Harrison Greenbelt seems to have it all, a member of the Skye Dun clan, he leads it along with his chosen brothers Warrington and Seamus. He’s been on edge, though, ever since he was in a car bomb that injured him badly and killed his bodyguard. Since his recovery, he’s been working overtime to discover just who’s behind the continuing attacks against the Skye Dun clan. He spends his days, and most of his nights, hunched over his laptop, or his books, bringing all his research skills to bear to solve the mystery of the power crystal and guardian dragon. He doesn’t have time for dating, let alone a fated mate. Too bad for him, the universe has its own plans. Riven is only three months into his new job as a security guard for the Skye Dun clan when he’s sent upstairs to be the personal bodyguard to one of the big Alpha bosses, Harrison Greenbelt. It’s putting his skills as a personal bodyguard to best use. The only problem is, Harrison has fired one bodyguard after another, some not even lasting the day. Riven is determined to be the one that lasts. The only hiccup is that he finds the man extremely attractive and is having feelings he knows he shouldn’t. When it turns out that Harrison is also attracted to him, all bets are off. Mates, babies, pregnancies, power crystals, guardian dragons and a very determined adversary all come together in this third book of the Skye Dun Clan.
Often referred to as "Space Cowboy" and "Gangsta of Love" while still striving for the moniker of "Maurice," Sean Michael spends his days surfing, smutting, organizing his immense gourd collection and fantasizing about one day retiring on a small secluded island peopled entirely by horseshoe crabs. While collecting vast amounts of vintage gay pulp novels and mood rings, Sean whiles away the hours between dropping the f-bomb and persuing the kama sutra by channeling the long lost spirit of John Wayne and singing along with the soundtrack to "Chicago."
A long-time writer of complicated haiku, currently Sean is attempting to learn the advanced arts of plate spinning and soap carving sex toys.
Barring any of that? He'll stick with writing his stories, thanks, and rubbing pretty bodies together to see if they spark.
Harry and Riven were perfect together. Hot sex and babies. A new guardian dragon and more added to the Skye Dun Clan. Follows pretty much the same format as the last two books in the series. With a good wrap up at the end.
How big is this building? Harrison, is concerned he hasn't found the person or organization who is trying to hurt the Clan. He is still not able to go outside his area even though there are plenty of guards. He challenged himself to find a solution where he barely eats and sleeps. His outlet, is finding fault with his personal bodyguards and firing them. His new bodyguard was as tall as him and wider, huge! He noticed Riven Allsup's size, his beauty and that he was an Omega. Riven did his best to be the perfect bodyguard and to last. Harrison, noticed everything. This is my favorite of the three and Riven is an absolute gem. He is everything and you can see he fits in. There are reveals, surprises and many questions answered. Great story, it would be fun to have a novella to see how the kids are doing and how Brock is growing up with all the little kids. Well done, lotsa fun!
This book is just wonderful. A little different than the other books but similar. Harry can’t deal with the guards that security sends. He fires yet another one and when Shay, one of his heart brothers, calls Harry agrees to let him vet the next guard. Riven is bound and determined not to get fire. A few weeks in and he still has a job, only his also has the attention of Harry his boss. Together their relationship grows and they realize they are mates. Soon they work together to find who the guardian is. Harry has pretty much figured it out but he needs confirmation and he soon gets it. There’s love, sweetness, possessiveness, a little bit of comedy and yep you guessed it…smexy times. It’s a 5 star ⭐️ rating for me. 💜
The last of the Sky Dunn series offers the best characters. Harry is grumpy, Riven is quiet, competent sunshine. Riven is also larger than most omegas. And is convinced that no one would want an omega that isn't petite and fragile. Harry spends a decent amount of time convincing his mate that he's absolutely perfect. The caring and support between the two and their fierce protectiveness makes this a most enjoyable reading.
I liked both Harry and Riven and it's a good insta-love final installment but I was a little disappointed by the fight as there wasn't any followup on Brock and how he coped in the aftermath.
Could have done with more background on Riven beyond alpha-sized omega and a dead twin.
A pretty sweet, insta-lust/love series of 3 books about 3 "brothers" and their fated mates. There is an underlying story through all 3 but you could read each as a stand-alone as it is not the main focus of the stories; however, I enjoyed them all - just what I was looking for on a long summer day.
This book was a great ending to the series. I was so glad to see Harry get his mate and happy ever after, especially because he thought it wouldn't happen for him Riven was his perfect complement- an unusual omega who was exactly what Harry needed.
It was nice to see the last heart brother get his mate. I especially like how it was the book in the series where everything appears to come into the light as the clan settles for the future.
As Harry is assigned a new bodyguard, Riven, he can't imagine all the changes coming into his life. Harry becomes more and more fascinated with his bodyguard, Riven. Can they discover who is the guardian dragon?
Somehow, I felt disconnected because it's been a while since I read the previous book. Not only that, but also this book filled with narrations, and while it offered something different, such as the omega being the bodyguard, and his body wasn't your typical omega, I was still bored out of my mind.
I loved this series. The dragons and their mates are sweet and spicy all at once. The threat they were facing was a little anticlimactic but that wasn’t the main part of the story anyway. It was the family they were all building. Together. I think Riven is my favorite.
