Morgan and Tina found what they’ve been missing from love in each other, but it hasn’t all been smooth sailing.
After months of Tina’s ambiguous stance on monogamy and the prospect of marriage, Morgan took it upon herself to move their relationship to the next phase. Unfortunately, Tina held fast to her desire to be simply exclusive and Sidney is very much still in the picture to Morgan’s growing disappointment.
To make matters worse, after officially coming out, Morgan’s relationship with her parents have been strained leaving her feeling a little off center as she works towards a major career move.
Despite all of that, their bond is stronger than ever. Morgan still wants that ring and after a near fatal accident leaves her on crutches for months, Tina has finally found a compelling enough reason to give her all she’s ever wanted.
As Tina gears up to surprise her with that highly anticipated proposal on the anniversary of their love, Morgan finds herself grappling with her girlfriend’s commitment to their relationship.
It’s a game of give and take, with Tina trying to give her best friend turned lover everything she wants, while Morgan decides how much of her girlfriend’s sh*t she can take.

I loved the storyline and the characters. But one thing that bothered me was because I think there was a lot of emphasis on Tina‘s flaws and not enough on Morgan’s flaws because we all have flaws and no one is perfect. I understand, wanting to be married, but she damn near nagged the whole book about it, and she also expressed most of her concerns to people around her instead of expressing them to Tina. I didn’t like that Tina was vilified when all she’s ever done was show that she loves Morgan and she put her first. She made a lot of progress in a short time to be in her good graces, which was rarely acknowledged. Also, Morgan had a very nasty mean streak but because she’s Morgan everybody glossed over it. But hey if they like it I love it.
Deja Elise V Day II (V Day: A Friends to Lovers Romance Book 2) MC Tina & Morgan
The first book was amazing. The whole idea of the story was genius really. Tina saw her friend hurting and she wanted to give her the love and attention she deserved , the thing is that Tina is not the relationship type but Morgan is everything she has always wanted.
Sidney definitely wanted to be with Tina and when they were in the coffee shop, she wanted to say something to that effect. I feel like if Sidney had a chance to be with Tina, she would take it.
Morgan was a sweet woman who loved Tina and her many issues. There was pain there. She tried so hard to hide the pain she was really in , her childhood was not easy at all .
This is a story about decisions. Tina wanted to be a better person in every part of her life because of Morgan and the love she showed her. Tina is able to grow and develop as a person, to be more open to others and be kind.
Tina could not understand that keeping Sidney around was causing a lot of issues with Morgan . This story was beautiful, you have the opportunity to watch these two characters fall in love and fight to hold their relationship together no matter how hard the road may be.
I was happy to see Tina finally realize the damage that Sydney was causing her relationship and actually do some self-reflecting on how she needed to grow as a person. Change as a person for the sake of the life she desired and knew that she could have with Morgan.
Side note : Morgan’s parents were absolutely wonderful. They just loved their daughter and wanted what was best for her. Sweet people.
I highly recommend this series. It was simply amazing and the author's work is beyond superb. Definitely check out her work. It is available on Kindle unlimited. I could not recommend it more. 5 stars
I am loving the V Day series so far! It’s for sure a page turner that you just can’t get enough of buttttttt… Morgan is killing me. In book 1 the characters were thoroughly developed to where I figured who would be deemed as the “problematic” partner and the friendship that would be difficult to accept. But now even ending book 2 I just feel like Tina has taken too many blows from Morgan and she hasn’t gotten her just do with expressing herself to where Morgan fully understands her side of things nor her home girl. That one moment in this book where Morgan felt bad wasn’t enough for me because it was just again about Morgan feeling bad for the name calling but not the actual message.
I’m hoping book 3 Tina will be able to really been seen for who she is and all this amazing stuff she’s been doing all her growth and Morgan can give her her just do because she is looking like a pampered princess to me at this point, and it’s no longer enjoyable haha.
Other than that great storyline, additional characters add to the plot effectively. The intimate scenes are just the right amount of sizzle and spice.
* Heart eyes* I love this couple so fucking much !
*sad eyes * why did it have to ever end ! 🥺 Please please continue to write about them ! I don’t think It’s possible to ever get tired of them especially tina, something about a bad b*tch that’s also able to be loving to her partner, She’s my dream girl wrapped in a big red bow ! And I also would love to read more on Dell and her girlfriend, she’s another bad b*tch n charge that I could read about and never get tired of ❤️. I love your stories and I love your writing, please continue ❤️
This was a great read! I loved seeing Tina’s growth and willingness to get outside her comfort zone and finally realize she was lovable. Seeing Morgan’s parents support and Morgan’s growth as well. I still didn’t quite get the Tina/Sidney dynamic and why Tina was so pressed about Vanessa. Also Deja’s vision for fashion and decorating is on point! I look forward to seeing these too again! Great stories, continue doing what you do!!
I love the Tina and Morgan story but sometimes I want to slap Tina. But we all could be Tina not knowing what love is or how to love. Deja really stripped away the barriers of Tina that allowed us to Understand why Tina is the way she is. Morgan has helped her to become a better person. Great book for couples to read
You will not be disappointed with this book at all. Seamless transition, characters remain well developed, storylines are just great, they flow, everything just flows together!
I’m feeling Tina’s growth. A few parts has be holding my breath. But in real life some love is messy for various reasons. I love the non profit intro and team building aspect. Really breaks down each character in a deeper level. Thick book I wish was thicker. Spicy too.

I’m a sucker for Tina and Morgan, yes I am. At times, I wanted to fight them both, but I’m the captain of this ship and if it sinks, I’ll just make sure I’m wearing a life jacket. I’m heading right into book three because sleep is for the weak. 🤭
I love reading this book didn't want to put it down the characters in this book was great will you write another for the wedding because I would love to see it
