Hunter Dufort may be the youngest in the Dufort family dynasty.
He might also be the quietest, but he has certain tastes and needs his elder brothers don't have.
And he's not talking about whisky.
When Grace turns up in his world, Hunter wonders if she may be his greatest challenge yet. For he needs to have unequivocal and total possession of her.
Total Possession is the third book in the Dufort Dynasty series—a steamy contemporary romance, appealing to readers who love billionaire romance, fated mates, and the more erotic romances.

DNF 46% This is like just so boring. We get it. Hunter is a dom. But like… just do it? Idk the tension here Didnt work for me. It was just dumb and unsatisfying.
Juliette knocks it out of the park with book three of the Dufort series. It's a darker romance than the first two with a twist you never see coming.
Hunter is not who you'd expect him to be. Sure, he likes his pleasure on the kinky side but he's sweet and caring and extremely protective of those he cares about. He's a beast!! In and outside the bedroom.
Addison isn't your typical mom. Yes, she loves her daughter deeply and will do anything for her but she has a secret not even her best friend Olivia knows about. She enjoys her pleasure on the kinky side too. She tries to hide it but being near Hunter brings her cravings to the surface.
This dark romance has everything. The secrets, the pleasures, the heartbreak and the unconditional love.
This book read like a novella even though it was full length.
It was very insta love, instant attraction. I felt like so much more could have been done, the relationship between Hunter and Grace developed into so much more over a period of time.

Because I'm cheap I only read the free books. This is book 3 in the series Hunter is the baby of the family and has let his older brothers tell him how to run his life. They hate the fact that he owns an exclusive sex club to feed his dominate Alpha self. Addison is the best friend of his brother Fletcher's fiancee Olivia. (Book 2). Addy is divorced with a six year old daughter. She is a closet submissive but is afraid to let people know because of what her ex-husband said to their friends and her father about her "kinks* Her father quit talking to her and her friends all turned their backs on her except for Olivia She and Hunter become more than friends as he helps her find her other side and gives her the voice and way to embrace her other side. As they spend time together both realize they are falling in love and they give each other the ability to face the family and the truth
I can deal with some poor sentence structure and a little bit of sloppy editing, but I cannot deal with the wrong man’s name being used in the story!
This was done during a sex scene which made it even worse.
I got a box set of books 1-3 so I did read them since i already had them. The next book, Desire Unbound, was not free on Kindle Unlimited but instead cost $4.99. Just cannot bring myself to spend that much with the issues I’ve had with the others.
This has everything I imagined it would have in it. There was pain, emotion, and pleasure combined into this. You finally get the curtain pulled back on Hunter’s lifestyle and details about it. He takes you into his pleasure world and his inner demons that make him want all the control. You find out why he does what he does and where it all originated. He was a complicated man and you feel how different he is compared to his brothers. I’m not going to give away why he does what he does and what he hopes for, but I do know it tamps down certain thoughts when he’s in his element. He uses his kinks as a distraction but in the best way. I’m not into BDSM stuff myself, so to have Juliette explore this part of the erotic was a learning experience for me. I felt like I understood it more, rather than just reading about a man who just does it which I felt like Fifty Shades of Grey did, though he did deal with trauma. I felt like that wasn’t the case with Hunter, but it was explained better if that makes sense? What I’ve noticed is that shame is a big theme of this story. Addison was shamed because she likes these kinks and Hunter was shamed in his own way. He stays out of the spotlight with his fetishes and lifestyle, and the family ensures he doesn’t let this side of his life get leaked to the public because of bad image and what Dufort Hotels stands for. It felt like his family was attacking him for liking these kind of kinks as there are constant jabs about it. While I felt like this was mostly the focus of the story, you still get to see how both Addison and Hunter slowly start falling for each other and their connection even though Addison wants so hard to admit nothing is there but you can’t help how you react to a person and your actions. It says a lot about the person and it’s very natural. Their story gets beautifully explored as Hunter opens up her eyes to all the sensuality she can imagine as she lets herself go in the pleasure without any embarrassment. It’s all about how Hunter makes her feel and the way they just fit. While Hunter doesn’t want to get too close to her, he finds he can’t help himself and pretty soon you get a glimpse of the sweet guy underneath all that glitz, glam and power exterior. I love this about this series. You get a sense of who these men are when it comes to love and how their powerful connections are impossible to ignore when it comes to the right person, plus the ultimate trust that takes hold of all of them, knowing these women are here for them and not their dynasty. Definite 5 stars for me!
