Reckless Reunion is just... well... reckless. Too many plot/twist involved and it seems they tried to battle each other out for climax.
Miss Christy mixing too many things into it. I got confuse in the middle. When the final twist reveals, it finally dawned on me what is actually going on between the characters, the plot and the drama.
This could be much better book. Much better if only the plot can be constructed better.

This one wasn’t for me. I hated how this series ended. I hated everything about Garrett and Reece’s story. I hated Reece mostly. I know that people need to forgive and move on, but this was a lot. It was too much that Garrett was expected to forgive and forget about. For me, it was how he had no one on his side. Everyone treated him like he just needed to get over someone accidentally stepping on his toe or something. But Reece literally tore his whole life apart. And the really sad part is that he didn’t even know the half of what she had done to him.
Here’s the biggest thing. I get that Reece was young when all of the bad stuff happened. But she made terrible life choices and blamed them on Garrett. And I get that she was upset when she found out about her song. But given all that she did, going after the band with a high priced attorney was an ... interesting move. And it taints all of the success that she achieved in my eyes. And it made me hate everything about her relationship with Garrett. Garrett deserved so much better. Better from his parents, from his own brother, even from his bandmates.
This was just a disappointing way to end this.

This is the first time I’m going to say this about a Samantha Christy’s book but is the truth. I didn’t enjoy this one as much as all her other books. I don’t think it was the writing it was the story line. Reece was not my favorite. Usually the leading ladies are fierce and makes me admire them, but this time around,she was not really my favorite. Reece and Garrett meet when they are 18 and 19. They fall madly in love, but Garrett gets an opportunity of a lifetime and has to leave for 6 months. During that time something happens that makes her make a hard decision. Afterwards she gets depressed and what does she do? she goes and marries his brother!!! WTF!? I’m super confused with that. Maybe I’m wrong for feeling that way towards her but I just can’t see why. Garrett on the other hand, I did like and I understood his behavior way more. I would have given it a two star rating but since I’m a Samantha Christy fan and the writing was not the problem I gave it a 3.

Reckless Reunion is the final instalment to Samantha’s Reckless series, and what a finale it is!!!
I was completely consumed by both Crew and Bria’s and Luke and Ella’s stories, and knowing Samantha’s stellar writing, knew she would totally bring her A-game for Garrett and Reece!!!
Reckless Alibi have a top 10 hit! ‘Swerve’ is being played by all of the top radio stations, catapulting them to the top rapidly. Everyone is over the moon, that is except Reece Mancini. When Reece hears the song playing she has no idea what lays in store for her!!!
Reece and Garrett are old lovers, lovers that went through a pretty rough break up, and haven’t seen each other in a really long time. But when the universe brings them back together again sparks fly between them, albeit not in the good way to begin with!!!
Garrett was betrayed in the worst way possible, and even though it’s remained in the past, exactly where he wanted it to be, circumstances change and he has no choice but to relive everything once again. But Reece feels betrayed too, and the two of them are pure fire as they hash out all of the bad that happened between them.
Finding herself joining one of the hottest rock bands out there on tour for 10 weeks, Reece can see her hopes and dreams slowly becoming reality. But will she pay the ultimate price with her heart? Or will she ‘Get Reckless’ and make the most of this unplanned and unexpected reunion???
When I tell you that this series has become one of my top 5 favourites EVER, I am not joking! It’s very rare that a book or series enraptures me the way this series has!
Each one of these books has a completely different story, the characters having totally different back stories and that makes these books so much more interesting!!! This book is just as unpredictable as the others before it and is full of twists and turns, so hang on tight and enjoy the ride!
Reckless Reunion wrecked me in the best possible way and I’m still mourning the fact that it’s all over, I could happily read about them all forever!!!
The ending was absolute perfection and I laughed as much as I cried. The originality catapults these books into a different league all together, they are by far THE BEST Rockstar books I’ve ever read. Samantha has this knack of taking very real, very present issues and taking you on a journey with the characters as you get to know them, and the resolutions are always worth waiting for!!!
This is most definitely a 10 star worthy book!

Meh.
I'm disappointed. I have read most of Samantha Christy's books in 2 months. Devoured them. I love her writing. I loved Garrett and was looking forward to reading his story- I actually set a reminder on my phone to alert release day. It took me days to read this book and I almost didn't finish it. Which I never do. Thinking back on this story, I think it's because I didn't think Reece was good enough for Garrett. She f***ed him over time and time again. It wasn't because of what she did medically, but everything else.
I am a big book crier. I am an emotional reader. I didnt' shed one tear this time around, I kept putting down my iPad in frustration and disappointment in the plot. I really wish Garrett found someone better. Someone who truly deserved him.

