Lucky's luck is not quite there when it comes to getting his HEA
Get Hitched is the fifth book in The Brunch Babes series and continues the story of Nessa and Lucky, their first book is Get Lucky. They have been in a relationship for a while now and things are going well, even if there is physical distance between them. Actually it is going so well that Lucky knows it is time to propose and he goes about trying to do it. I say try as every time he has something planned it all goes awry and the opportunity is lost. But he is determined to get a ring on her finger and will do what ever it takes to make it finally happen.....after all she is the only woman for him.
I received a copy of this book and am leaving my honest review. My opinions are all my own.

In Lucky and Nessa's case, the love is a done deal and the yes is pretty much a given, it's just a bit difficult to get as far as the asking. They have been friends for a long time and together as lovers for a bit now, in a long-distance relationship. He is ready to ask Nessa to marry him, he's got the ring and everything, all he needs is a romantic scene. But things go wrong every time that he's got something planned.
This was a cute, easy no-angst story that took me about 50 minutes to finish. It can be read as a standalone but contains recurring characters from other books.

“Oh mother of pearl” “for the love of Pete”…I got a bit creative while reading this book because poor Lucky just couldn’t catch a break! I absolutely love Lucky and Nessa and I wanted nothing more than for them to get their happily ever after. Thank sweet baby Jesus that things went just the way only these two could pull off and I was left with a silly grin.

How many proposals can go wrong before you give up? This book is about Lucky and Nessa. It is a quick read with some hot and steamy scenes. It is a funny and enjoyable book and them getting engaged. I really loved the twist at the end too.

It was so nice to get a final conclusion to this story. I missed them! Swoony, as per usual, and a great storyline. Jessalyn does it again! Can't wait to read more by this author!
