Oh boy. Sophie is at that point where she is questioning whether or not she is missing out on the things that young women her age experience. Her love for her men continues to grow day by day and Roman, Nick, Holden and Gunnar wants Sophie to experience everything life has to offer. Whether it's traveling the world. Pursuing a different career or just taking time off to find herself.

Emotions run high when the fellas decide to take the biggest risk of their lives and plan for a future with Sophie at the helm. 4 Proposals, 4 Grooms, 1 Bride and a wedding venue planned in Paris. What could possibly go wrong?

I'm excited to see what's in store for Sophie and her Fiancés as they prepare to embark on this journey of forever together.

Roman bought an engagement ring for Sophia before they left Hawaii. The wedding had awakened his deep desires for a conventional marriage. But he knows he has to talk to Gunner, Nick, and Holden first. Sophia is learning to speak Italian to Roman. She has lunch and visits art exhibits with Nick. She talks Holden into a big birthday party to celebrate him and buys him a fake tattoo skin to go over his prosthesis. Gunner is always making Sophia happy and is a big worry for Roman's desire to marry Sophia. But to make Sophia happy, Gunner 'meddles' in setting her friend from D.C. up with three of their friends with a security business in D.C. Roman gets a surprise reaction when he tells the guys his desire! Best surprise for the reader, this series will have yet a sixth installment! Recommended read.

I have really enjoyed this series so far! Sophia is such a total sweetheart. And the chemistry between Sophia, Roman, Nick, Gunner and Holden was still as sizzling steamy hot as ever! Things seem to get even better and better for this reverse harem romance.

My first exposure to author Barbi Cox was when I found her Daddy's 4 Dirty Friends series in KU. Starting with book 1, I quickly devoured the first 4 books within a week. To say that I was addicted would be a gross exaggeration. Thankfully book 5 was set to be released within 1 month's time. I could survive that long without Sophie and her troop of delicious men, right? Well, let's just say that it's been a rough month. LOL

Finally Taken by Daddy's 4 Dirty Friends has been released and once again my world filled with smutty goodness is once again complete. Now if only I could figure out to how to have my own troop of hot men at my  disposal?... but I digress.  You are here for a book review aren't you?

"Taken by Daddy's Dirty Friends" picks up at the point where Sophie has found the engagement ring Roman purchased while in Hawaii. Roman wants a traditional marriage and to make Sophie his forever wife. Sophie wants that, too. But not only with Roman.  She loves equally Roman, Holden, Nick and Gunner. Without all 4, her heart cannot be complete and she could never pick just one. Nick and Holden have expressed that they have no desire to ever marry. However, Gunner would love to marry. After feelings of insecurities arose in Gunner while in Hawaii after Sophie was forced to pretend that only Roman was her boyfriend while attending a wedding, Sophie fears that Roman's desire to marry her with his name only on the wedding certificate may drive a wedge between their group. Would Gunner be OK with Roman being her legal husband but still continuing to share her with the others? Or will the dynamic of their group be destroyed forever due to hurt feelings and jealousy?

With the idea of  marriage on the table, job burnout and career discontentment on the mind, a feeling of general discourse takes over the hearts of not only Roman but Sophie as well. Their sudden shift in mood comes to affect the group as a whole. Everyone knows that  something is up, but what? Secrets are being kept. Will the group fall apart or will they learn to communicate and determine how to secure a future as a 5-some with a very emotionally and sexually satisfying forever together ahead of them?


"Taken by Daddy's 4 Dirty Friends" has everything I look for in a book: emotionally charged, engaging characters with depth; compelling plot angst; and most importantly,  a sizzling hot sexual charge and connection between  the main characters.  Yet again, author Barbi Cox has me wondering if I can patiently wait until the release of book 6 I'm the series, "Touched by Daddy's 4 Dirty Friends".

