Fake fiancées for a week. Lovers for a lifetime?
Amara
When my boss has this brilliant idea which features me and the office hot shot posing as fake fiancées for a week, I balk. In no uncertain terms. I mean, Petro Mikalos is ten years my junior, and he’s gorgeous—like an actor or a model. Who is going to believe we are starry-eyed fiancées planning a wedding?
This assignment is a chance to prove I’m worthy of a promotion, so I’ll do it. But I won’t like it—much.
Petro
When my boss asks me to pose as a fake fiancée to my office crush, Amara Gabriel, I’m all in. She doesn’t seem as excited about the plan as I am, but the chance to be alone with her is too good to pass up. Even if it means re-living the worst time in my life—my first wedding ended in tragedy.
And the assignment is in California, which means my parents will expect me to visit. I haven’t spoken to my famous movie producer father in three years, and I don’t want to start now. But I’ll risk it for the chance at a promotion—and to get close to Amara.

The heart wants what the heart wants…
So Right is the fifth book in the Love Grows series by Renee Regent. This is a superb contemporary romance with ‘fake fiancé’, office romance, and reverse age gap elements.
Amara Gabriel desperately wants to prove that she is ready for a promotion, and to do so she agrees to pretend to be engaged to her much younger and very hunky co-worker, Petro Mikalos. She isn’t sure their engagement will be believable, as she is a decade older than Petro, but seeing that it is her boss’s idea she just goes with it. While Petro has crushed on Amara from afar, so he is only too happy to play the part of her doting fiancé. Their ‘assignment’ has them heading to California- which is where Petro’s family live- Petro has been estranged from his movie producer father for 3 years, but he knows that a visit will be expected while in California. The more time they spend together, the harder it is to remember their relationship is fake. Can anything real come from pretending to be in love? Well as fate would have it…..
A wonderful addition to the series which seem to get better and better with each new instalment.
Happy Reading!

Thank you, Renee Regent!

So Right is a sweet reverse age gap romance story. I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Amara and Petro. These two are so oblivious at first but it is wonderful reading about them coming together and seeing they are what the other needs. I laughed at how on the money their thoughts of each other were. It was wonderful reading about a protagonist in my age range that I could easily relate to. I am so happy that these two found each other. This was a nice, easy romantic read.

Cute and fun reverse age gap, forced proximity, fake fiancé, undercover assignment, workplace romance.

I really enjoyed the character reveal of both the Amara and Petro. We get to know each person little by little, but it doesn’t leave you needing to know ALL the details about each of them right away. In fact, I think the reveal of the past of each of them was very well done without being overplayed (our pasts make up who we are today so those experiences influence how and what we do). This book is told from both her and his POVs so we get an insight into what each of them are thinking and feeling.

I loved the tension between them in the beginning. It wasn’t overdone. I do think it moved a little fast from her not really liking him to looking at him with more intent, but I can appreciate how his opening up to her was enough to soften her resolve against him without it feeling like “instalust”. I did also enjoy that they didn’t just jump into bed together once they realized the other was also attracted but thought out their feelings and the potential consequences (sort of).

I enjoyed the undercover work and the details that came from that. The author did a wonderful job giving enough details of Amara and Petro scouting the Inn to keep you engaged without bogging you down with the nuances of the rolls the characters played.

I also really loved the supporting characters, John (the boss), and the family members of both Petro and Amara. They are (almost) all so supportive of their respective character and bring some added oomph to the story. We also get a quick look at/update on Audrey, who was the FMC in book 3, Not So Far, in this series.

While this is the first book in this series, and of this author, that I’m reading, I’m certainly putting more on my TBR list!

I have been a loyal fan to this author as well as this series for quite some time. I LOVE truly how each story is different, and upholds itself in a special way. The characters in this one were relatable, and wonderful all at the same time. The story was a beautiful read, and it was very realistic, and the story was connectable!

As with the other books in the series, the story is worthy with the turns the stories can and do take. I love that personally. This one was good in so many ways. Amara and Petro were hard not to love! Both career driven to get what they want in the world of business, but is that really what they want, when they agree to do a "pretending act" together, to help seal and sweeten the deal? I loved how their connections were felt, but ignored. And neither noticed what they had going on at first glance. What they had was real yes, but they had to work for it, and I mean really work for it! With all great things, sacrifices are not far behind. When it comes down t getting what you want, how can you be sure what that really is? There was a lot of character growth as well. And as the plot thickened, the walls between Amara and Petro seemed to decrease more and more. It was a wonderful read, that you get caught up in, and simply can not let go of once you begin reading! Highly recommend the book and series! Loved it!

Highly recommend the author and this series if you have not have had the wonderful moments to read this series or wonderful author as of yet! This story alone is a must read for sure. I felt a lot of emotions while reading, all good things. A high recommendation from me and for sure, a must read!

