Alpha Lowell is a grumpy wolf shifter. Isolated, independent, and he doesn’t need anyone’s help. Except… he kind of needs some help. In this day and age, as big-city society encroaches on the wild, a lone wolf roaming the woods is more likely to get shot by a hunter—or worse. Lowell needs a pack. And it just so happens that the Dusk Fall pack is accepting new members. And even better, they love his baking enough to pay for it.
When omega human Hank and his alpha twin sister Greer are gifted with a wilderness scavenger hunt, they feel obligated to participate, no matter how much they don’t mesh with the woods. Things go exactly as you would expect for a couple city slickers without any experience with the outdoors. Hungry, tired, and lost, they stumble on a cabin filled with the most delicious scent. Pies of every flavor! Surely it wouldn’t hurt to take a bite…
When Lowell comes home to find a whole batch of pies ruined, he demands the twins make things right. It’s a good thing Hank knows his way around a kitchen. Alone all night with a sexy omega makes Lowell’s temperature rise, and it’s not only the oven that gets hot. There’s no question they have great chemistry, but is this bitter wolf sweet enough? Or will their attempt at a relationship fall flat?
This was a fantastic retelling of Hansel and Gretel. Lowell is a grumpy Alpha living alone in the woods. Hank is an Omega who along with his Alpha sister gets lost in the woods. They happen upon Lowell's cabin where there is pie!! Overall, the story was fantastic, kept me glued to the pages! The story was well written with awesome pacing. Highly recommend!.
This is book three of the Fairest of Them All series each book reads as a standalone but connect on theme level of a retailing this one is Hansel and Gretel, it is one of the series that once you start you won’t stop until the last page has been turned so sit back relax with a glass of wine, coffee, or tea your choice you will need it 😊. Being alone is wonderful for a time but being with your own is even better and it takes some longer to realize it we need each other to survive animal and human alike. Lowell is a grumpy alpha with the ability to bake some amazing sweets and is a little tired of being alone especially in a big city. So while out making a delivery one day a brother/sister twin duo breaks into his home, eats all of his pies that are meant for delivery to his customers they were just so hungry and upon arriving home to see the thieves in his home, eating his pies and it sets him off in not a good way he was downright angry as he should be but he notices that one of the twins is his mate. Hank and his twin sister Greer (Hansel and Gretel) two city people don’t particularly like the woods or anything that it represents so when they are gifted a scavenger hunt they accept/participate out of obligation but they never imagined they would be lost in the woods, tired in the woods and most of all hungry in the woods all turned around so coming upon a house out in the woods with amazing smells coming from inside they couldn’t help themselves they just wanted a small taste or enough to stop the hunger pains but ending up eating them all. So, when the owner of said house walks in on them with their full bellies, he lets them have it. Both omega Hank and alpha Greer feel horrible, but Hank also feels the fated mate pull something neither of them can ignore and trying to make things right they offer to help him remake the pies so that he can get them delivered to his customers in time. The more time they spend together working the stronger the pull between them grows making the kitchen hotter and them unable to keep their hands to themselves but is it enough will Lowell learn to smile more, allow people in, learn to work with others, will Hank teach him the happier side to life, will the pack accept the grumpy wolf, his mate, and will they get their own HEA like all our fairytales?.

Omega Hunt and his Alpha twin sister Greer are gifted a scavenger hunt in the wilderness for their birthday. When they stumble upon a cottage whose door is open and the most delicious scent of baked goods coming from it. They can't help but let themselves in and once they see the pies they can't help themselves.
When Lowell comes home and finds his pies ruined and all his hard work wasted. He demands the twins set things right. Hunt and Lowell spend the night remaking the pies. While the heat builds in the kitchen it also burns between Hunt and Lowell.
I thought this book was excellent. I found it to be well written, easy to follow and kept me engaged. I thought the characters were brilliant and I immediately fell in love with them. I really enjoyed the authors writing style. The plot was fantastic, fast-paced and engaging, it didn't leave any unanswered questions. It kept me hooked throughout and needed to know what happened next. I haven't read the previous books in the series but I will most defiantly be going back and reading those now.
I found this book to be a cute, sexy and overall a really great read. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys MM romances, fairytale retellings and anyone who loves shifters and love.
This is book 3 in the Fairest Of Them All series. You can fully enjoy it without having read the previous books. This is a sweet take on the fairytale Hansel and Gretel. This is the story of Lowell and Hank. Lowell is an alpha wolf shifter. Known for his preference to be left alone his personality is set at grumpy.. He is a baker who is providing pies and treats to the local restaurants. He hopes to one day have a large bakery where he can bake. He doesn't want to interact with anyone. Just him and his pie dough and he would be happy. And if he feels lonely sometimes, that is to be expected. Hank is a human omega. He is most definately a city mouse. He and his alpha twin sister Greer are gifted a wilderness scavenger hunt for their birthday by their fathers. Hank and Greer immediately get lost. Tired and hungry they wander into Lowell's cabin following the delicious smell of pies. With no on there, they eat their fill. Planning on leaving money when they leave. Unfortunately Lowell comes home and finds his pie order destroyed. Upset about the blow to his reputation when he can't deliver the promised pies, he tells them both to leave. Hank feels bad about what they did and wants to help. He also feels a pull towards Lowell. That is the beginning of their story. This is a fun story that includes medical rescue and putting someone else first. It is not a smooth path to their happy ever after. This book is well written and easy to read. I enjoyed it and am looking forward to the final book in the series.