This is the third book in the Dufort Dynasty. I wondered if this book would have very graphic and descriptive sex. It did however, it wasn't as bad as I expected. It was not original but was a very lightweight "shades of grey" and hinted at BDSM. Because the story was interesting and introduced characters from the other books, I kept reading. I could do without what amounts to pornography, however, I love reading about the love and loyalty found in family series.
This was the story of Addison and Hunter. We again meet Daniel and Harper and Fletcher and Olivia. We briefly met their mother who did not embarrass them as expected. We also met their father, who understands Hunter better than either brother. It's hard to describe Hunter and Addison without giving Spoilers. In spite of the "kinky" sex, the book had an interesting premise. All I can said is that I was satisfied with the conclusion.
There was so much more to find out about the Dufort family, or should I say the Dufort brothers. The ending was surprising but not unexpected. Because I want to know more, I will read the next book. I read the 1st and 3rd books and would have helped had I read the second book about Fletcher and Olivia. It wasn't necessary to read it however, it would have helped with the relationships.
If you find graphic and descriptive sex a turn off and if you don't like flipping pages or skimming, then this book is not for you. Even without the graphic and descriptive sex, this book would have held my attention. I do love romances with HEA, especially those built on a family who love and respect each other. It's not a cliffhanger but does end with a surprise.
I want to start off with saying, "WOW"!! This book grabbed my attention from the very first page to the very last page. I read this book in one night. I just couldn't put it down. It is beyond HOT when it comes to the sex and it definitely is not "Vanilla" sex in this book. I have read the first two books in this series which I absolutely love and this one joins the others as my favorite series of books. All three brothers are sexy as hell, although Daniel is my favorite. For those that are following this series there are two huge bombshells at the end of this book. You must read the epilogue and Chapter 1 of the next book at the end of this one. My jaw dropped. For those that love Daniel and Harper you will love it even more. This book also has a lot of comedy in it as well just like the first two. I have come to care for all of the characters in these books and I hope she doesn't stop at the next book. It's been a really long time since I've read a series of books which has made me grow to care so much about the characters. You must read the first two books as it compliments this story very well. You just have to love women that successfully tame wild, badboy billionaires. You must join her Facebook page as well as her website. Lots of treats and occasionally free downloads to some of her other books. The author, Juliette N. Banks, is so nice and regularly interacts with her fans on Facebook. Now the wait for Book 4, Desire Unbound, begins...May of 2023 can't come soon enough.
Third book in the series is about Hunter, the youngest Dufort brother. Hunter, like his brothers, works for Dufort Hotel Company. His taste in women is different than his brothers. He’s a part owner of a sex club where he’s a regular participant. His brothers know his tastes are on the kinky side but tell him to keep it quiet. Their business can’t be associated with his lifestyle. They don’t understand it or Hunter. Hunter is fine keeping his personal life hidden until he meets Olivia’s best friend, Addison. They are both attracted to one another but try to resist the urge to want each other. Hunter knows his brothers won’t approve & Addison doesn’t want anyone knowing she has certain kinks. The last time she tried to experiment, things ended horribly wrong. Now Hunter & Addison’s willpower will be put to the test. They’ll be spending the weekend together in the Hamptons for Daniel & Harper’s wedding. Can they stay away from each other? Will Hunter open Addison’s eyes up to a new world of exploration? I really liked the dynamic of the characters. I did feel sorry for Hunter because his brothers always made him feel like he wasn’t a good guy & always thought it was okay to tell him who or who he couldn’t be with. I’m glad Hunter finally stood up to them in the end. I also liked how the author touched on the subject of women that like BDSM & the stereotype that for them to want it is wrong & shameful. I like getting to know the Dufort brothers more & more with each book.

