Safety and Spoilers

Good story. Safe. H was a bit of a player before the hand h had been celibate for a while. No ow drama, h interrupts a date h was on and gets the guy to run off. No abuse. H instantly fell for the h and would do anything to make her his.

Stalker vibes. Just nope. DNF.

Maybe it's just me but I just finished a book where the h had a stalker who said almost identical things to the H here.

"Nor is the grin that spreads across my face from the way Bry’s voice all but purrs out my name. She’s interested, of that I have no doubt."

"I’m not a total caveman, no means no. Yet there was something in her tone that gave me hope. That and the way I would catch her gaze on me. So I didn’t push. Besides, I could bug my brother for her number at any point."

Ummmm... so no means no unless her "tone" scream YES? Classic stalker villain.

DNF at 30% when he bribes her roommate to abandon their appartment (making her vulnerable) then erases his part so he can swoop in an play white knight.

I'm holding out hope this novella is just a prequel to an actual HEA with Brylee and literally anyone else. Maybe this is setting the stage for how she got conned into a relationship with Jeremy, a narcissistic gaslighter and her real story about how she escapes him and finds a good man.

Stubborn Resistance . . .

Two people firmly convinced that they will never fall in love and marry. Being single and unencumbered is fun. Why change it? But while Jeremy is laughing that his big brother is in love and settling down, he meets Brylee and now he knows what everyone means about falling hard. So his plan to get close to her is to become her roommate so he can show her up-close that he’s perfect for her and seriously interested.

Brylee felt the same way about love and commitment that Jeremy used to feel. But she stubbornly doesn’t want to give in to those feelings. How will Jeremy convince her to give him a chance? Can his persistence show her that he is sincere? Will they find their HEA?

Jeremy and Brylee meet because her friend and his brother got together. Jeremy is interested in Brylee, but she is being stubborn. So, he goes out of his way to make sure that she needs him. He convinces her new roommate to leave for some quick cash. He does all of this because even though he made fun of his brother for falling in love he knows that Brylee is his one. What will she do if she learns what he has done? Can they get their happy ending?

This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is book number 3 of the Yours series and focuses on Jeremy and Brylee. They are the brother and best friend of Gabe and Elizabeth (from Accidentally Yours). Jeremy is not one to settle down but as soon as he sets his eyes on Brylee, he knows that he has found his one. Brylee fiercely fights their connection from the get go. Jeremy goes to some interesting lengths in order to be close to her and to win her over. I love that Jeremy was all in from the start and didn’t let Brylee push him away for too long. This was a great addition to the series!

Jeremy cannot believe how goofy his brother is acting, he supposedly fell head over heels for his girl in a real short while. Elizabeth is great but really? He is over their apartment for dinner and her old roommate is coming to dinner.

He takes one look at Brylee and he is hooked, he just needs to get her to give him a chance. She seems to keep him at arms length, desperate times call for desperate measures. He finds a way to get rid of the new roommate and move in.

Can he convince her to give him a chance?.

Swearing off love will not stop it from catching you

Recklessly Yours is the third book in the YOURS series and is about two characters which were previously in Accidentally Yours, Brylee and Jeremy. Brylee is the best friend of Elizabeth and Jeremy is the brother of Gabe. These two met when Elizabeth and Jeremy fell in love and got married. Both Brylee and Jeremy want nothing to do with love, marriage and a forever. But when they become roommates things don't quite work out that way. Sometimes you just can't control your heart from catching those dreaded feelings, no matter how much to swear off them, which is what this couple soon learn.

Jeremy and Brylee watch as her best friend and his brother fall hard, swearing they will never end like that. Until they meet and Jeremy is hooked instantly. He manages to become her new roommate and starts to show her that he is the one for her. Love the characters, the dialogue, entertaining situations and steam. The storyline of how their relationship develops is amusing and addictive to read. Lots of emotion and feeling that sweep them away. Terrific ending.

This was supposed to be an instalove age gap story. It was more like instalust. We know Jeremy's brother is in his 40's and Bry is 24. Uh, how old is Jeremy? She never asks.
Bry is a bit of a harsh personality. She takes, but gives little. She dominated Jeremy, even in the bedroom, which should have been a refreshing change, but wasn't.
Jeremy cooks for her every night, gives messages and tries to bring fun in her life, what does she bring to the table.
This story could have been better by toning down her #%!* and giving her more substance and making the age gap relevant.

Jeremy is instantly attracted to Brylee. He convinces her new roommate to move out. He offers to share rent and moves in.
He works hard to get Brylee to see him.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review..I enjoyed this quick story about Brylee and Jeremy. Her roommate just moved in with her boyfriend, who happens to be Jeremy's older brother. So now she needs a new roommate. Jeremy volunteers and sets things in motion. She tries to fight the connection but he wins her over. Great HEA in the making.

Recklessly Yours is fun fast read that you can't help but smile at the lengths Jeremy will go to spend time with Brylee.

The tension between Jeremy and Brylee at the start of the book is thick. As the story continues Jeremy slowly wins Brylee over, and before she knows it Brylee cannot see her self with anyone else.

The author has given us a wonderful story that pulls us into the lives of Jeremy and Brylee and does not let go. Neither one believes in love, but upon meeting Bry, Jeremy decides that he will do whatever it takes to have Bry in his life.

Quick and fun read. Jeremy is pretty clever in how he gets close to Bry. I'm not a huge fan of stories that begin with lies but Jeremy was a good guy. Bry wasn't an easy character to like as she was very high maintenance but I did like them together.

This was a fun read, loved the characters and their witty banter back and forth. It was great in having such a determined and powerful female lead who was outspoken and took charge of her life. Enjoyed the extent to which the male lead went to to woo his woman.

Look, I'm a sucker for these type of books. Love ar first sight with the hero knowing while the heroine is like eh, no thanks is my jam.

I loved it. I didn't read it in the series, but it worked great as a standalone. It's a good read to lift your spirits and perfect to cleanse your palette.

Jeremy will go to any length to get Bry to concede her attraction for him. Great sneaky yet honest ways to grab her attention. Jeremy is willing to put his heart on the line. There was bantering and her putting up the resistible fight. good read.

Pushy

Jeremy can't believe Gabe and Elizabeth are setting him with someone at the Thanksgiving table. When he sees Bry for the first time he knows his heart belongs to her. He loves the spunky woman and now he needs to show her.

This book was good and will have you hooked from the beginning until the end. The storyline flowed throughout the book and you definitely will love Brylee and Jeremy. Brylee is sad her best friend and roommate is moving out and in with her bf but when she meets Jeremy her roommate bf brother will sparks fly or will she end up pushing him away?.
