Okay so let me just say that in the beginning of this book I did not understand which perspective was being talked. It threw me off quite a bit. It threw me off to hear everything from the MMC POV even in instances when there are things the FMC is doing out of his view. BUT as the story goes on, the story is built and at the end it all made sense why.
The heat in this story was nicely written, though I craved more, but that could just be me. There were some raw emotions for sure, some that even had me feeling really sad.
I received this as an ARC and rate it a 3.7 because it was hard to get into for me bc of how it read, but as I kept reading I enjoyed it. It's one of those stories that is very in depth with its emotional pull and not for the faint heart.
This book is spectacular! Absolutely loved the story and how they bonded throughout the whole thing. Love isn't easy and it showed it! Freaking amazing.
However let me tell you the ending is not what I was expecting and I wanted to throw my darn phone! Ugh! Still such a good book and the ending makes sense but gosh darn it!
I read this as an arc and loved it. As it started off slow, I found myself pulled into the story. It isn't as sexy as the majority of the books I tend to read but the story idea is a fresh one and very fun... And sad... To read.