Although I liked Garrett and Reece together when they were performing, off stage they should stay far, far away from each other.
Garrett stole Reece's song and then took the credit for writing it. Nevertheless, Reece made the most stupid mistakes ever. The first, refusing to be financially compensated for her lyrics. To sing on stage was no sure guarantee she would achieve the fame and fortune she desired. And her "past" mistakes, there are just no words to cover her reckless behavior!

“Always and forever”
I have absolutely loved this series and this book finishes it off fantastically.
Garrett’s the playboy, the joker the one who’s made it possible for RA to be where they are for the start of this book. We know he’s got issues with his family, but not why! never in my wildest would I have imagined why!!
Reece is a part of Garrett past he wants to forget!
But he’s made a major error and now his past is front and centre ready to take him down.
This has so much raw emotion with all the feels throughout.
Brilliant storyline, great to see old faces back, giving us a hint of what’s to come next.
We haven’t had an epilogue in the first two books, as they all continue so close together, but we get one in this and bloody hell it’s a corker.

Could not finish. I felt like Reece’s actions were unredeemable. Plus I really disliked how Garrett’s band mates quickly sided with Reece after Garrett gave up his trust fund to save the band, and still allowed them to be part owners. What an ugly way to end an otherwise great series.

Saved the best for last
I am a sucker for angsty rocker romances and this one definitely hit the mark. I loved how the author sprinkled in flashbacks of younger Garrett and Reece alongside the present. With so many what ifs between them, I wasn't sure if they would be able to get past it. I loved the extended epilogue! 😍

Garrett deserved better. Everyone kept having Reece’s back, not understanding where he was coming from. I really liked Garrett, but couldn’t root for his relationship with Reece because of all of her lies. Samantha’s writing is amazing as always.

I have not read a Samantha Christy book for a long time. But I have to tell you I think I have read all of her books and I still remember them, they are still on my favorites list. So if you haven't read one...get started.
Reckless Reunion...just.as.good-rock star love gets me every time.
These rock stars are so hot, so warm, and not really the dirty bad rock stars you might picture.
Garrett and Reece-insta lust-as expected of a rockstar
Family drama-expected when an uber rich lawyer asshole dad has a drummer for a son
- when your girlfriend spent her life with no parents in foster care so your asshole
dad hates her
- when your brother makes a huge mistake (can't tell you what)
Relationship drama-when you leave for Australia for 6 months
-when your girlfriend is keeping the biggest secrets
-when fame keeps you apart and brings you back together
-when your rockstar boyfriend steals your lyrics
The story revolves around the meeting of Garrett and Reece, their beginning courtship, their separation, and their tumultuous reunion. It is a crazy, sweet, and hot path to follow.
For me, the best part was the epilogue. I won't spoil it, but the tears were flowing and my heart was pushed to the max. It wasn't really shocking looking back at it. I just didn't see it coming, I had a different end in mind, but this was SO much better. It solidified this rock star family, the band, their friends so tightly into my heart that it was hard to have it end.

First let me say that one of the reasons I love everything that Samantha Christy writes is because of her ability to intertwine characters from her books into places you’d never expect. To me it’s like visiting with old friends from that job you used to have. Reckless Reunion is just that. It’s visiting with friends, old and new who come together to help tell us the story of Garrett and Reece. It’s not your typical boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy meets girl again story. It’s got that special Samantha Christy twist to it, and like all her books, a HEA. If you are a fan of any of her books, you NEED to read this! Trust me, you will not be disappointed. There is laughter, happy tears, sad tears and as many hot sexy scenes as you come to expect from SC. To those of you who have never read one of her books, SHAME ON YOU! You don’t know what you’re missing. To those of you who are like me and LOVE every word, get ready to get RECKLESS for one last time. Something tells me this isn’t the last time we’ll hear of or see Reece and Garrett, but it is definitely one of the best endings to a trilogy I’ve ever read. That epilogue was everything I wanted it to be. Thank you Samantha Christy for allowing me the privilege of being an ARC reader.

I LOVED this book!! I loved the whole series! I’m sad this was the end of this series! I loved Reckless Alibi!
I was not expecting this story! I don’t think I even had a clue what Garrett was hiding, but man oh man did it shock me. I love when I go into a story and don’t have any expectations.
I loved Garrett and Reece!! They are definitely a couple that showed a lot of growth through this book. You got to watch them turn into the amazing people they are!!!
My heart absolutely broke for Reece. She was dealt a crap hand and she made the best of it. She has some faults but she owns them!

