A cryptic note is the only clue to his identity. And now he's falling for the man who took his memories.

Levi Owens woke up in a hospital a year ago with no memories and nobody to claim him. The only thing in his pockets was a handwritten note with one word: Twin???

Starting his life over from scratch, Levi discovers a talent for crime and uses those skills to search for this supposed twin, hoping it'll help him find himself. Levi avoids all relationships, not knowing whom to trust, but when a rushed break-in gets him caught, he meets a man who makes him want something more.

Nash Turner made a horrible mistake a year ago, one that nearly cost a boy his life. When Levi shows up in Nash's office with no memory of what happened, Nash knows the time is coming to finally pay for what he did. But Levi is also a temptation, one that Nash can't resist.

Will Nash help Levi find the truth and risk their happily ever after?

Found Missing is the second book in the Gentleman Hackers series. It features a gentle daddy with a guilty secret, a lost boy in need of love, a major identity crisis, and an HEA ending. And Levi totally loves stuffies and cuddles, even if he won't admit it out loud.

G.R. Lyons stumbled into writing as a form of trauma recovery when traditional therapy wasn't working.

Then the story ideas just kept on coming.

Pulling from a vivid imagination as well as real-life experience as a trans man, a sexual assault survivor, and a person living with mental illness, Lyons has written multiple, interconnected series set within his fictional world of the Shifting Isles.

When not writing, Lyons can be found belly dancing around the house, studying anarcho-capitalist philosophy, buried in his never-ending TBR pile, or working out at the local CrossFit gym.

Another absolutely brilliant book by GR Lyons. This series and this world absolutely fascinates me and I already can’t wait for the next book!
Levi Owens is completely lost. After waking up in a hospital bed with no memory of himself or his life before, he tries to follow a tiny string of clues to unlocking his memories. Every thread he pulls leads to a dead end, and he spends a year not knowing anything, having no one claim him or recognize him.
Until a break in goes wrong and he ends up in the sights of a strong, handsome man. Nash Turner is a security expert, but after a mission goes horribly wrong, he finds himself guarded and changes how he does his job and conducts his life. He’s isolated and anxious, and doesn’t know how to stop it. Then he spots Levi in his office and he knows right away his perfect he is for Nash.
Nash and Levi have history, but Levi doesn’t know it. Nash just wants to protect and help Levi, but Levi is slowly losing hope at ever get his life back.
This was sweet, sexy, and really emotional. Both men have scars from their past that need to heal, and they don’t know if they can do it together. The Shifting Isles world is so interesting and I love the hackers in these books.
Absolutely brilliant!

Levi Owens woke up in a hospital with no memories, no family, and only a cryptic note—“Twin??”—to guide him. A year later, he’s reinvented himself as a skilled thief, using his talents to uncover the truth about his past. But trust doesn’t come easy, and Levi keeps everyone at arm’s length—until a botched break-in lands him face-to-face with Nash Turner. Nash has been haunted by a mistake he made a year ago—one that left Levi without a past. Now Levi’s back, unaware of Nash’s role in his memory loss, and the guilt Nash carries is matched only by the pull he feels toward Levi. As Levi searches for answers, Nash must decide whether to come clean and risk losing the man he’s falling for. Their connection is undeniable, but the truth could destroy everything. Will Levi uncover who he really is—and can Nash face the consequences of loving him?

I loved this story which was a gripping blend of mystery, redemption, and slow-burning romance. The mystery was central to the story along with the growing attraction between Nash and Levi. I loved the twists at the end when some discoveries were made. Easy to read and understand. This was an MM story with mature content and a Daddy/boy dynamic.

💞 A great start for both characters wanting to get past or find their past as the story begins.
I loved the first book and for anyone having not read this series yet includes paranormal universe world scenes.
Nash 38 yrs is a Detective working at Turner security at a desk afraid to dip his toes into field work after last time. Anyone who read the authors previous The Isles book series will meet the Crawfords again which is great to see them I this one. She leaves him with a proposal to think about meanwhile a case comes in for them for a robbery.
Levi is on the move trying a way to find someone who knows him after waking with amnesia a year ago.
Emotions and feels are high for both of them as secrets and the unknown comes into play.
I love this book from start to finish and couldn't help love both these characters for different reasons.
Features a trans man main character and beautiful telling his story, I can't wait for the next book. Includes both povs with an HEA ending but not without a few dramas.

Another satisfying read, pushing all the buttons. I love the depths the author goes to beyond the love story. Levi was a lost soul in need of someone like Nash, not knowing that Nash was responsible to him being lost. Nash has been in limbo ever since that fateful night. Levi was struggling to find his identity, his amnesia and dead end research into his past, hacking into a business that lead him full circle back to Nash. Out of guilt, Nash takes him in and their journey begins. Besides the guilt, Nash is drawn to Levi, feeling like Levi is all he has ever wanted, his feelings developing into something more than a savior. As their relationship develops, Nash is haunted by his responsibility for Levi's dilemma, knowing that he has to tell him and will lose him once Levi finds out. I love that we get a little of Brendan, Connor, and Frankie in the mix.

Loved it! I’m glad I was already familiar with the world before since it can be surprising if you start with book 2. The MC were interesting, I loved seeing our ghost(s) from book 1 and the mystery about Levi.

I think it’s the first time I read a MM romance without any penetrative sex scenes but it was still very sexy and very sweet!

I still have some questions about Levi and his family but I might get some answers in book 3. Thomas is already making me laugh with his bad temper so that should be fun!

It’s never explains so I wonder if Limbo/Incubus/The ghost figure out the truth IRL?? I’m also intrigued about Grim.

Found Missing

Wow! This was a great story, about two damaged people and their road to love. There are so many emotions contained here, from guilt, and worry, a little obsession, anger, fear, hope, love, and redemption, that it’s a bit of a roller coaster, but worth every dip and turn. The HEA was worth waiting for, and I’m anxious to read the next story!

Barely started but stopped after chapter 3. I know it is my pet peeve but the excessive use of the word ‘gods’ - from both characters!! (why do they use the same word???) - just can’t get passed that…
