This is the 3rd in this series I've read. Book 1 was my favorite because it had more of a human element in it - it was filled with emotion.
This was good, had a lot of players, mostly villains, and a lot of violence and brutal killings. So much happens in this story that it seemed more farfetched in how they kept surviving.
Suspense, intrigue, crude words used, no cheating, no cliffhanger and HEA. This is a clean story with no sex or kisses.
I can't improve on the blurb, just giving you extra tidbits to decide whether to purchase. You will not be bored in reading this! (ljb)

Great series!
I have just finished reading the three books in this series and have been thrilled with each of them. It is fairly unusual for me to immediately read all the books in a series. I usually will read something in between but the story line was absolutely riveting for me. I read all 3 books in the last week and found it very difficult to put them down to even sleep a few hours. I know you have written other series and I will be reading them as well.

I know I sound like a broken record with my reviews but once again I loved this book. Another book I couldn’t put down (I’m not a fast reader but). I got this book finished in 6 days. Cal Shepard along with a handful of others is becoming my favorite lead characters. I’ve said many times that I don’t like to give spoilers, so I won’t tell you about the plot. Just know Cal & his team are up against one of their toughest foes yet. This book grabbed my attention right away & never let go. Don’t hesitate get this book right away. You won’t be disappointed!!!!

This is the third book in the series and it was just as packed with action and great team work as the first two. If you like the ins and outs of a special ops thriller this will give you what you want. The characters are really flushed out and you are shouting them on in this entire book to make it even though you know they will. Great read

Another great story!

A really good read!
When I started reading this I didn't know where I would like it or not but to my surprise it was my kind of book you don't want to put it down you want to know what going to be next!

Page-turner for sure!
I’m a big fan of JT’s books, I started out reading the zombie apocalypse stories and now these Cal Shepard books. All great stories well written and creative. Great characters, heros and villains.

Another exciting book by JT Sawyer.
I enjoyed Cal Shepard ways of staying alive while trying to rid the world of bad guys. His team of Viper and Nolan are always there to help him. Plus he picks up new friends along the way.

A Few Too Many
Sawyer writes excellent thrillers. This book had lots of action sequences but maybe a few too many convenient captures and escapes. As capable as these heroes are, they need some rest too. Interested to see where Sawyer takes the team next.

Cal and his team can’t catch a break. Tossed back into the middle of another deadly situation, the group has to rely on one another and their considerable skills to come through mostly unscathed. Beauty being that once one target is vanquished another rises to the top.

Nice series!
Great character development without giving anybody super powers. Believable plots, great action sequences. All in all, a fun series to read. Highly recommend to those who enjoy the genre!

LOVE THIS SERIES!!

When a scientist researching microwave weapons is kidnapped by Mexican cartels, Shepard and Company go south of the border to extract him, only to find the Chi-Coms are involved.
