This book is the 2nd book in the 3 book series of Barre to Bar Series by Summer Cooper. It can be read as a standalone however you will miss much of the content from the first book that explains key elements to this 2nd book. Readers should also know that this book is left in a cliffhanger.
We meet our main characters as Roxie has realized she just made the biggest mistake of her life…again. She slept with Lincoln again. The first time was on the single worst day of her life and on the day that her life changed forever. Now she did it again.
Roxie has tried to forget her past but Lincoln is a tie to her past who is also aware of her real identity, which she has also tried to keep secret. She fears her past catching up to her, especially the one with a neck tattoo. For now Lincoln has promised to keep her secret but can Roxie really trust him?
Lincoln has had Roxie working for him decorating his new house & designing his “special room”. He’s decided he’s going to ask Roxie after their recent night together if she will teach him how to use his new special room properly. After Roxie agrees he has business that takes him to Cambodia and while there they each see another side of one another.

I absolutely loved this book. I’m in love with these 2 characters and can’t wait to see where the journey takes them.

There is something about Ms. Summer Cooper's writing style that makes her a must read Author of incredibly delicious romance. Dancing With Temptation is exactly that; deliciously addicting.

Chloe, aka Roxie, and Lincoln have a past that has brought them to where they are in their lives right now; together again. These two superbly designed characters have a destiny that seems to have been predetermined, however, their journey is far from over. After getting closer together as individuals, they are now back to their 'real' lives and the intimacy appears to be over. Except the consistent longing for one another is an issue. What was supposed to be a contract has turned into so much more. Neither wants to admit the love & yearning in their hearts when there can be no future. Can there? What happens when the past finally catches up to her? Will Roxie run to or from her heart's only desire to be free? Riveting romance at it's finest is what you will find inside these all consuming pages. From cover to cover, I sat, reading long into the night. This was one storyline that will stay with me while I impatiently await the next installment. Just beautiful.

Roxie can't believe when Lincoln found her from his childhood, he bought a home and moved his business from NYC to Myrtle Beach. Since her ex, Nathan, burned down her business, she worked for Lincoln, decorating his home and setting up a 'playroom.' Now he has let her go from being his PA and wants her to teach him how to use the BDSM place in his home; after all, that's what her successful business had been. Lincoln wants to protect her from the hooligans who killed her parents in a house fire ten years ago causing her to disappear, changing her name, and also from the gangsters that are after Nathan for the money he borrowed which prompted him to try to collect insurance money. Roxie agrees, saying they need a contract, which they agreed to a one-month time period. However, less than a week into it, he has to go to Cambodia and invites her to travel with him to a small village he is helping with a 15 year plan. What happens there changes the nature of their relationship. I can't believe I'm giving this cliffhanger five stars. It seems if your name is Summer, I'll rate your writing worth five stars and wait more than two months again for the next installment!

There are so many secrets that both Lincoln and Chloe/Roxie are keeping from each other that it is hard to know if they will ever get to their HEA. Roxie had to become a strong independent woman to survive the ten years since she last saw Lincoln and when she begins to realize that getting "close" to him threatens that independence, she gets scared. Lincoln grew up seeing his mother leave the many husbands she went through and that imprinted upon him that love is not real or lasting. When he reconnects with Chloe/Roxie he gets scared as they become closer because he "knows" that relationships don't last. This series had me addicted from the very beginning and I can't wait to continue my journey into the "relationship" between Lincoln and Chloe/Roxie and I am routing that they will both finally get over the obstacles that are in their way to be the couple that they deserve.

Another great book in this incredible series by Summer Cooper. Lincoln and Roxie have a very complex relationship so when Lincoln signs a contract with Roxie for her to show him how his new playroom works it all becomes very intense. As they are both getting to know each other again Lincoln has to head to Cambodia and asks Roxie to go with him. They both become very different people during this journey. Can they both be the person the other needs? It is a book about soul searching and starting over. The ending is somewhat a cliffhanger with a blast from Roxie’s past. I cannot wait for the next book in their journey.

This book, while very good, didn’t pack the same punch as the first book. Where that book had more action and development on the Nathan front, this book had a much slower pace and focused more on Roxie and Lincoln’s connection. There were some really steamy scenes and some really tender moments between Roxie and Lincoln.
They started to build something between them in Cambodia, but could they let themselves have it back in the real world? Can Lincoln get over his own issues to find his fairytale with his princess? And what happens when reality comes over unannounced?
I really want to know how both Lincoln and Roxie will handle everything that has happened!

So far each instalment has turned out quite like a part of a dance. The first book was the intro where you meet Roxie and Lincoln, but this book, this was all of the technical steps where they really put each other through their paces. Becoming reacquainted with each other, learning the subtle (or not so subtle) nuances that now make up each other's life. In the wider storyline, not much happens because this book is dedicated to Roxie and Lincoln and their changing and developing relationship. Summer has really taken the time to deep dive into these characters, to make them real for you. I'm guessing the next book will be the big finale, I'm thinking the lift, Johnny and Baby style.

Roxie and Lincoln share a past. It's not long before they are together again, and she wonders is she's making a mistake. She helps gets his house decorated and set up his playroom. Lincoln wants her to teach him how to use his playroom. Things continue to heat up between them. When he needs to go to Cambodia, he invites Roxie along. This trip changes things for them. What will be the next step for them?