**I REALLY hope that Valerie,  Lief, Chase and Hunter get their own series in the very near future. .

Things are getting serious now between Sophie and her men as their relationship continues to move forward. It's nice to see the softer, sweeter sides of Gunner and Roman showing more often and Nick is really coming into his own this last couple of books. Sophie throws a birthday party for Holden and we get to meet her best friend Valerie. How will Valerie see Sophie's situation? As best friend you can bet she's going to make sure each of the guys are good enough for Sophie and deserve her. We also have three new men introduced to the story who Gunner tries to fix Valerie up with.
There's some undefined the surface tensions as both Sophie and Roman are reevaluating their lives and jobs. There are rumours at work and Neal tries causing trouble which could be sorted very easily but Miles, Sophie's dad comes down hard about it on Sophie which just seems to be him trying to impose some control. Not sure this will have whatever effect Miles expects.
Not many books of this type could keep it fresh and you wanting more for 5 books, it says a lot for Barbi's writing that she keeps you so invested and needing more. Another thing about this series is the steam of which there's plenty. Now we all like good sex scenes in our books but so many get stale, boring or outright cringy after one or two sex scenes in a book, some are good but it's literally the same scene each time just worded differently! Not Ms Cox, no, no, no! She keeps these scenes interesting and exciting, definitely never boring, stale or cringe. I just thought that deserved mentioning. I'm looking forward to the next book but with some trepidation as I think it may be the last one and while I understand it's got to finish sometime I don't want to say goodbye to Holden, Roman and the guys yet.

'Taken by Daddy's 4 Dirty Friends' by Barbi Cox is the fifth book in her Their Temptation series and continues the story of Sophia, who moved to NYC to work in her dad's company, and four of her father's friends, all former platoon members and current business partners; Gunner, Holden, Nick, and Roman. The group survived Bella's manipulations during her wedding and strengthened their relationship in the process. But Sophia is still a bit flummoxed by what she found in Roman's luggage and how that might change everything.

This book has a bit more to do with Sophia's internalizing of her feelings and sense of self. She is trying to figure out who she is outside the dynamic of the relationship and what to do with her life. However there is still plenty of laughs and passion throughout the book. We are introduced to friends of the group, Sophia's best friend from college, Valerie, and three long time friends of the guys, Hunter, Chase, and Lief. And coincidentally they all live in Washington, D.C., possible spin off?

Ms. Cox has written an engaging and delightful story that is more then just a sex romp. This book has depth and facets beyond just an average reverse harem story. Ms. Cox wrote so eloquently about the different aspects of the relationships between Sophia and her men. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes some kink with their romance. Well worth the read. Can not wait for the next one.

Everyone survived the wedding in Hawaii and are home again, but what does the future hold for Sophie, Roman, Nick, Gunner and Holden?
This book deals with the surprise Sophie found in Roman’s bag on their return from Hawaii. Each of the guys are asking themselves what they want from a future with Sophie. As Sophie starts to battle with her mixed feelings on what her future will look like.
We are introduced to Sophie’s best friend Valerie and three friends of the guys, Leif, Hunter and Chase. I’m hoping that Barbi gives them their own story as this little taste has left me wanting more!
I enjoyed reading the further developments in the characters and their relationships with each other. There is no big drama as such in this book but it seems Barbi is setting the scene for something big whether that is from Neal or the demanding stockholder; maybe Sophie’s dad will finally be pushed too far.
I can’t wait to read more as the gang head to Paris.

Delicious Continuation

I love this series! Sofia continues to evolve with her men; her internal emotions make this a passionate love affair that cannot possibly go wrong.

What I love is how over a series of short novels we really get to know the internal motivations and the emotional journeys for each person: Sofia, Roman, Holden, Nick and Gunner.

In any good reverse harem, one question often arises: can it work long-term legally and in polite society? It's far from being about sex because it's clear that Sofia cannot possibly choose between any of these men - and they cannot choose to just have anything different than the arrangement the five of them share.
Are there annoyances? Yes.
Are there times with a bit of angst? Absolutely.

The terrific secondary characters provide spark (especially Sofia's dad),and new characters show up to keep the party going.

This is a keeper and some of the BEST reverse harem around.

I am absolutely LOVING this series!!!! Barbi did another fantastic job taking us futher in the journey of Sophie, Gunner, Holden, Nick and Roman.

