Throughout the series there was this big build-up towards the final battle and the defeat of Kaska so I expected something epic. Instead I got a battle that was over in a few lines and wasn't very exciting.
I loved the first book of the series but with each successive book my enthousiasm got less. The hunt for Kaska was drawn out too long and got a bit repetitive and boring. I think the last 3 books could've been condensed into 2 books, which would've made a much more exciting and action filled read.

Awesome
After having read the Renegade series I decided to continue reading the rest of the series.
Awesome plot lines and diverse characters.
Thoroughly recommend the whole series to anyone who is looking for a constant page turner.

The conclusion to the hunt for Kaska!
Kaska has obtained serum that turns his people into Celestials, however it is highly toxic and eventually kills the host. He is attacking many conscripted populations and laying traps for Delgado and her crew. Caliope makes a final appearance as do Diana, Matteo and the Emperor. Kaska is killed only to resurrect due to the serum, but in future encounters it is clear that he is deteriorating.The game of cat and mouse continues, but will conclude....
Action, adventure, intrigue, suspense, revenge, and my h more collide in this epic conclusion.

Unfortunately, the last book in this series! Alyss and her group of close friends and renegade fighters have gone up against a brutal, demonic ex senator who will stop at nothing to gain dominance. Alyss and her companions the only ones who stand in his way. Alyss will either win or die. An excellent read!! Enjoyed immensely!!

Loved it!
The only thing I didn't like about this book is that it was the end of the series. It's been so fun following Alyss and crew. This volume is an excellent wrap-up of their adventures. I look forward to seeing where Lerma and Chaney take us next.

Excellent Conclusion
This has been a terrific series. Each book was a well crafted storyline and enjoyable to read. Well as the old cliché goes, all good things must come to an end. Well done Molly and J.N!

Good Read
Very enjoyable series. This book was a fitting end ? Of the series. I like the interaction with the Renegade Universe. This series gave us a glimpse of the life in the Sarkodian Empire.

Enjoyed the series a lot more than I expected to, both JC and ML have crafted a worthy addition to the Jace Hughs stories.
