She's all grown up. She's drop-dead beautiful. And she's trouble with a capital T!

Wilderness adventurer, Andrew Meyer, likes simple. A simple life, a simple job, a simple everything. So when his old school bestie, India Mallen arrives on his family’s mountain resort with her complicated family situation, Andrew heads for the hills, literally. But not even the perfect stillness of the mountains can stop the pounding of his heart whenever he thinks of her.

India has always been the white sheep of her wayward family. But regardless of how far she runs, the consequences of their actions seem to follow her. And even more so now that she’s a successful musician earning pounds in the UK.

When the needs of her broken family demand more than ever before from her, will India be willing to sacrifice the growing love she’s kindled with her old school mate? Or will Mr Simple stand up and be the man Indie needs to help weather this storm?

A lighthearted friends-to-lovers Christian romance with a touch of mystery!

I received an ARC copy and this review is my honest opinion. Ashley Winter has yet again shown us how having faith will always trump our fear. Loving how the lives of the characters in book 1 have continued to play a part in book 2 and hoping to see more of them in the books ahead. Feel connected to their lives. Bit homesick too for the hills of Natal!!

I loved this book. I read it soon after the first book in the series, and I admit I felt that one ended too soon - but it was awesome how the story continued and new threads wove together with the original ones. These two (Andrew and Indie) are stunning characters and the storyline really draws you in from the very beginning. Mystery, suspense, intrigue, romance... its all in here!! Highly recommended! Well done Ashley Winter!!
I did receive an ARC and this is my own, honest opinion.

I have cried ugly tears, I have laughed out loud, I have felt the rumble of thunder in my chest. I feel like I know these characters IRL. A really good follow on from the previous book in the series. What a beautiful story of letting go and letting God.

I received an ARC copy and this review is my honest opinion. Book 2 in this series which is the perfect follow on from book 1. The characters from book 1 continues to play a part in book 2. Andrew and Indie’s story is just wonderful how they reconnect after 10 years and all the obstacles they overcome. Just re-establishes your faith and God is in control. Definitely another page turner!!

Another wonderful story from Ashley. I loved how Luke and Vanessa’s story continued in this book, along with Indie and Andrew’s love story. There is a thread of mystery through the book which keeps you hooked and on the edge of your seat. Once you start this book you won’t be able to put it down!

India and Andrew were best friends but lost touch after school. Ten years later they again made contact when she needed a place to film a music video for her latest release. This time they found that their feelings may be more than just friendship but Indie had family problems to solve and Andrew never wanted the complications of a relationship. I loved their story, also loved reading further of Luke and Vanessa's, whom we met in the first book, journey. As usual, an excellent read from this author. I received an ARC copy and am leaving a voluntary review.

I enjoyed this book as much as the first one, I was intrigued by the so called escaped patient. Love the way the story developed and the finish was so amazing, the way every good love story ends.
