3.5/5

After the first book, this one is disappointing. I love Sarah. There was nothing wrong with the characters or the plot. That was perfect in every way. However, the length made everything so rushed. There wasn't a build up the way it happened it book 1. If this one was 100 paves to 150 pages longer, it would have been so much better.

I loved this book. The characters are so kind to each other. This is a good romance even for teens. There is no elicit sexual conduct and no major swear words. I loved the stories about gramps. This book can be read as stand alone but I feel it’s better if you read the series in order so you have some personal connections to the secondary characters. There is no cliffhanger and ends in a HEA! This writer is one of my new favorites I cannot wait for more of her books!

Instalove and selfdestuct botton

There might be spoilers ahead.

I enjoyed this book, it was a fast read and it has a lot of positive aspects, but there were some things that I think they might not have been for me.

The main characters were very lovable and relatable. I believed Sarah's (FL) condition, even though it seamed a bit too much at times. I felt for her, but I got a bit tired of the disease itself. I would have loved some moments between the two characters, without the disease being there like a third character. We get a glimpse at the end, but I would have wanted a bit more of that. Which I get, you can't get rid of a disease when you please, but you can please the readers by making the characters forget about it for a moment. But I found it funny how the disease itself was kinda like a selfdistruct botton.

The book is very entretaining, you have a lot of things going on, a lot of cute moments, and you just want to keep on reading.

I don't like that much instalove, and this one was a lot of instalove. The characters literally spent hours together, and they were in love with eachother in such a way that it literally wasn't healthy for Sarah. But then again is a person preference.

I enjoyed though the great chemestry between the characters, the dialogs, the goofyness, and the way both care about each other. I think something great about both Sarah and Marc, is that they care a lot about people, they are very humble, and they love deeply.

As for Marc (ML), I really liked his easy going and cheerful character, impulsive and atractive. But I would have liked for him to have a bigger reason of why was in the place where he got kidnapped. And then Sarah seamed to have forgotten about the purpuse she went there in the first place.

I don't think the bad guys were very believable. It was to easy for both Sarah and Marc to get away form them. But is a romance book, so I didn't mind them that much.

Another of my problems with the book was its structure. it didn't have the classic of three acts. The begining was very powerful, and I really liked it, but the ending felt rushed. Although we had an ending (the first book of the series doesn't, but it has a novella as an ending, but even if I was happy about reading the novela, I think I prefer having a selfconclusive book, and if I want to know more, go to the extra stuff).
Both books are great, and the stories are amazing. With this on was expecting a grand finale, but it was just ok.

SPOILER!

And can we just talk about the proposals? Why???? ¡They are milionares, please! And one thing, Sarah was complaining about David's proposal to Sarah, and then she got an even more lousy one?

¡END OF SPOILER!

I think this author has a very promising future, and I will keep on reading her books. I liked and enjoyed this book, but the first one is my favorite.

Age: Adult, but teens can read it too.
Language: None.
Love Scenes: Kissing, but nothing further
Violence: Yes, but mild
Recommended: Yes

This is the second book I have read in this series, and I love it. The romance is tender and believable with characters you can root for. I love how protective Mark is towards Sarah, and how he accepted her disease, though some of his actions hurt, for me, it made it more real.

The romance may seemed rushed, but I didn't mind as the couple complimented each other so well. The story is clean in regards to love scenes. There is some kissing, but nothing further, and I really enjoyed that. Sometimes, love scenes have a way of getting in the way of the story, and I'm glad this author decided to focus on building the relationship.

Definitely going to read more and I'm going to recommend this author and story with a big YES!!

When I read the plot of this book I wasn't quite sure what to think and I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it. However, I enjoyed the first book in the series so much that I jumped right into this one. Wow, I ended up loving the storyline. What the main character went through keeps running through my head. The strength she showed when she didn't think she had value because of her rare disease was inspiring. I loved how he showed her the value she had and helped her to see her strength. This was another great book from this author with fun twists and turns and the whole time you were rooting for the couple.

Saving My Billionaire Protector

Sarah and Mark have a wonderful story of danger with a bit of romance on the side. The story is fast paced, moving quickly from the first page to the last. Sarah suffers from an auto-immune disease that could cause her death if she gets too stressed out so when she is kidnapped with a strange man, life takes a deathly turn for her. Mark is an inventor who became a billionaire after his latest invention. When a gang member lures him in for a fake job interview, he finds himself kidnapped with a strange woman. The two of them find themselves drawn together in spite of all the danger surrounding them. I advise you to check this book out.

My heart went out to Sarah for the life she had lead and the life she was leading, Mark was so right for her, even when he was letting his mouth run off and they had communication issues. There is a lot going on in this story, new characters to meet, family, friends, connection, chemistry, good and not so good times, and plenty of love to hold your interest. For me personally, I would have liked to have seen Sarah at the end of this story as a Maid of honor surrounded by the people who love, care and protect her.

This storyline is full of drama, danger, kidnapping, rescues, multiple billionaires, an upcoming wedding, a self destruct button, helicopters, gang leaders, romance, misperceptions, strength and much more. Loved their chemistry even though it was a roller coaster ride through the whole book. The core of main characters were terrific, with fantastic abilities and always true to their friends, new and old. The ending was perfect.. After being blown away in the best way possible by Leena's debut, I couldn't wait to spend more time with the characters in this series, and this follow-up definitely did not disappoint.

Reasons I adored this book from first page to last:

The banter between Mark and pretty much everyone 😄
The chemistry and connection between Mark and Sarah; endearing, electric, intense, heart-tugging 😍
How their relationship progresses, believable and realistic
The fast-paced, high-stakes plot

I can't wait to see what she has in store for James!!

3 1\2***

I actually read book 3 first and then went backwards. This book actually starts out with a glaring issue. Chapter 2 is the same as chapter 1. I was shocked. Really this wasn't caught?
The story it self filled in the info on James' friend Mark which I enjoyed. The story kind of dragged for me. There were parts that I liked. I like Mark, James, and Lacy. While I understand that Sarah was in pain and she has issues with herself I just didn't connect with her.
Out of the two book 3 is my favorite. This is a clean read and I like that tremendously.