The kitchen wasn't the only thing heating up! Hansel and Gretel got a make over.
Hank and Greer received an all expense trip to be one with nature, by their dads. What was supposed to be a way to do something different, ended up becoming a means of survival. While trying to navigate the woods, they discover a house with yummy pies. So yes, they eat their way through tasting every single one. Lowell returns and is both livid and defeated. Hank offers to pay but he knows he's unable to do so. Lowell is even grumpier than usual because of all the work he'll need to put into remaking the losses. Feeling the pull, Hank offers to stay behind and help him. Greer is skeptical but leaves to find her way back to camp. Here's where things quickly take a steamy turn. After a night to remember, Hank realizes something is wrong. Turns out Greer never made it to safety. Lowell enlists the help of fellow shifters. Hank's still unaware Lowell is also a shifter. After the rescue, Hank decides to remain in the woods with Lowell. It's clear they can't be apart from one another. Time to come clean. Hank takes all the shifter news surprising well under the circumstances. Slowly but surely, Lowell is less grump and more lovable. A doting mate, hands on dad and back to running a business, with his mate by his side.
In this story, we got more Hank and less Greer. Although she made her protective and humorous appearances, Lowell and Hank were definitely the focus.
I love this series. This is the third book in the Fairest of Them All series and is my new favorite...although I have not yet read the fourth book, Rebel. The series takes place in and involves the residents of Dusk Fall, a smallish town whose residents are mostly wolf shifters. Each book is the story of how a wolf shifter found his mate...who always happens to be human. This book includes the special bonus theme of a grumpy pants wolf shifter who just wants to be left alone. That desire might be completely undone by a certain city omega who happens upon his cozy cottage in the woods. Fret not, the only things eaten are grumpy pants baked goods.
The authors (Colbie Dunbar, Trisha Linde, and Harper B. Cole) make a point of creating lovable kindhearted characters who have either lost their way in life or become jaded for one reason or another. I love the turning points in these stories...when characters like grumpy pants realize that perhaps all we really need is a little love...and in this case some pie.

Lowell is an alpha wolf shifter. He was a very successful baker in the city but he got tired of the crowds, noise and people and decided to move to the woods on a mountain for some peace. He has joined a pack but is known for being anti-social. He continues to do baking in his cabin in the woods and delivers his goods to local restaurants. One day he comes home to find two human twins in his cabin eating his pies. He loses his temper.
Hans and Greer are twins and for their birthday, their parents bought them a nature scavenger hunt weekend. Neither one are thrilled but they don't want to disappoint their parents. Their first day out, the two get lost and find a cabin in the woods by following the wonderful baking smells. They enter the cabin and can't resist the pies that are cooling in the kitchen. When Lowell comes back, Hans feels really guilty for ruining his pies and insists on staying and helping Lowell fill his orders.

Hank and Lowell story was a retelling of Hansel and Gretel with a wolf shifter twist and a unique way of seeing the story where the witch is a wolf shifter and one of our protagonists. I really loved to see the way Lowell finds his forever mate and forms the family that brings him happiness, the way the pack support him is his time of need and how Hank’s family finds a place in his heart. I loved the narrative and the characters dynamic, the way they connect and how Hank reacts to Lowell's wolf. I loved the pack, the way Lowell bakery prospers, the help he gets in expanding it and in the way he hires help and trains the new employees. I loved the birthing scene and their mating scene as well as the way his sister finds her way in his new family, the love and joy the little one brings to his parents and how they succeed to have a happy family and a successful business. I enjoyed the read and I'm looking forward to see what happens next.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story and as I would recommend it to anybody who enjoys reading MPreg MM stories. Lowell Is a grumpy alpha baker who has moved to pack lands to get away from people. When he’s out delivering his baking goods Hank and his twin sister Greer break into his house and eat his pies which he is supposed to deliver to his customers. When he gets home and discovers the thieves in his home he goes ballistic and his wolf recognises Hank as his mate. Hank helps him to make more pies and things turn into more than he bargained for, not only is there a rescue but also he realises that he can’t do without Hank and Hank feels the same way about him. They go on to making lots more pies and sweet treats and love and before you know it Hank is pregnant and they have a future in front of them which is very happy and fulfilled.

