Lee Evans grew up with his grandfather after his parents died in an accident. He grew up with Cole Miles as his best friend and Cole's twin sister Jenna goes wherever they did. Lee one day storms out of town to seek his fortune and never knows that Jenna had a deep crush on him. When Lee's grandfather has 2 heart attacks, Lee decides to come home to care for him. Lee funds that Cole and Jenna have grown up and Lee sees how beautiful Jenna has become. She wants nothing to do with him. Lee later learns that his grandfather has been poisoned and Jenna holds a secret that only her friend Kathy knows. Enjoyable story that I found hard to put down. I plan to read the whole series.

Left me hanging!!!

I don’t like authors who leave you hanging. To find out some of the answers to questions in this story you have to buy the book. And not doubt it will leave you hanging to get the next one. Why can’t you be honest and say there is no true ending!!!!!!!!! I guess I know not to read any more of Katie and Brenda’s books.

A good read. Nothing to offend. Nice mystery. However the mystery continues into the next book so it is not a stand alone book as I assumed. A bit frustrating. If you don’t mind having to buy the next book in the series I enjoyed reading.