This is the fifth book in a fantastic series that I have loved so far. I’m pretty sure that I have given the previous 4 books a five star rating and this one is the same. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone. The main characters from the previous books do make a brief appearance in this book but apart from it being nice to see them again, you are not missing any information needed to enjoy this book.
This book is a ‘fake fiance’ trope and also an office romance. Amara Gabriel is asked by her boss to play fake fiancé with colleague Petro Mikalos to visit a hotel that their company wants to buy to do an investigation. I’m a major sucker for a fake romance novel and this is a fantastic example of one.
Petro has fantasized about Amara since he started working at the company but she’s 10 years his senior and he thinks he has no chance of her liking him. The more time Amara spends with Petro, the more she likes him. She admires his work ethic and he’s pretty hot too.
I loved reading about Amara and Petro. I really liked both characters and found them very easy to read about and the storyline is very entertaining which keeps you engrossed in the story.
I really hope that the author continues with this series as I’ve loved all five books so far.

This is the 5th book in the Love Grows series. Even though it is part of a series it can be read as a standalone and it is still completely enjoyable. The author does an amazing job with her characters. I like how fiesty their personalities are and also how she gives them both deep painful pasts. This to me makes the characters really come alive and explains why they are so against and unsure about what they are feeling.

Amara is a successful woman. She loves her career but is looking for ways to improve and progress. So when her boss give her the opportunity go and investigate a Inn for weddings she is excited to prove what she can do.
However there's a catch. She has to go undercover with a Petro her handsome colleague and pretend they are looking to get married. Amara doesn't like this idea, with one failed marriage she doesn't want to even think about it again especially not with her younger handsome colleague.

Petro has always fancied Amara but with her walls so high he has never dared to approach her. He sees this assignment as a chance to get close to her and allow her to see the real him. Pretending to be a couple seems a good idea, but what happens when pretending crosses over to being real? And will their past stop this budding relationship before it even begins?

An enjoyable contemporary romance with a fake fiancé theme. In order to prove she’s worthy of a promotion, Amara Gabriel agrees to pretend to be engaged to her younger, handsome colleague. Petro Mikalos is the office hot shot and is ten years younger than Amara, so she doesn’t think anyone would believe they were starry-eyed fiancées planning a wedding. However, unknown to Amara, Petro has an office crush on her and so jumps at the opportunity to pose as her fake fiancé when asked by their boss. Petro has bad memories of his first wedding which ended in tragedy but he’s willing to re-live it if it means spending time with Amara.
The assignment is in California, and so the couple must travel together as fiancé’s. Unfortunately Petro’s parents live there and so will expect a visit, but he haven’t spoken to his famous movie producer father in three years. He’s willing to risk it for the chance of a promotion, and to spend time with and get close to Amara. Although book five in a series it can be read as a standalone story. I’ve enjoyed the whole series and this one was just as engaging as the others. The author has a way of immersing you into the story and makes the setting and characters come to life.

So Right (Love Grows Series Book 5) by Renee Regent

4 out of 5 Stars

If you can’t get the feels reading this story, then why are you reading romance? This author creates characters that feel real. They are not perfect. They are not billionaires. They are wonderful everyday people just trying to make it. Amara and Petro are no different. Each have their flaws. But, together, they are flawless.

Amara can’t see Petro as a partner in the beginning, despite her crush, due to the age difference. Petro also has a crush on Amara, but thinks she is out of her league. When they are thrown together for a work project where they pretend to be a couple, they discover so much about each other. Will they be willing to cross the lines to give a relationship a try? Will each’s past derail their future? Can Amara see past the age difference?

This is my first in the series but I am willing to spend a weekend catching up!! I love these characters and how human they seem. Amazing storytelling!!!

1st off I'd like to say I absolutely loved this book! I was hooked from the very 1st page. If I didn't have kids and the need to sleep I would've NEVER put the book down.
I really enjoyed that it wasn't one of those love at first sight stories. While I enjoy reading those as well. The fact that there was a little distaste between them made me want to keep going to see how that would be turned around.
I liked that even though this was book 5 in a series you could read it as a standalone. There was mention of characters from the previous stories but there wasn't anything that made it seem like you had to read them before reading this one. However if you do read them out of order the author writes such amazing stories you're gonna want to read them all anyway.
Also I don't know if it was just my imagination getting caught up in the story or if the author intentionally wrote the story with accents but I swear I could hear the Greek accent in my head.