Honestly, I’m only giving this 3 stars because I loved the series and the characters. Garrett deserved so much better. It made me angry the entire time I read it that it felt like no one was on his side. The things Reece did were unforgivable to me. What I couldn’t get past was her marrying his brother. I don’t care how sad or lonely you are. I hated everything about the storyline. I hated that the band immediately accepted Reece and seemed totally on her side. Even with out knowing the details they should have had their loyalty to Garrett. I just didn’t see how Reece OR Garrett’s brother should have been forgiven. The writing was great but I just can’t get on board with Reece. I kept waiting moor a girl to sweep in and give Garrett the happy ending he actually deserved.

Unfortunately not my favorite of Samantha’s. I really struggled with Reece in this novel. I don’t think I ever moved past her immaturity and past decisions to be able to like her in the present. I did like seeing the couples from the first 2 and I’m glad Garrett is happy (that poor man was just continuously screed over), but I just didn’t connect that well to this story. I did like the ending and the epilogue though!

Wrapping up the storyline was rushed. One second they are fighting, 2 minutes later it’s all good. Honestly not sure Garrett should forgive so easily, not without talking more.

Reckless Reunion was everything and more! Samantha Christy sure knows how to rip your heart out and then put it back together in the best ways. Reckless Reunion is the third book in the Reckless Rockstar series. Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon narrate this audio book.
Garrett is the drummer for Reckless Alibi, and just like the other members of the band, he also has a complicated and tragic past. Garrett also helps writes song lyrics for the band. Insert Reece, who is a blast from Garrett's past. Reece claims to have written, "Swerve" one of Reckless Alibi's latest hits. Reece has several stipulations when it comes to her song, and as the story progresses; Garrett and Reece reunite and their reunion is full of ups and downs.
Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon have been AMAZING through this entire series! Jason and Erin's performances as Garrett and Reece were raw and emotional! Jason sings (again), and gives so much life and passion to Christy's heartfelt lyrics! Erin Mallon is perfection as Reece, making you empathize with all her struggles to overcome the pain from her past. These two are always one clicks for me!
This book was an emotional rollercoaster that I didn't want to end. I devoured this audiobook quickly because I was completely consumed by the story. I cried and swooned loving every last bit of the book! I especially loved the epic epilogue that gives the reader an update on all the band members! Samantha Christy has quickly become one of my new favorite authors! I adored getting "reckless" with this series!
Garrett is the drummer for Reckless Alibi, and just like the other members of the band, he also has a complicated and tragic past. Garrett also helps writes song lyrics for the band. Insert Reece, who is a blast from Garrett's past. Reece claims to have written, "Swerve" one of Reckless Alibi's latest hits. Reece has several stipulations when it comes to her song, and as the story progresses; Garrett and Reece reunite and their reunion is full of ups and downs.
Jason Clarke and Erin Mallon have been AMAZING through this entire series! Jason and Erin's performances as Garrett and Reece were raw and emotional! Jason sings (again), and gives so much life and passion to Christy's heartfelt lyrics! Erin Mallon is perfection as Reece, making you empathize with all her struggles to overcome the pain from her past. These two are always one clicks for me!

Great book! Reese and Garrett have a long history. They where teen lovers but lots of things happened and they broke up. I won't say what it was because you need to read to find out.
They were both musicians and had lots in common, Garrett went away to learn the intricacies of playing drums by the master in Italy. It was the chance of a lifetime. Reece didn't do well while he was gone. He was gone for 6 months. Garrett ask his brother to watch over her and to take care of her while he was away and he DID.
Reece and Garrett broke up and were a part for 6 years. They ran back into each other when Garrett used and released a song that Reece wrote prior to their breakup. Through forced proximity they were thrown back together. The band that Garrett was in, Reckless Alibi went on tour and Reece went as well. Lots of stuff happened but in the end the right things happened.

Author does fine job of a young couple who make some mistakes and how they get through with love. End of series with great epilogue.

I love Garrett so much!! He may be my favorite!!
Samantha write some of the most amazing stories that capture you instantly. I could not put this book down, I had to finish it.
I love all these characters!! I could read 10 more books wrapped up in this world.
The struggles and hurdles that Reece and Garrett have to go through are heartbreaking and with wreck your emotions. But the way the story flows and ends you are healed by the time you read the last page!!
I have felt such a connection to these characters since the beginning and I really want more.
This books so absolutely amazing and will leave you with all the feels!!