There love has grown so much more in this book and they have to decide what the future will hold for them together and individually. Individually,  they are all going through different stages of life and trying to figure that out. The lovely part is that they have eachother for support. Together, with the guys past hinder their ability to make a decision that works for all of them, or is their love for Sophie enough?

I've also enjoyed all of the supporting characters and their story lines. Kind of hoping Valerie will be getting her own series with the gentleman introduced to us at the birthday party. Could make for a real fun read.

This book made me laugh, cry and swoon so hard! I can't wait to read the next book to see how this all plays out. Fantastic series!

Will she say yes?

They're back from Hawaii, back to reality. Sophia is having second thoughts about her life and what she wants to accomplish. One of her men is thinking hard about their future.

This is a touching continuation of Barbi Cox's Their Temptation Series. Sophia and her 4 military alphas are still learning to navigate their polyamorous relationship, and working on solidifying their future. The men show that they've grown emotionally and that they are listening to Sophia when she tells them what she does and does not like. Sophia is her usual caring and doting self, still bringing the best out of the guys and helping Holden fight his demons.

I liked this story, and am looking forward to the next in this series for the big event!

Barbi has the guys pulling out all the stops in this book! Everything to make Sophie (and we readers swoon). It picks up right after Sophie's discovery of Roman's mysterious purchase. She's true to all her men though and makes it clear she won't allow anything to jeopardise what they all have. So, how it plays out is up to Roman and you have to read to the end to find out how he and the guys make that happen. Have tissues at the ready! We also get introduced to another group of friends-which seems a perfect intro to another set of books in future (hint, hint Barbi). Lots of big questions in this book which lead into the next. Looking forward to finding out what decisions everyone makes...if Miles's blood pressure stays in check and if Diana can keep her hands to herself for one day lol.

Our Favourite group are back
Well once again it seems that this amazing group of people have to overcome issues. Neal it’s trying to cause problems at work and Sophie fears but now the Roman has bought an engagement ring it’s going to bring a wedge between the group. Sophie loves these men equally and doesn’t want anyone of them to feel that she doesn’t. And when her best friend Valerie visits how will she come to terms with Sophie and her 4 amazing sexy men??
Another fantastic read about my favourite group of people. It’s got everything the chemistry and the passion that these people feel for each other is just off the charts. How did my Kindle not burst into flames!!!! . The connection they have is just what we all hope to have.
Is there a hint of another series coming our way?? With maybe Valerie??.

🗣BARBI!!! Barbi continues to take this series to another level, and I don't want it to end! The love, adventure, excitement, and devotion these four men have for Soph and she has for them is beautiful and oh so hot. We get to see vulnerability and emotions from everyone in this installment as we're reaching a point of where everyone sees themselves in the future. I love that they handled it all with care and humor that only the five of them could. Oh Diana! She is always a treat when she's around the fellas and to know she does it to get a rise out of Miles is HILARIOUS! Valerie, Valerie, Valerie...I'm intrigued by Hunter, Lief, and Chase and only Barb I will tell us where that's going. Allons-y! Off to Paris we go!.

Once again, Barbi Cox takes me in this ride with Sophie and daddy’s 4 friends. I was so glad that this wasn’t the last book in this series. I don’t want it to end.

Sophie ends up finding a ring that Roman bought while they went to the wedding in Hawaii. Though the agreement was simple. And it worked for them that Sophie was with all 4 of the them equally. Though Gunner has expressed that he would like to get married as well. Nick and Holden are content to not get married. Will the guys be ok with Sophie marrying Roman? Will their relationships remain intact if they marry? Read to find out what happens in this book!

Steam off the charts of course, secrets, tension, emotional and and introduction to new friends. I can’t wait to see what happens next in this series.

First of all, I would definitely recommend to read the first 4 books before diving into this one. I was very impatient to read this book as the last book left off with a cliffhanger. I basically dropped anything else I was currently reading just so that I could read this book as soon as it was available! I was very curious to see how the ring was going to affect the relationships, and the author does not disappoint. I don't want to spoil anything, but will say that the ending was heartwarming and honestly the series could just end with this book. However, I hear that another book will follow and I will of course be waiting impatiently for it as I can't get enough of these characters! .

