful it does create an impact. Even very minute details are added to fully explain things—but in succinct ways. Many things were answered in casual moments but were in actual fact huge issues; like how Jade feels now out of captivity—this was very cleverly slipped into a conversation and her answer is brilliant!

There’s a great sense of humour in the book, the brothers fun banter and competitive natures are highlights. They also show how much they have cemented their sibling relationship again with Matteo. I am not going to spoil it by telling you about a special section, but I will say it is extremely cleverly written and shows the writing prowess of this author.

The difference between the previous books and this one is extremely obvious and a perfect blend of explaining what happens to each couple, their relationships within the family and demonstrates the guys true personalities. And holy moly are these guys so romantic. I can only suggest you read the whole series if you haven’t because it is one of my all time favourites!

I don’t hide anymore and neither does she. We embrace everything together.

In all those dark empty moments.
When pain was all that consumed them.
Each day was just another battle to survive.

They all held on for that glimmer of hope that someday things will get better…

And they did…

Because with him, I never drown. I never will again.

Follow each of our favourite couples as they chase their dreams, find themselves again and fall deeper in love as they create their families with each other. Through all the heartache, blood that was shed and strength that grew within each of them, they can all now start their new lives together.

The shadows may linger though, with each day that passes this is not forgotten but, only makes them more grateful that they can overcome what was to pass.

Finding love…when all love was lost…never more.

“When did you all finally realize that it’s okay to breathe again? That it’s finally safe enough?”

For me, this was perfectly written and just gave you soo much more. Each couple has their own extended epilogue which I loved as you had their own story, how they developed as a couple and how their lives had changed. Then with the other couples mixed in as this is such a strong close family with lots of fun antics! It was great and I loved that we got this bonus for each of them.

Goodbye, Cavaleri family<3

Before even starting the book I knew it would be hard to say goodbye to the series. It’s been an amazing ride. Two of my favorite couples and people are DomChiara and my babies MatteoAida. Seeing all of them as a family made my heart melt.

“Though I never admitted it out loud back then, I wanted someone. I wanted the kind of love I’d read about in the books I’d spend hours digesting. And Dom? He gave me that and so much more.”

“She leans deeper, angling her face, and I feel it, that love we share. It’s everywhere. In the sun. In the sky. In the song that the birds sing high above.
It’s a wonder where one can find love when they look for it. And in Aida, I find it all.”

This book was bittersweet because it is the last book but I was so happy reading all of them having a perfect life with each other. I almost cried (I totally did) while I was reading it. I will definitely miss them!

I always hate having to say goodbye to any great series, but saying bye usually means the characters got their happy ending.

The Cavaleri Brothers has been such a fantastic series filled with action, romance, and plenty of what the heck just happened moments. The Devil’s Demise was the perfect ending for this series, and I’m very pleased with how everything turned out. I loved seeing how much these characters have grown. They’ve been through so much and The Devil’s Demise truly showed how strong they are. I’m seriously going to miss this series, but I couldn’t have asked for a better ending!

If you haven’t already, go and check this fantastic series out. Will it break your heart at times? Definitely. Will it make you wanna throw your kindle too? Uh, yes…. But in the end it really is a great series that I highly recommend if you like dark mafia romance. Please make sure to check TWs if you are sensitive to certain content.

This is definitely a five star read for me!!

This is the final book in the Cavaleri Brothers series and I’m truly sad that it must end. However, this story is a great way to wrap up this addictive series. This book is a group of short stories about each couple and is just what I needed. I enjoyed checking in with them at different stages in their lives. It is a smooth and relaxing read that was very comforting and satisfying.

I have come to love these characters having been with them during the worst times in their lives I’ve grown very attached to them all. They’ve really come a long way in their search for happiness and I enjoyed being on that long journey with them. Their determination to make good lives for themselves is such a relief to read and just further enforces their strength which I’ve always felt from them.

I have really enjoyed this series and I am looking forward to more amazing stories from Lilian Harris.