You will not want the story to end This is a nervous fairytale with a twist and in this book we are taking on Hansel and Gretel. Omega Hank and Alpha Greer are twins A.k.a. Hansel and Gretel They got a scavenger hunt ticket from their parents for their birthdays. They’re not overly keen on the woods but they looking forward to it. Lowell Is one grumpy alpha. But he is one amazing baker. When he comes back from his deliveries he realises something is terribly wrong. But will he say grumpy??
These two are just amazing. You can feel the energy coming off of them. I was so happy, I hate seeing grumpy shifters so I was truly happy when they realise that they were fated mates. I will admit that I got a soft spot for LOwell When he held that pup in his arms and you just knew he didn’t wanna give him back. Another fantastic read can’t wait for the next book in the series.

Always fun reading about a frown turning upside down. Lowell, sold his bakery and is holed up baking and delivering the goods. He is easily overwhelmed with all of his orders. Twins Hank and Greer accept a scavenger hunt birthday weekend from their parents. As neither is the outdoorsy type, they make the basic mistake of not paying attention and get lost. Even though they are out of their element, they are troopers with their directionally dysfunctional selves. They come upon Lowell's house with his pies waiting for him to box and deliver and think they can eat what they find, as long as they leave some money. They are hungry afterall. When Lowell returns, he has several revelations. Hank, is human. Hank is his mate and Hank has no idea shifters exist. Is Lowell ready to welcome a partner? What does Lowell do about the missing pies? Does Hank step up? Does Lowell quiet his grump? Fun story. Cute surprises. Nice story. I received an ARC and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Seared, will leave you seared!!! Sexy and steamy Alpha shifter and his human omega mate will keep you on the edge of your seat.
Harper B. Cole, Colbie Dunbar, and Trisha Linde bring you Seared, the third book in the Fairest of Them All series. The novel features an alpha wolf learning what it means to belong, an omega willing to take a leap of faith, a lucky encounter at just the right time to save them both, an unexpected pregnancy, an adorable baby, and a most scrumptious HEA. If you love stories featuring a couple determined to beat the odds to find their happily ever after, you will love this!!!.

This twist on the fairy tale was a delight. I enjoyed this one in the series a little more and rated it higher. Its the grumpy alpha Lowell that won me over. He had many layers and he gave me all kinds of feels from the beginning til the end. Loved that scene where he caught Hank and his sister Greer eating his pies...all the emotions he went through told me a lot about him and I knew he was gonna be a good guy...the alpha that Hank can depend on and love for always. I must say I was a little disappointed with the twins parents and hope they could redeem themselves a little maybe towards the end but it didn't take away from my overall enjoyment of this sweet tale. Loved it and can't wait to read more in the series.
Grumpy alpha wolf-shifter baker Lowell makes really popular sweets. He lives in a house a bit out of town and is happy in his craft but does not like being around people. But he does make tasty baked goods that are much in demand. His business is thriving and growing. When human omega Hank and his sister Greer are gifted a scavenger hunt in the woods by their parents these city folks find themselves lost and happen near Lowell's cabin when he is not there but there are pies and they help themselves. For Lowell and Hank this is the best breaking and entering ever as it helps the fated mates to find one another and changes both of their lives for the better. This was too cute.

This series is fantastic. Romantic with just the right amount of suspense, and of course, HEA. Lowell loves his life of solitude and his bakery in the woods. When lost twins Hank and Greer invade his home and eat the pies that were for sale, he's beyond angry. Too bad Hank is his fated mate! When a mishap leaves Greer lost and injured, Lowell's pack pulls together to make things right. Watching Hank's transition from city boy to country mouse is so worth it. Doesn't hurt that he knows his way around the kitchen...or at least can take directions. Fall in love along with them. There are loyal friends, Pack, mpreg, and an adorable baby. You are gonna love this book!.

This is another great book to read about shifters. It is also a fairy tale story. Alpha wolf shifter Lowell moved to the country because he was tired of being a lonely city wolf and he need to be able to run when he wanted. Lowell loves to bake in his large kitchen. Omega human Hank and his Alpha sister Greer were gifted a Weekend Wilderness Scavenger Hunt for their birthday. Hank is not an outdoors person. After getting lost they find a cabin with pies. They eat some of each pie. When Lowell comes back home he is upset. What will happen next? Will Hank stay after he helps with the pies? What happens to Hanks sister?.

