Shipley's Sins starts right off where the first book ended. Then it came back around to there the first book started. I had so many emotions while reading it, I literally cried when malcolm lost his bestfriend/ brother and girlfriend at once. And cried again when he thought he lost clara also. I just wanted to hold him. I personally liked it better then the first. BUT you NEED to read the first one to fully understand the 2nd one and to feel complete with the story.

If you haven't read book 1 then you should otherwise you won't get the same feelings. Everything changes and if you thought to know what was next, then you're wrong. This story is so emotional, more than the first I'll dare to say. But I loved the ending and how the author makes us wonder what are they up to.

This is book 2 and it picks up exactly where Shipley's Secrets left off (book one). The connection with the characters was still there so much that a little over half way through the book the Author has me bawling like a baby until the end!!. For me these are all great signs of not only a great book but a great Author because making the reader feel is hard to do. I was sad but really happy with the ending! I do hope the Author can do the same for me in future books. If you don't buy book 1 and book 2 and love them you are crazy. This has got to be my favorite 2 book series of this year.

Book 1 was amazing, but this one was even better. The emotional journey with the characters will leave a lasting impact. The character development is so strong, you find yourself feeling everything they are. This is one you will stay up way too late reading because you have to know what happens.