I highly recommend reading the first four books before reading this story so you will know the characters and understand what is going on in this book. Barbi does an excellent job of developing the characters and you can't help but love the interactions between them. This story starts out with some tension between Roman and Sophie. While Roman is trying to figure things out the other guys notice that something is bothering him. Near the end of the story the guys have a conversation and it ends with everyone in agreement and the set up for the next book. I love the dynamics between Sophie and the guys and how well their relationship works. If you like RH, I highly recommend this book and the series.

This story is five POV - the female lead, Sophia, and her four male partners, Holden, Gunner, Roman, and Nick, - well written, and ends in a Happy For Now! Yay!

Whilst I’m not really into serials, I have appreciated that the first three in this series ended in a happy for now, so that the next story is further exploring the happiness these characters are creating for themselves. I have enjoyed this a lot. This story continues in that vein and I again enjoyed the individual character development of each lead character as well as the interrelationship development AND the fact that secondary characters are involved - it’s not just five characters in a bubble! Very nicely done!

Not a rocky moment between Sophie and her men until she notices a very intriguing item in Roman's luggage from their recent trip abroad to Hawaii, but will this item bring them together better and stronger or bring relationships crashing down to Earth? Those four males are so hot and delicious and as the series progresses they get more attractive to the female reader, meanwhile Sophie's character is starting to question a few things in her own life. As the fifth instalment in the series the reader is starting to see small advancements in these truly sensuous relationships Sophie has with each of her four men, where it will eventually lead onto time will tell.

A captivating fourth book in the series.
I love this story and these characters.
Sophie, Holden, Nick, Roman and Gunner are back from Hawaii. Sophie finds a ring in Roman's luggage. Her colleagues complain she is having to much time off. Her father is still not happy she is involved with his four friends. Sophie realises she has no life outside work and her men.
So much is running through their heads, balls being juggled, friendships rekindled. New friendships made. This all sets the scene for an engaging, fast paced, entertaining plot.
I love the plot detail, depth of characters and twists and turns.
I can't wait for the next book and highly recommend this book, series and author.

Age gap steamy romance

After returning home from Hawaii and finding the engagement ring in Roman's suitcase Sophia is shocked that he has marriage on his mind already. Although the more she thinks on it, the more she feels ready for a wedding with the four loves of her life.
I really enjoyed this book, Sophia's relationship with Roman, Gunner, Holden and Nick is so full of love and I really enjoy being able to read their perspectives and how much they adore her.
There are issues at work and Neal trying to be difficult. Sophia is unsure of her future in the company and is conflicted whether to leave or not.
I enjoyed the addition of Valerie to the story and excited to see if she gets to know the 3 brothers more.

Planning For The Future -
This book was just as hot and steamy as the previous four books in the series. It had a fascinating storyline, that had me hooked from the beginning and took me on a rollercoaster of emotions with shenanigans that occurred between the characters. You won’t be able to help but fall in love with these incredibly lovable characters and want to read the book again as soon as you finish. I inhaled this sweet and heartfelt story in a few short hours and it left me looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

This series just keeps getting better. This book was less about external issues and more about the internal struggle for Sophie. She is trying to figure out who she is outside the dynamic of the relationship and what to do with her life. There are some struggles for her and one of the guys too. Everyone is feeling the pressure of juggling work and the life they want. We are introduced to Sophie's BFF and a trio of long-time friends of the guys. I smell a spin-off and I'm here for it. Can't wait to read the next book and see what's in store for Sophie!

This book is not a stand alone but part of a series. Please do not read this book alone read them in order. The gang is back in the book but as we learned in the last book Roman is really thinking about marriage. Sophia wants no secrets between the 5 of them and with knowing this and the other guys have no clue what is going on in her mind has her putting the breaks on any discussion of it. What will happen next with these 5 you will have to read it to find out.

Another amazing story in this series. I would highly recommend it to anyone and everyone