what i think is a bit more interesting in this book is the setting of it all ...don't wanna ruin it for others but the setting of the get togethers, etc. i have read book 1 which is "Sinful Duty" new to Juliette's writing ... so it is fun to read a new author and a new series...yet to read book 2 which is Fletchers' book. interesting brothers. i am not a fan of the Dufort's father ...he seems a real dillweed indeed!! i will check on book 2 and 4 ... fun times. always enjoy finding a new series to me. laters. gotta read.
why are book 5 and onward not on Goodreads??! are they listed some how else? curious. 1. Sinful Duty 2. Forbidden Touch (currently reading) 3. Total Possession 4. Desire Unbound (currently reading) 5. Dark Surrender 6. Ruthless Temptation 7. Naughty Festivities book 8. Wicked Praise (Jan 30, 2024) book 9. Beautiful Ruin (April 30, 2024)
those extra 5 onward can be found but they are not connected to this series?? weird don't ya think???! odd. i think so. how do folks know about them??!?!
“Run Addison. You need to get far from me if you want to stay innocent.”
Hunter (age 28) was the Director of Sales in his family business of Dufort Hotels. His bedroom tastes were darker than that of most people. Being the youngest billionaire Dufort brother he too vowed never to marry or fall in love. Addison Hill (age 29) is a marketing manager for Brown&Co Wines and Spirits. She is Olivia’s best friend. She divorced Rob after they realized they weren’t compatible after all. She wanted to explore more pain in the bedroom and he didn’t agree. They do share custody of sweet little Sienna (age 6).
There’s a little depth to the story as we constantly explore how people and their bedroom tastes are judged. Hunter and Addison had a lot to discover not only with each other but also themselves. Some nice spicy scenes and all the fun Dufort wedding scenes for Dan and Harper!
Just wish we could have had a scene with Hunter and Sienna but I feel we’ll see interactions as the series progresses.
I picked this up on stuff your kindle day without having read any of the others in the series. The writing was good but it was lacking some depth. There seemed to be a few too many threads to really dive into any of them with much detail. It was an easy read though and although a little graphic at times, a good book to pick up if you don’t want to think too hard 😉
I think Hunter gave in too easily considering the title and the premise. I enjoyed his softer side with Addy (albeit that was predictable) and I liked that she blew him off for a minute there. There could have been a bit more tension, there really was no “molding” Addy to his lifestyle, which is fine, but not really how Hunter was portrayed by others or himself.
To be honest, I was expecting clunky writing considering this was being given away for free but I was pleasantly surprised and will look into more by the author since not everything she writes is apparently this “dark.”
*Somewhat of spoilers* This was a fun read. I haven’t read the first two books but I saw that you didn’t have to read them in order. I think I would recommend to read in order just to understand the characters more. I also would have loved to seen how the brothers treated Hunter in their books. I really felt for Hunter always being compared to his dad by his brothers and them telling him who he could and couldn’t date was so mean. Like they were shaming him for his taste and just assumed no other women would like them as well. I’m glad he finally stuck up for himself somewhat but I feel like if they are as close as they seem to be then they should support him no matter what. Other than that I really enjoyed the storyline, him and Addison were so cute together. I wish we got to see a scene of Hunter with her daughter. It would have been so cute. Fingers crossed it’s in the next books!

This was my first read by this author and certainly not my last! What a story! So much goes on, your head will spin! It’s a story of discovery and coming to terms with who you really are. Hunter is a Dominant, but because of his family, has to keep it a secret. He is all alpha and swears he will never have a full relationship. Then one day, Addison walks into his life and throws his world off its axis. She is a beautiful, divorced young woman who wants to explore, but has been made to feel it’s wrong. When she meets Hunter, he ticks all her boxes, but she is hesitant. Can these two people who are really perfect for each other, be together? Their chemistry is smoking hot and I loved their interactions. I truly enjoyed this steamy story!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would totally recommend it hoping others enjoy it as much as I did. Addison meets Hunter through her friend Olivia as he is the brother to Olivia's fiance Preston. Addison has been warned that Hunter has unusual tastes but what some don't know is that Addison is into kink as well. Can these two people overcome the obstacles and be together? Can Addison embrace life and who she is and what she likes regardless of what other people think. Or has what her ex husband prejudices and words to others made her scared to take. the chance
Hunter Dufort and Addison Hill's story is my favorite among the three brothers. Both have common interests in kinks, but Hunter's lifestyle is more deviant and into BDSM due to his need for power and control. This book shows how society perceives this lifestyle as taboo and unsafe, but Hunter's reasoning towards this lifestyle will give you an eye-opener. I've been reading a lot of novels with BDSM themes and this topic always comes out. I feel sad for Addison for undergoing the brutal judgements because she's into kinks. Hunter and Addison are perfect with their intense chemistry and love for each other. Now, let's see what Jackson's book has in store for us.
