I Highly recommend to read this amazing book of United States greatest President, Abraham Lincoln, with virtue, honesty, integrity, drive and dedication for his country & its community in a very positive path.
In my younger days, a few family vacations focused on Lincoln or things in which Lincoln was involved (The Civil War for example). I enjoyed the snippets about Lincoln in this book. It was an easier read than most business/leadership books, and it held my interest (whereas most of the books written on this subject have not).
I have always admired Abraham Lincoln. Was good to learn more about him and his qualities. The book is useful too, if you want to make an intentional move to being more like him. It offers suggestions to get you started. It is not long, but it has enough in it to get you practising more intentional ways to improve. As I said, useful.
It was a good summation of principles to follow, with Lincoln as the anecdote. Mostly a Cliff Notes-like version of others’ biographies mixed with common quotes like “readers are leaders”.
