Returning to the Sparrow world is always fun and exciting. Seeing the dynamics of this group as it grows with baby sparrows adds an extra tenderness to the dangerous and complicated lives of Sterling, Araneae, Mason, Laurel, Reid, Lorna, Patrick, Madeline and Ruby. Running the underground world in Chicago is no easy feat, but for these band of brothers, there is no greater sacrifice than to keep their family and city protected. As for the wives, they are strong, protective and will also do what is needed to protect those they love. A great return to the Sparrow World!!

Don’t you just love it when you get a snippet of the future events of a series you have loved? I do. It’s like the bow on the package. I’ve got the present but the bow just makes it a bit more special.
The story of the Sparrows was finished nicely when the story of Lorna and Patrick ended, but with an old enemy being due for parole and new victims being found Sterling needs to act to protect his tribe.
That beautiful little tribe of baby Sparrows made my heart swell.
I’ve loved the role each of the characters have added to this series so having them all happy, with Lorna still taking care of everyone was perfect. What a ride!

Have you been Aleatha'd? I have! Allow me to gush pure joy for just a minute or two, please! I was overwhelmed with excitement and total delight when I started reading this novella. The smile on my face at the end of Chapter 1 said it all. I was so happy to be back in the Sparrow world! I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to catch up with what exactly was happening with all the characters from the series that I love so much. Half-way through I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. I didn't realize until that point just how much I had missed these characters! As I said, pure joy!! Ok, moving on...
If you haven't read all the stories in Aleatha Romig's Sparrow Web World, then Vows is the perfect novella for you. It will give you a look into the lives and loves of her fierce, loving heroines and powerful, Alpha-male heroes that make up the series. In Vows,we return to the Sparrows and their family for a little while.
Yes,the enemies are locked up,and should be for a while longer.
But trouble is brewing in Chicago,and they need to find the source.
While the men are doing that,we get an introduction to new family members,great and small.
The adults all have their own stories,Mason and Laurel in Tangled Web,Patrick and Madeline in Web of Desire,and Reid and Lorna in Dangerous Web.
The children are simply adorable,and rule the adults without knowing.
Well….i dó have my doubts about Sterling and Araneae’s little girl,she looks a bit too much like her father,lol

Not sure if this novella is available; however, I loved this slice of life back into the Sparrow World. MUST-READ ALL OF THE SPARROW SAGA to understand the connection and piece of life.

Loved this short read, taking me back to the Sparrows and all their family and friends. It was a brilliant read that I couldn't put down, with a little bit of danger and a lot of love in the mix! I really enjoyed going back into the Sparrows world, with Aranae and Sterling and children this time, and reading about everyone again. Highly recommend!

When dreams come true!!! Aleatha Romig gave the world another STERLING SPARROW BOOK! Something I have been asking for since I finished all other books in this EPIC series.
Sterling is the king of Chicago under world he made a vow to his queen Areneae and she made a vow back to her king. Aleatha made me laugh, cry and one point I wanted to throw my kindle cause I was scared for them. This Novella gives you all them Web of Sin feels. Do yourself a favour and one click this epic read.
Note to Aleatha you know we now need a novella for Patrick and Mason...it makes it even :)

All the usual players are back, along with Sterling and Araneae’s adorable little princess, Goldie, who undoubtedly owns her daddy’s heart. While Sterling is still the same alpha male we’ve come to know and love, clearly, his family has become the Achilles’ heel to Chicago’s fearless ruler.
I really enjoyed this glimpse into the future of the Sparrows and spending more time with some of my all-time favorite characters from a much adored series. A perfect blend of sizzle, sin and suspense, Vows is a page-turner that I quickly devoured.

I love Aleatha's books and I was excited to read this novella about the Sparrows. I have not read the Web of Sin series but I am so excited to read it, especially after reading this tidbit of their family.
Sterling Sparrow controls Chicago and protects defenseless women and children as well as his family. His wife Araneae runs the Sparrow Institute, which helps victims of human trafficking heal and receive help and protection. It was her brain child, but the heart of all who worked there with her. Their family, not blood family, but family nonetheless.
There is a new danger to the Sparrows, an old enemy is coming up for parole and rising sectors are assembling in preparation for his release. This family's loyalty and love is evident as they deal with the threat and a breach in their organization. Although I had no history with this series, I was fully engrossed and had no trouble following and loving this story! I am looking forward to reading more about this family and especially the deep bond between Sterling and Araneae.

