New and updated edition! Previously published in 2018 as "Bound".
Morgan le Fay still dreams of being burned alive, but at least she isn’t dead.
After waking up on Avalon, Isle of the Priestesses, Morgan is given a go back in time to fix the mistakes that killed King Arthur and destroyed Camelot, or commit to a life of banishment and seclusion. Her choice will give her another chance at healing and love, if she can find the courage to accept it.
Tristan de Liones must stop a war and save his uncle’s kingdom. Falling in love with the Irish princess Isolde, his uncle’s intended bride, wasn’t part of the plan. Now he has a maintain his honor as a knight and escort Isolde safely to the kingdom of Cornwall, or follow his heart and claim her for himself.
In this riveting sequel to “The Lady's Last Song,” the classic, tragic love story of Tristan and Isolde is retold and given new life as a tale of love, healing, and redemption.
For fans of The Mists of Avalon and The Once and Future King.

Bound is the second novel by Bree Moore and it continues her story of Morgan le Fay from Woven. While Bound has some twists in the plot line, particularly with regards to Morgan's timeline, the story of Tristan and Isolde did not contain many surprises, which was one of the aspects I loved in Woven, the way that Moore took the traditional story of Arthur, Guinevere, Lancelot, and the Lady of Shallott, and retold that story in a whole new way. As someone who is very familiar with the story of Tristan and Isolde, that plot strand was very predictable.
However, the plot line of Morgan herself was different and intriguing, character development of Isolde/Morgan and Tristan was done very well and their relationship was portrayed realistically. The writing was descriptive and could take the reader to the time period and places portrayed in the novel; the arc of the story was interesting, though not as compelling as Woven; and the redemption of Morgan was my favorite part. Moore's Morgan is probably one of my favorite Arthurian characters in literature because of her realism, her bravery, and her continual striving to become better and to overcome the mistakes and choices of her past.
We find ourselves back in Arthurian times and Morgan Le Fey has a choice to make. Travel back in time and correct the mistakes made or do nothing and live a life in banishment. Morgan chooses choice number one and travels back hopefully to create a second chance at life and love. Going back Morgan finds herself bound to the body of princess Isolde as we join Tristan de Liones story to stop a war and save the kingdom and fall in love. It a wonderful read, well paced and filled with action, adventure, romance and twists and turns and I enjoyed every minute of it!
This was a different twist as the Camelot story and Morgan morphed into the story of Tristan and Isolde for the bulk of the book. All came together though in the final chapters.
A magical twist on the Camelot story. Bree Moore delivers again with her unique way of storytelling. A little different to my usual read but I found myself totally immersed and invested in Tristan and Isolde’s story.
Moore has crafted an exquisite masterpiece! King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table are one of my favorite fairy tales. I so enjoyed this novel.
Recommend to readers who enjoy fairy tale retellings.