I love that we got more of the Cavaleri family! We were able to see how the brothers lives have meshed with each other, their wives and children, and just the whole family all together. I always want more after a series I love has ended, and this was perfect! These characters have been living in my mind since The Devil's Deal, and will continue to well into the future. I was especially curious to see where Matteo and Aida's future was heading since their book was last and we haven’t had as much of them as the others.

This was the best way to end the series and allow us to see their lives play out far into the future. I recommend this book to those that love this Cavaleri family and are dying for more of their stories!

Best ever HEA to an amazing and must read series!!

Author Lilian Harris pays respect and homage to the characters that we as readers have all come to love so much, and given them and fitting farewell. I thought that the Cavaleri Brothers would be a trilogy, but she surprised me with a fourth book and I am gratified to be reading a fifth. Afterall, I loved this family and I needed to know that they got the rewards they deserved.

The healing from the trauma that I felt had been missing from the end of Matteo and Aida’s books was here and poignantly written. To see that as husbands and wives, and then as parents, the characters got the HEA’s and sexy times that they absolutely deserved. It was rounded off beautifully.

And I loved it. 4.5 Stars 🖤💞✶

I love that Lillian Harris wrote this book and allowed us to catch up and see what happens!!! These men, although they’ve been through so much, are good men who love deeply. Each of them found the woman who is their perfect match. Some didn’t get their as easily as others, and some had so much to overcome.

I was really captivated by these characters, by this series. These brothers have been through so much that they deserve good, even though not all they’ve done has been good. Watching their father shot in front of them changed the lives of three of them, and the fourth was kept as a weapon for the man who killed their father.. believing his brothers didn’t want him.

Thank you Lilian, for giving us a glimpse into the rest of their lives. Long live the Cavaleri brothers.. and their families of course.

This is the novella of all the couples and I couldn't be more happier of what Lilian gave us. It was such a perfect book to see all the couple being in more love with each other and more happy.

I really appreciate the way Lilian didn't change any of the characters personality as years passed. I also feel so sad that we're officially saying goodbye to cavaleri brothers. They would be missed for sure but they will be always remembered. I hope one day Lilian decides to give us second gen *fingers cross*

Now I am ready to welcome and obsess over Messina Family

I’ve been on this ride since the beginning of these books and let me tell you how amazing it’s been. Lilian Harris is one of my fav authors and it all began with the brothers. I had no idea where we’d be when this all started with Dom and Chiara and my love for these books began with them.

In this novella we get our truly deserved happily ever after for all four couples. Which, if you have read these books, you know that it’s well deserved. I could not have imagined a better ending to a great series! If you have not had the pleasure of reading this series, please do! You will not regret it!

Perfect ending to an amazing series!

The Devil's Demise was everything I never knew I needed , a collection of brilliantly written extended epilogues giving each set of characters one last voice.

I absolutely loved being back with them all, seeing how far they came after so much hurt and devastation , watching how much they embraced love and life. Its steamy and emotional I've got to admit I spent most of the time reading this with a huge smile on my face.

I'll definitely be sad to say goodbye to these characters but Lilian Harris has ended the series in the most perfect way 😊

The Devil’s Demise by Lilian Harris is an extended epilogue showcasing the couples from the previous four books in the Cavaleri Brothers series. Such a great way to wrap up a series and give readers a glimpse into the futures of couples that fought so hard to be together. Seeing how their love and family has grown both individually and collectively is an unexpected treat. Well done Lilian Harris. Well done!

What a beautiful ending to the Cavaleri Brothers series. It’s such a unique way to wrap up duties to a depth moody authors never give their readers, to know that they truly continue to get their HEA. It was satisfying to see the chemistry and love remain between each couple well into their future. It also was insanely fulfilling to see the healing journey and glimpses into how they overcame their individual traumatic experiences.

After all the heartache and trauma these couples have gone through together and as individuals, these extended epilogues were incredible and heartwarming.
To see how far they've come, to see the love, happiness, struggles, that they continue to live and help others. That they give back to those who are suffering while embracing each other and their families.
I loved all these they were wonderful.