This is another great installment that will hook you in. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

She is nothing like Lincoln remembers her to be, but he wants to get to know the new Roxie and offers her a contract to teach him how to be a dom. Lincoln doesn’t believe in love – his mother ruined that for him and Roxie knows getting to close to anyone is no longer an option for her after the way Nathan has treated her.

But will they stay this way when they return to the states??? And what happens when her child hood friend opens his door. This again ends with a cliffhanger and I am left sitting on the edge in anticipation of book 3

This is the place Roxie didn’t want to find herself in again it took her years to pick up the pieces and reinvent herself only to be there again. Phenomenal story! Book two in the incredible dancing with…series. This story just gets better and better. The characters are slowly knocking each other’s walls down. Both have been suffering in their own way and are beginning to find their old self. We are once again left on the cliff’s edge at the end but I wait with baited breath for book three as I know I’m going to love it. Sleepless night here I come. Well done Summer, you have managed to captivate me again. ;-) I read this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Roxie/Chloe and Lincoln's story continues in book two of the Barre To Bar series. They have a second chance at love and a contract is something they agreed to but will they be able to stick to it. When her ex shows up wanting money Lincoln goes into protective mode. This is an intense read paced with danger, suspense, great characters, steam, unexpected twists, and a cliffhanger ending that left me wanting more. I can't wait to read the next book in this series to find out what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

Prepare for an emotional roller coaster with Roxie and Lincoln. This is the second book in the Barre to Bar Series and can be read as a stand-a-lone. For full enjoyment, characters and backstory, I recommend that you read the first book in the series. Fate and a 'contract' brings them back together. The characters are amazing with lots of depth and personality. This book is intense and will grab your attention right at the beginning, No shortage of twists or emotion to keep your interest. Twice Crushed

This novel is a continuation of the Barre to Bar series. Lincoln & Roxie's love-hate continues. Roxie has fallen for him already, years ago, only to have her heart crushed. He weasels his way into her heart once again. Will she be able to cope with Lincoln stomping all over her heart again? We are left high & dry, wondering what has happened to Lincoln when Roxie responds to his text message. Book 3 on the horizon with our questions answered. A good story with these two in Cambodia & how their relationship evolves.

I feel a little stunned, just finished the book. Next book must be coming soon.
Roxie and Lincoln is getting to know each other again. Both the old version they were and the ones they are today. To keep her close for a longer time, Lincoln even signs a contract with Roxie, for her to teach him about ’everything’ that can be done in his new playroom.
During this time, they become a new improved version of themselves, but it’s dangerous…

Book two in the Barre to Bar series was a bit slower paced than book one. It didn’t hold my interest quite as much. (Maybe book three will pick up the pace.) The second book in the Barre to Bar series is slower based than the first book. We learn more about Lincoln & Roxie as they get to know one another. There is good character & story development and some good steam to keep you reading. The book ends with a cliffhanger so more then likely the base will pick up with book three. Looking forward to seeing what happens.

Lincoln is back in Roxies life more than ever in this book. Lincoln and Roxie enter into a very interesting contract. She’s going to educate him about his playroom. But the tables get turned. When he gets an unexpected call about his charity in Cambodia he asks Roxie to go with him. This was my favorite part of the book. These two could be their true selves there but can it sustain them when they get to the real world ? I didn’t want the book to end, left me hanging!

This is the second book in the series and for best enjoyment I do recommend reading them in order. Roxie and Lincoln’s story continues. Lincoln doesn’t plan on letting her go and he gets her to sign a contract teaching him all about BDSM. When he as to go out of the country and she goes with him. Will it turn into more than just the contract and can he keep her safe? Fast-paced read with loads of twists and turns, drama and steam. I liked it.

This is part two of three and oh so good!!!!! Lincoln and Roxie (Chloe) have decided to make a contract together but you never know how close that will bring you?!? Unfortunately there is always haunts from the past that get in the way........
I love reading SC because I love her style and you can get lost in the story. Also because when you think you have it worked out, bam, she throws in a twist.

Whoa! The second book is possible better than the first one! Lincoln still has a hold over Roxie and she can't seem to keep away. The more time they spend together the more she realizes that she is falling for him, which could be dangerous for them both. They dance around her past and how long he will be around all while building the tension so tight you are waiting for the other shoe to drop...which does at the very end!!! Arggg...I need the last book! I received this ARC from Bad Boy Updates.

The Dance is Over

I was hooked on this series early in Book One. Enjoyable, well written, easy to lose myself in and be part of, as most great tales so hook me. The middle of this book was five stars. But the beginning and ending ... The stars overdid it with such shallow, selfish, stupid behaviors. Unreal. Not the kind of people I want to give my time, attention and emotions to any more. I'm done, Dancing. Moving on to other adventures. They should have stayed in Cambodia.

The characters are well written with a great story. Roxie is trying to make better choices. She spends one hot night with Lincoln again. She is trying to stay under the radar and away from the people trying to find her. Lincoln is a tie to her past and promises to keep her secret. Is more on the horizon for these two?.

Lincoln finally finds the girl but will he be able to keep her. They grow closer on an unexpected trip but ghosts from the past make their presence known. They do whatever they need to protect themselves even if it hurts them and the other. Roxie had to find her own power but now Lincoln is making her question herself.
