तलाश ज़िंदगी की अनुज सुब्रत की अभी तक की दूसरी किताब है। इतनी कम उम्र में ही यह शायर अपने क़लम से एक वहशीपन, दर्द और अपने अश्कों की ज़बान लिखने लगा। इनके कलाम में आपको ज़िंदगी से झुँझलाहट, मोहब्बत की तहक़ीक़ और आशना की सुंदरता पे कहे गए बेहद ख़ूबसूरत कलाम मिलेंगे, हालांकि शायर ने इन तमाम बातों तमाम फ़सानों से इंकार किया है,
"जिसने भी पूछा सबसे इंकार किया 'सुब्रत'
नाहीं कोई फ़साना था नाहीं कोई फ़साना है"
मगर ये भी है कि बिना दर्द के इस प्रकार का दर्द भी नहीं लिखा जा सकता है, और ऐसे ही शायर ने इस बात पे भी ज़ोर दिया है कि उसने कितने आँसू कितने दर्द से अपने कलाम को लिखा है,
"हमने कितने अश्कों से अश'आर को लिखा है
तुम क्या जानो दर्द-ए-दिल की तमन्ना क्या है"
और यही बातें बिहार के एक छोटे से शहर मोतीपुर में जन्मे २० वर्षीय अनुज सुब्रत को नायाब बनाती है। हालांकि, अनुज सुब्रत हिंदी, उर्दू, फ़ारसी, संस्कृत और भोजपुरी में लिखते है और ऊपर से इनकी सोच और लिखने का ढंग इनको पढ़ने और समझने में आम लोगों के लिए मुश्किलें पैदा करता है।

मगर ये भी है कि बिना दर्द के इस प्रकार का दर्द भी नहीं लिखा जा सकता है, और ऐसे ही शायर ने इस बात पे भी ज़ोर दिया है कि उसने कितने आँसू कितने दर्द से अपने कलाम को लिखा है,

Talaash Zindagi Ki is Anuj Subrat's second book till date. At such a young age, this poet started writing with his pen a tongue of wildness, pain and his tears. In his poetry, you will find very beautiful poems said on the annoyance of life, the investigation of love and the beauty of beloved, although the poet has denied all these things,
"जिसने भी पूछा सबसे इंकार किया 'सुब्रत'
नाहीं कोई फ़साना था नाहीं कोई फ़साना है"
But it is also that this type of pain cannot be written without pain, and in the same way, the poet has also emphasized that with many tears so many pains he has written his poems,
"हमने कितने अश्कों से अश'आर को लिखा है
तुम क्या जानो दर्द-ए-दिल की तमन्ना क्या है"