Hank hates his job. He doesn't seem to think things will get any better either. He and his sister, Greer, share an apartment and barely making it. Their parents gift them a scavenger weekend in the woods where they get lost. Lowell is a wolf shifter, a loner, a baker and not overly friendly to anyone. Hank and his sister get lost and find Lowell's house that is full of pies of all kinds and help themselves. Lowell comes home and finds his pies violated and two strangers in his kitchen, one of which is his mate!
This sweet read is just what I needed on a rainy day. Harper and Colbie are excellent writers, together and separate. I am off to read the next book in the series!.

I loved this book! The storyline reminded me of a fairy tale I read as a kid and I had to read this one. (I know this is a take/retelling of Hansel and Gretel, but I know I once read a story where someone finds pies cooling on a window of a cottage and eats them. Can't for the life of me remember what that story was.) I thought this story was perfect! A really sweet story about love and family. Great world building. But it was the characters that captivated me as I completely fell in love with them. A sweet- and sexy- fairy tale retake. This book is my favorite in the series so far! Excellent! 5 stars.

While on a delivery, Hank and Greer get lost and break into his house and eat his pies. When Lowell returns to find this, he is both angry and sad. Hank wants to make things better for this sexy alpha which leads to much more. Greer tries to return to the camp but ends up in trouble. Lowell enables her rescue and gets Hank as his mate. Lowell and Hank's courtship is very sweet in more than one way.

Hank and his twin sister, Greer, get lost and find Lowell’s, a grumpy wolf shifter baker, house in the woods, they eat parts of his pies that he needs to deliver to a nearby restaurant. He is incensed and Hank decides to stay and help him remake the pies. There is a connection between them as Hank is Lowell’s mate. The story is short but gives good vibes and shows how a pack considers those close to them family, even when they want to be left alone. A great story of family and community.
I loved this story between Lowell a wolf shifter who is a baker and Hank who is a human. Hank and his sister Greer were doing a scavenger hunt in the woods when they stumbled upon Lowell's cabin and proceeded to eat all of the pies he made. Lowell is grumpy and has always been on his own and when he discovers two humans feasting on his creations he doesn't know what to do. I loved the connection and dynamic they had together and I can't wait to read the next book for Mac and Giles!!!!!.

I am loving this series. This one is loosely based off of Hansel and Gretel. Alpha wolf shifter Lowell comes home to find his precious pies have been eaten by the lost human omega Hank and his alpha twin sister Greer. They are so funny with their obsession with food. Hank feels bad and offers to help Lowell remake the pies, but being in the kitchen together has more than the oven temperatures rising. This was a sweet and fun story about these two fated mates. I enjoyed the friendly competitions between Lowell and Greer.
This is a paranormal shifter romance with mpreg, the third book in a series that doesn’t have to be read in order but it will give it away. This was a pretty low angst, lust at first sight, faded mates story. I felt like the first two were cute but I wanted more meat to this story; the high caliber of the cover, description and concept just left me a little disappointed in the end. It’s still cute, worth an afternoon to read but I couldn’t give this more that 3.3 stars
Hank and Lowell's story was fantastic! I loved the connection and chemistry between Hank and Lowell (Lowell's wolf and Hank too). There is a little bit of drama but nothing some love and pie making can't fix! I really enjoyed this retelling of Hansel and Gretel and I can't wait for Rebel! I would recommend this book, this series, and these great authors.

This is the third book in the authors' fairy tale retelling series, but the first one I've read and I am probably going to go back and read the others. I read this over a couple of hours, and it was delightful. This has some of my favorite story elements - shifters, fated mates, just a touch of conflict and some spice. The first time our two main characters get together is full of tension and build up (hottt), and the story flows smoothly from there. The characters are enjoyable, and [spoiler] I liked that the character's reveal as a wolf shifter to his human mate didn't cause a huge conflict. That...can get old as a plot point. As someone with a sweet tooth, I enjoyed all the baking mentions too. An easy, fun, steamy read - great for a lazy afternoon or a trip to the beach!.
Maybe Hansel wouldn’t have minded so much to be eaten by the witch if she had instead been a grumpy wolf? With grumpy Lowell and his delicious pies I wouldn’t mind, so I completely get Hank’s fascination and would eagerly stay with the lone wolf. Happy for the HEA.

This is such a great series to read. It seems like the residents of this town are slowly finding love. It’s great to read about their family dynamic and all the joy they find at the end. I can’t wait to read the next one.

A entertaining read. A modern day fairytale story. This is book three in this series Fairest of Them All. The story flows well, the characters are likeable and fit well together. Their chemistry is steamy. You will read this book in one sitting.
Seared is a Hansel and Gretel MM romance reimagining and contains a wolf shifter and a human. Overall it was a very enjoyable read with good characters, some emotion, and steamy scenes.
