everything Yui went through at that village as a kid has me LIVID ! but the sibling relationship between him and Akira is so cute❤️🩹. also not Mihai making Shiki train through the VR game lmao😭

I am heavily marking the rating of this down due to yet another backstory that includes sexual assault and this time on a minor. It’s just not necessary, especially in a manga that is marketed to teens. It’s such a shame as this manga generally avoids the usual fanservice (so far at least) and obligatory pervy side character. I am also not a fan of the bratty kid type so I hope we do not get too much of the new one, that being said, it does seem like we are at least having some momentum in the overarching story of trying to find Kanabe’s parents, albeit slowly.
Yay! My little demon is on the cover this time! I loved this volume. Seeing what happened to Yui was traumatic but I’m happy he finally gets to live free.
Kabane is a oblivious cutie as always and Shiki is such a good friend. I keep finding Kon annoying but let’s see if she too finally manages to grow up.
We are now past the anime adaptation and into a new arc, finding out about Kabane’s parents and the stones. I love the new young female character Iyo, so full of herself. Should be fun with her and Kon battling over Kabane. Another fantastic volume!
Si conclude anche la seconda storia famigliare. Ora tocca a Kebane. Basta lasciarsi trasportare dagli eventi. Vedremo...
The beginning of this volume wraps up the arc involving Akira’s mature yet deeply troubled twin brother: Yui. It shattered my heart to see the flashback of Yui and Akira’s youth, and I hope Yui gets a proper redemption later on in this series. The latter half of this volume shows everyone going their separate ways for the time being. Akira wanting to help Yui adjust to the modern world while also bonding with him, and Shiki decided to get training from Mihai. Inugami and Kabane take a trip to visit the Tanuki clan to learn more about Kabane’s parents, as well as about his calculus. I’m very curious to see how things go from here since the Tanuki clan is full of some unique characters.