Daniel Dufort marries Harper. The wedding was held at their house in the Hamptons. What led.up to Addison joining the wedding weekend was the fact that she was best girlfriend to Olivia who happens to be engaged to Fletcher Dufort. She gets swept up with all the great plans and she also got swept up by Hunter Dufort. His proclivities were " different " from the norm and Addison was instantly drawn to him. They both sneak around the whole weekend and thought things were over. Both have feelings for each other and Hunter takes Addison to his sex club. What happens next is up to you. Must continue the series.
I was on this chapter. ( it's not the sex that I DNF the book, okay? I'm a smut reader myself)
“Mine. All mine to fuck how I want.”
He tugged on a nipple. How he’d love to have her strapped to his bed for more than just these few hours so he could fuck every hole over and over. Hunter slipped out of her mouth and undid the silk ropes.
“What are you doing?” she asked. “Wrists together,” he said, re-tying them.
“Now on your knees and ass in the air. And this time I want to hear a yes, sir.”
I tried really hard to read it, but just couldn’t finish it sadly. It was boring, had too much blunt exposition, the conversations were unnatural, and it had an absolute ton of spelling and grammatical errors. And for some reason it went whole pages where each sentence was on a different line. Maybe the writer was trying to be quirky? But it just made it choppy and hard to get into. Also yet another book where the writer doesn’t trust the audience, so even in the amount I read it reminded us that the main guy was a dominant about 20 times.
I actually almost dnf this book about 74% through but I kept going until the end. my main issue was addison, she had absolutely ZERO backbone and was annoying especially towards the end when you think there would be a growing character development. she didn’t have that, she had her moment of clarity at the very end all of a sudden which is probably why this book felt so rushed bc if we’re being honest there was no reason for this book to be as long as it is, it really could’ve been a novella
This is a very dark read. Its written in a fast paced theme with excellent characters.Hunter and Addison have the different taste than their friends .Addison is perfect for Hunter , it they both have to fight their fears and belief if they want to have a future.Would Addison go for the man she love or would her fears of what others may think keep her from the perfect H.E.A. Got to read this steamy story.
Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant! I think I'm in love!!!
Hunter definitely my favourite Dufort Brother. The bit of BDSM has added yet more spice to an already hot series and talk about a cliff hanger! Looks like Dynasty all-over!!!
Juliette's writing just has it all for me, each book slightly different story but still nicely written, great main characters and plenty of steam!
Every Dufort brother is unique in his own way, their peculiar ways of living forged by their past. Hunter Dufort has a tortured, complicated ( hard on the surface but extremely vulnerable) soul. It took another tortured soul to recognize its true nature. If you like your heroes dark, unrelenting and possessive but with a tender heart, Hunter Dufort is your man.
It was ok, not spicy like the name suggests. The title of the book doesn't fit, as the story really only hints at possession, with Hunter backing down in his needs to supposedly meet Grace's. The characters don't discover themselves- just conform to what they think 'society' wants. It had a few interesting points but overall was a bit 'meh'.
This read like a 50 Shades summary. Needs some editing, I'm pretty sure two different outcome of the FMC seeking therapy for her kinks were shared only chapters apart. One said they psychoanalyzed her for her abnormal behavior but later it said she was advised to explore this normal side of her. 🤷♀️

Juliette has created another great book. Hunter and Addison are so hot. All the characters from the series is included in this hot steamy and action filled book. It is so hot it will make your panties wet!
Totally enjoying this series and looking forward to the next book. Love the characters and their relationships with each other - the brothers, father, mother, girlfriends, and friends. I am really, really, really looking forward to the next one and wish it was being released much sooner.
Hunter, you are officially my favourite Dufort! This book blew my mind, it was so much more than I expected. It had everything and so much more. Loved the suprise at the end, though you kinda could see it coming. Can’t wait to find out the story behind It.
Hero was dominant and fun, while also being protective and caring, following the heroines lead. He paid close attention to her wants and needs and was supportive when she wasn't into something. Would love to see them having their HEA in other books.