Can they convince people that they are engaged to be wed? Amara doesn't think it is possible, but with the possibility of a promotion in sight she couldn't pass up this opportunity. It didn't hurt that the man slated to play her fake fiancée, Petro, was movie star handsome. Petro is looking to prove that he is good enough to make it on his own. When he finds out that he has an opportunity to make a good impression and possibly get a promotion he jumps at the opportunity. The upside to this impromtu trip is that he will get to spend more time with Amara. The downside is that it will be in California where his family resides. Will they be able to pull this off without a hitch? Or will their fake romance turn into something more?

I just want to start this off by saying that I have a hard time trying books by authors I have never heard of before. This is the first time I have read anything this author has written and I enjoyed it immensely.

So Right (Love Grows Book 5)
By Renee Regent

4 stars

This was a great reverse age gap romance read, it’s the fifth book in the Love Grows series. A series that I have not read so I can honestly say that this book can be read as a standalone as I had no difficulty reading this one.

This author had me hooked right from the get go, the connection between the main characters was so believable and with all the details written it was incredibly easy to picture everything playing out in my mind.

This author took great attention to detail which really heightened the reading experience and made the story so much more enjoyable, now that I’ve finished this book I will be diving into the first four books of the series!!

This story is one of the most fabulous romances that I have read this year, with a fake fiancé theme who could resist? This story was brilliant and unique, and full of crushes, love, secrets, drama and more. This author takes us on. A topsy turvy roller coaster ride through out characters lives. Amara needs a fake fiancé for a promotion and Petro is a hot shot at the office that just jumps at the chance to fill the role. But will everyone believe that these two are two lovebirds planing a wedding? Will real emotions come into play or will they be able to walk away from each other when their done? If you want to know the answers to these questions you’ll have to read this book to find out for yourself.

This author has quickly become one that I’d read absolutely anything by. And once again I found myself completely drawn into one of the stories created. From the beginning I knew I wouldn’t be putting this book down until the end and I was completely right. Instantly I just felt like I was there seeing this story play out in front of me. The author does awesome job of writing not only great storylines but characters that are easy to connect with and root for. This was a fun read and I’ll definitely be adding it to my rereading list. It’s a well written storyline and I’m always sad when I end one from this series but enjoyed my time with the characters. Five stars all the way and highly recommended!

“Though I loved my job, I had begun to sense I was capable of so much more.”

Amara and Petro are up for a promotion working for a resort company. The catch is they have to pretend to be fiancés to get the inside scoop of a potential hotel and wedding venue in California. Amara is concerned with the age-gap as she is about 10 years older than Petro.

Amara was also tasked with evaluating Petro’s performance and digging up any skeletons in his closet. They’ll be back in his home town and it will give Amara a look into Petro’s past and with his estranged father.

This was a sweet read with great inner dialogue between the two characters. I enjoyed how they both worked through their past wedding traumas together and had open communication through most of the book.

So Right, was so right in so many ways! This author is starting to become a favorite of mine. Though I think I need to go back and reread all in this series as a refresher.
Petro & Amara, what is there to say?!? Amara wanted nothing to do with this fake fiancé assignment. Petro looked at it as a potential opportunity. Did everything work out for them?
These 2 characters are written with so much pain in their past, it makes one feel for them. Are they able to move past it, or does it hold them back?
Part of a series but very much a standalone novel in its own right. It’s a sweet romance! If that’s your thing? Take a chance, and as you read you will understand why.

This is the fifth book in the Love Grows series, it can be read as a stand alone story. Petro and Amara are asked by their boss to look into a property that is an opportunity for the business in the wedding industry. Can they pretend to be engaged? Amara wants nothing to do with this plan. Petro has a secret crush on Amara, can they sacrifice and jump hurdles to be together?
An age gap story that had me invested from the first page. An amazing author that draws me in and makes me fall in love with the characters.

This is such a cute read! A fake dating to lovers, age gap romance that is such a sweet story. Amara has been stung by love and vowed to not let herself be in that position again. Petro has been focused so much on work, he doesn’t have time to venture into dating. When the two of them are assigned to pretend to be engaged, what could possibly develop between them? This book reminded me of a Hallmark movie and it’s a very easy to read book. Even though it’s book 5, it’s a great stand alone novel and doesn’t require you to read the previous books in the series.

Wow, this story was sizzling. Between the fake engagement, being co-workers, and the job assignment of a lifetime, there’s plenty to love and swoon over. Amara is actually ten years older than Petro, but that isn’t bothering him. He has been crushing over his co-worker for a while. They are given an assignment to check out a property that their company wants to acquire. While on this trip, they step away from their job personas and get to know each other on a more personal level. If you love the forbidden romance, this one is for you. Great love story!

One supposedly brilliant idea. One promotion. One office crush. One week of being a fake fiancée. Does age matter?
This is a wonderful addition to the series. The books in this series can be read as standalones but I suggest reading the books in order because they are enjoyable reads and there are references to previous characters. We are now at book five in this great romance series.
This story is of an older woman, younger man not that it matters when love is concerned. The characters, each have a painful past, but can they get over it to see what is right in front of them?