The threat this time has created problems in previous stories but is now once again threating their balance of life. Sterling and his men jump into action to begin to hatch a plan that will keep this potential threat incapacitated. Even on of Araneae's legitimate businesses is not left untouched. When the scaled threaten to tip, can Sterling keep the world even to protect those that he loves?
Once again we are whisked into the world of Sterling Sparrow and his trusty team of men as well as the woman and children they love. Absolutely loved Vows. Was awesome. Miss these characters so, so much. Especially Web of Sin, the first trilogy. They were all great but it started with Sterling Sparrow and Araneae. I loved that Aleatha wrote this book so we get a look into the future of what is going on with all the couples and their children and whatever foes they are fighting against. Seems like a never dull moment for the inhabitants of the penthouse in Chicago. Just awesome. Bravo Aleatha. P.S, I hope you write more books about Lorna and Reid. Patrick and Madeline and Mason and Laurel. And keep us fans of yours abreast of what is going on in that penthouse. Also this book was filled with such suspense. Aleatha always delivers!!!

This novella gave me all the feels. I love revisiting characters from older books!! If you've read the previous Sparrow books then don't hesitate for jumping into this one. If you haven't discovered this series yet, then I highly recommend you get started!

Vows is another delicious installment in the Sparrow world focusing on the Queen herself, Araneae. Vows is a fast paced, sexy page-turner Novella where the threat of danger is always lurking nearby. This Novella is not just about the vows between Sterling and his Queen Araneae but the vows the King of Chicago made to protect all of his family in his tower in the sky and those out protecting his city. I absolutely loved having another peek into the Sparrow world where excitement, lust and love are always guaranteed.

Whoever says you can’t go home again is full of malarkey. I say that because the other word would prevent my review from being published. Ya know bad words and all…
Once again, I’ve gone home. To Chicago. To visit my favorite family. A family that was built on mutual respect and trust. A family that creates their own laws to protect the city and the people they love.
The biggest mistake anyone can make is to come for Sterling Sparrow or any of his family. Because when “vows” are made, they are kept. Watch (a good book is a movie in your head) as Aleatha brings the Sparrows together once more to right the wrongs in the underground world of Chicago.
A family whose world can only be experienced by being Aleatha’d!

Oh man, I loved going back to the Sparrow’s. I’ve missed this series and I could read so much more of it. This is a short story that’s a few years in the future from where the last book ended. Threats appear and in true Sparrow style it gets dealt with. Great read

I love coming back to this Sparrow world! I’ve missed these amazing characters and I love seeing what they’re all up to.
With Aleatha’s detailed and fantastic writing, this does not feel like a short story at all. Filled with the danger of the Sparrow world, the story may be short but it’s intense and emotional and leaves you will a full heart.

What a beautiful thing to return to this world of The Sparrows. Sterling a man not to be reckon with and a wife who stands by his side as his Queen. Weather it is your first time reading about them or a refresher to what they can do to get the end results is the best you can ever read. I am definitely a fan of Aleatha without a doubt.

This novella only bring back my need to come back to The Sparrow world.
Its been eight years after Sterling and Aranae's marriage. With a four year old daughter, Ruby is all grown up, two boys from Lorna-Reid and Patrick-Madelyn, their kingdom is once again under attack from old enemies.
The lockdown may have been lifted, but i wonder if there would be another big book to complete this novella...

Loved it. One of my favorite series is Web of Sin.
I love when an author brings old characters back giving us an opportunity to revisit them in the future. We visit the Sparrows as they face the daily challenge of staying at the top. This story is true Aleatha style--excitement, twists, and alpha's who are willing to do what is necessary.
I truly hope to see more of the Sparrow men and women again in the future.

This story is amazing!! I really enjoy it when an author gives us a glimpse of our favorite characters years into their future. The Sparrow group has always had a special place in my heart. I absolutely love every couple and treasure the glimpse into their future!

It's always good going back and visiting old friends. While life goes on and we're years after the last of the series, some things change, and others stay the same. Family is more than the blood that binds, it's those we choose and those that choose us. Bonds that are unbreakable, threats that refuse to go away, and a Queen takes her rightful place as more than someone to sit on the throne and look the part. In all, if you've read the series, it will bring a smile to your face to be back in Chicago and if you haven't, you have the opportunity to visit Chicago and get lost in 'The Web' stories for the first time.

I don’t think I realized how much I missed the Sparrow world until I started VOWS. I really loved this little surprise novella. Family is more than blood and these characters prove that.
