Meh

The storyline is good; HOWEVER, it felt like it was missing pieces. Some characters came and went without enough elaboration.

This is another one of the books I fell into because of an ad- I’m not sure that I would have hunted the book down 😂however, it was entertaining throughout *most* of it. Some parts were too cheesy and too YA and then other parts were too gory and too “adult” for me. But it was fun. 🤷‍♀️

In one scene there was immense violence, yet the main character said “darn” 😂😂😂 Kind of silly.

I read this book on the Galatea app, one chapter at a time between 6-hour breaks. It was easy to follow. The protagonists are relatable and fun to watch, navigating from one situation to another and fumbling with love at each turn.

I love all the books in this series but this is the one I read first on another platform before finding the rest here. I love that it's fast paced with witty side characters and a happy ending. Just fun and sweet.
