Acceptance Is Inevitable -
Connor was happy living his quiet life as a grump, that is until Poppy forced herself into his life and gave him a reason to let go of the past. Poppy had never felt safe because of her difficult life growing up, but everything change after she met Connor. She took steps to make Connor hers, which proved to be difficult and dangerous. However, it would take a near fatal incident for Connor to finally accept his fate.
This was an absolutely a wonderful story to read, as it took me on an emotional journey like no other, but left me feeling good at the end. If you are looking for an awesome story to read, then I suggest you get this book immediately. A true gem of a read.

This was a beautiful and emotional love story. You were so drawn into Connor and Poppy's story. It's actually a story about 2 broken souls who find each other when they both need it. Connor is a broken man he is a Daddy who thinks he is not good enough for anyone and Poppy is all alone and has a hard time finding someone but also for others to get to know her better because she is a Little. Seeing the road and going through it together to find each other is emotional but also beautiful. The characters and their characters connect fantastically with each other, if you are also curious whether they succeed and how they fare, then I recommend that you
read this book, it is definitely recommended!

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Poppy and Connor. Poppy is a little who has been bullied her whole life for being who she is. Connor is visiting his friends when he meets Poppy. She instantly feels safe with him and when he leaves to go home, she decides to hide and go with him. Connor is a fireman, but he doesn't think he is worthy of finding love. When he discovers Poppy, he agrees to let her stay for a couple of weeks before he returns her home. Poppy is determined to prove she belongs with Connor. I liked this story. I liked that Poppy knew she belonged to Connor and wanted to prove he deserved to be loved and that they could be happy together. Good one.

Very good
The story was so hearts stand loving. A Little who has no-one and a man denying that he needed anyone. They are two broken people that just need love and understanding. Well written and heartbreaking at times but also beautiful.
