If sex is just a game, is love the prize?
Jo and Fatima enjoyed meaningless sex. They avoided relationships and had a rule to not sleep with the same person twice. That was until they met each other.

Nah..
This book didn’t work for me. This story felt repetitive and very superficial. I can understand trust issues, however for a doctor to have such an attitude towards love, sex and relationships after having a 5 year affair and not seek professional help was problematic. However my main issue with the book is Fatima‘s lack of accountability and selfishness. She agreed to be exclusive with Jo, then decides to go on an hair brained scheme with Professor Keller which included nudity, but she never came clean to Jo, nor did she actually fell that her actions were inappropriate. It took her a while to actually set any boundaries with Keller. As for the final showdown, Jo did make the whole affair about himself, which was wrong, however I think that again her lack of remorse for her actions was really what broke the camel’s back. All she talked about was her happiness while she couldn’t care less about the repercussions of her actions on his wife and son. The epilogue seemed to point to Jo having to apologize, and work hard for a second chance, however I hope he’s not the only one and that Fatima finds a moral compass and does some real work on herself. Her general coldness towards him was a real turnoff for me.

Confusing/WTF
I was so confused. You referred to Fatima as him/he. I never knew who you were referring to. This was just a book of sex. I am not knocking Fatima's appetite, but she bordered on free lady of the night. Dr Keller was an old crazy Dom. I couldn't blame Jo for how he felt about her ruining a family. They both have issues. The errors in this book were WTF? I am sick of rewriting books, pandemic be damn. Get a better editor. The same for book one. I am going to see how three goes.

Glad I Read It
Fatima, letting Keller have that much control over her, never dealt with that. Jo being traumatized by his mother action these people need counseling. Dr
Keller’s wife should have divorced his sorry behind, that some control his has. Matter of fact I have seen control like that before, made me want to whop that brothers ass. His girlfriend was a good friend, she had to get permission to go places without him, that’s sick.
This was a great story, off to read the ending.

The past
Jo is a go-getter, and he goes after what and who he wants. First, it was the job with Raffa, and second, it was Fatima. Jo and Fatima didn't know just how close their lives would intersect. Fatima’s past won’t be something Jo can forgive.
Short with no chaser. This story is riddled with errors; however, they don't stop the flow.

Jo & Fatima
In the ER she is bada*s, but outside of it she is a hot mess. Jo was the hit it quit it and so is Fatima, she gave her heart away before and was stumped over the worst way and she swore to never do that again. That was until Jo pursued her… and her past came to hunt her.