This is yet another strong addition to this series. I'm loved the whole feel of the book and I really thought the characters brought it to life. The connection between them was evident right from the word go. I'm not always a huge fan if age gaps stories but I thought the author did a great job of creating characters that were believable and engaging. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and would recommend this whole series.

Sorry but I think I must have been reading a different book to the other reviewers. This was so boring. None of the characters came to life and h/H had no chemistry at all. I gave up half way through. Sorry but this is definitely not my cup of tea.

It was John Colebank that put Amara and Pedro go to California to act like a engaged couple. They are in Atlanta GA. Pedro has fantasized about Amara for months. They end up getting together for real. John is paying for their wedding in California.

So Right: A Fake Fiancee Reverse Age Gap Romance (Love Grows Series #5) by Renee Regent

This is the first book I've read by the author. I will be looking for the others in the Love Grows Series. So Right is the fifth book in the series and is a fantastic read.

Amara is the assistant of the CEO and wants to be promoted. She loves her job and everything that comes with it. That's until she's asked to go look at a property pretending to be engaged to Petro. Her own past comes back to haunt her on the trip. The quote I chose for Amara is: “Thank you for everything, Petro. You are making this whole thing so much better than I imagined.”

Petro has moved out of California after his life went to Hell and he hasn't been back. Now he's being sent back to work on a project. Will it help his career or will it deter it? Can he find his happily ever after? “No, nothing like that. Well, he was very critical. He would get angry with me after I’d done something stupid or got into trouble. He’d lecture me about how I had embarrassed him, and what a loser I was, not living up to my potential. Even when I did do something right, he’d dismiss it. I guess we fell into a dynamic where I could never please him. After having been his favorite who could do no wrong, it kind of messed me up.”

Highly recommended for Contemporary Romance lovers.

This is the fifth book in this series. It is just as great as the previous books which I highly suggest reading the previous books to help your enhancement of this author’s writing skills. This is an author that I have enjoyed reading from the first book I picked up by her. I never hesitate to pick up one of her books. I know that I am in for a great romance story. This is a well written story that takes romance to another level. The characters are relatable and give the story life. They are strong, supportive characters that made the story easy and entertaining to read. I enjoyed their chemistry as well as their growth throughout the story. Amara and Petro are both trying to prove that they deserve the promotion at work. How far are they willing to go for this promotion? What will fate have in store for these two? This is a great story with great plot growth. I highly recommend this book and this author.

I was so excited to get my hands on this fifth installment of the Love Grows series! It was absolutely everything I thought it would be too, just wonderful and romantic and sweet! This book had me hooked right from the very start with the premise of Amara and Petro both vying for this promotion and being both deserving. Both of them are so cute and have this attraction so the assignment isn’t going to kill them but it later develops its own issues and that is where the novel really comes in with the hard hitting feels and twists and turns that just make you keep reading past your bedtime to see if these two will get the happily ever after you so badly want them to. I so much hope for more in this series and if you haven’t had a chance to check out the rest of them I would run and do so. They are all wonderful couples and reads!

So, this is the fifth book in the amazing Love Grows Series, and it was exactly what I needed. This series is great if you haven’t read it, but I will say this wasn’t my absolute favorite so far. That would belong to book three. However, it was just as good. I never hesitate to read this series of books. While they can be read in order, it’s not required, and you can choose to read as a stand-alone book also. Although, I don’t recommend that just because I think she is such a wonderful writer and her romance writing skills are spot on. I always say that I want the kind of romance she writes about. This book is filled with that romance, a few twists and turns along the way, and some major excitement. If you are into a lot of sizzling romance, this is a book for you.

Age gap is truly one of my favorite tropes. There is something sexy yet sweet about the process of people with years between them taking that leap. This is book 5 in the series and my first read by this Author. This was a great story, and the characters were relatable and likeable.
Amara and Petro were great together. The chemistry and feelings were there but they had meet in the middle finding where their love came in. Amara was concerned with Petro being younger than her, and Petro was worried that Amara would never be with a man like him. They were 2 loyal, successful, and career driven individuals. Each with a past, but also each wanting love. This was a great read and I enjoyed watching their love story unfold.

What a wonderful story! It rolls along nicely and completely enthralled me. I was enjoying the building relationship between these two as well as the troubled pasts. Then there is the family drama that comes along. There is a lot to like about this story.

While I don't normally enjoy age-gap romances this one is very well done. I liked that they were hesitant for more reasons than just age. This is a slower romance as the story gets set up then it takes off. It feels very believable and that makes their togetherness more sexy and hot.

Overall this is a fun, flirty and sexy story. The characters are done well and fully believable. This isn't my first book by this author and she never lets me down.
